Chicago Bears 1-3-0
Green Bay Packers 3-1-0

Game Recap: GREEN BAY-Chicago came off an overtime win in Pittsburgh. Their wide receivers and secondary were extremely banged up. Kevin White, Cameron Meredith, Jerrell Freeman, Kyle Fuller, and Quentin Demps were all inactive with injuries. Green Bay still doesn't have left tackle David Bahktiari or right tackle Bryan Bulaga. Advantage Packers.

Eddie Goldman got injured, and so did Ty Mongomery. A chest injury for Montgomery and a left knee injury for Goldman. Green Bay had a nearly perfect opening drive outside of one incompletion. They took up 5 minutes and 11 seconds on their opening drive.

Mike Glennon gets strip sacked on Chicago's very first play of the game. Clay Matthews forced the fumble and passed every Packer to lead on the All Time list in sacks. Aaron Rodgers threw a touchdown to Randall Cobb on third down. Just like that the Packers lead 14-0.

Chicago had a third fumble. It was overturned. Then we had a rain delay. This game was such a blowout that I already got an Aaron Rodgers photo for this game recap before the end of the first quarter. Green Bay led 14-0 after one quarter before the rain delay.

Aaron Jones had a rushing touchdown. It was his first career rushing touchdown and Lambeau Leap. That made it a 21-0 game.

Kendall Wright fianlly scored. The Packers led 21-7 at halftime.

Chicago missed a chip shot field goal. That gave Green Bay a chance to build on their momentum. Aaron Rodgers threw a touchdown pass to Jordy Nelson. Green Bay took a 28-7 lead.

Rodgers went back to Nelson again. Green Bay took a 35-7 lead.

Jordan Howard scored a meaningless touchdown in garbage time. Aaron Rodgers played so well that the Packers benched him for backup Brett Hundley to give him some early rest for the Dallas Cowboys game. To be fair a Bears player targeted Adams at wide receiver so this decision is understandable.

Green Bay won 35-14. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers was the player of this game without his starting offensive tackles. Rodgers went 18/26 with 179 passing yards, 4 passing touchdowns, and no interceptions. Chicago Bears quarterback Mike Glennon on the other hand was horrendous. He had 2 interceptions and two lost fumbles. His performance had many Bears fans calling for rookie Mitchell Trubisky who the Bears traded up to get with the second overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft by giving up 4 picks to move up 4 spots.

New Orleans Saints 2-2-0
Miami Dolphins 1-2-0

Game Recap: LONDON-Drew Brees headed to London to face Jay Cutler. Both teams were looking for their second win.

Jay Cutler threw an interception to Ken Crawley. Chase Daniels was calling plays under Sean Payton. Cordrea Tankersley dropped an easy pick. Neither team scored in the first quarter.

Wil Lutz missed a chip shot field goal that was wide right. It was so bad I thought about the Curb Your Enthusiasm theme song while Lutz whiffed that kick.

Lutz rebounded with a field goal before halftime. New Orleans led 3-0 after one half.

Drew Brees threw a touchdown pass to Michael Thomas. That gave New Orleans a 10-0 lead.

Miami got bailed out on an incomplete pass. It looked like Ken Crawley recovered a fumble for a touchdown, but Crawley was ruled down. New Orleans led 10-0 after three quarters.

New Orleans was driving. A botched snap by Max Unger nearly resulted in a turnover plus a penalty looked like it would take New Orleans out of field goal range. New Orleans took a 13-0 lead. Brees pitched it to Alvin Kamara on a pass after bringing a three wide receiver set. New Orleans took a 20-0 lead and won 20-0.

Drew Brees was the player that stepped up today. Brees went 29/41 with 268 passing yards, 2 passing touchdowns, and no interceptions. With Brees clicking without Terron Armstead or Willie Snead you have to consider how much momentum the Saints have established so far.

Tennessee Titans 2-2-0
Houston Texans 2-2-0

Game Recap: HOUSTON-Brian Orakpo and Derrick Morgan were expected to continue their pass rush on Deshaun Watson. This game had huge implications in the AFC South Division.

Marcus Mariota threw an interception early in the game. It was Andre Hal. Houston capitalized on the following drive as a Lamar Miller rushing touchdown gave Houston a 7-0 lead.

Houston made another defensive stop. Deshaun Watson built on his momentum with a passing touchdown to Deandre Hopkins. That gave Houston a 14-0 lead. That would be the score after one quarter.

Houston watched Watson throw to Will Fuller who returned from a broken collar bone. That made it a 21-0 game.

Marcus Mariota ran for a rushing touchdown. That made it a 21-7 game.

Houston got a field goal. Marcus Mariota got another rushing touchdown. That made it 24-14 Texans.

Watson got a rushing touchdown and that made it 30-14. Andre Hal picked off Marcus Mariota once again.

Houston scored in the second half. Deshaun Watson threw another touchdown pass to Will Fuller. Houston took a 37-14 lead. Houston won 57-14 a pick 6 by Dylan Cole where he picked off Matt Cassel.

Marcus Mariota tore his hamstring. He finished the game 6/10 with 96 passing yards, 0 passing touchdowns, and 2 interceptions. Andre Hal at free safety was the biggest reason that the Titans and Texans are both 2-2 with Houston owning the tiebreaker.

Jacksonville Jaguars 2-2-0
New York Jets 2-2-0

Game Recap: NEW YORK-Jacksonville returned to America following their win in London. The Jets were hoping to win back-to-back home games.

Blake Bortles did a great job to begin this game. He played smart and made sure to balance the football by getting running back Leonard Fournette involved before throwing a passing touchdown to Fournette.

Bilal Powell fell down. He got back up. He still ran for a touchdown. Powell scored on a 75-yard rushing touchdown. That tied the game at 7.

Both teams traded field goals in the second quarter. It was a 10-10 game at halftime. Jacksonville's defensive line did a great job exposing this anemic Jets' offensive line. Yannick Ngakoue had 2 sacks and a forced fumble for Jacksonville. Calias Campbell had a sack. Strong safety Barry Church also had a sack. These guys got after McCown after this first half and it is amazing that Josh McCown was 10/11 with 95 passing yards with this defense up in his face.

Neither Bortles or McCown made a bad throw into coverage in the first half. This felt like a chess game between Bortles and McCown where you were waiting for which quarterback would screw up on their assignment.

Elijah McGuire got a rushing touchdown. That gave the Jets a 17-10 lead. Then they got a field goal to lead 20-10 at halftime.

Jacksonville managed to make it a 3 point game. Myles Jack recovered a fumble and returned it for a touchdown. Then Jacksonville kicked a field goal to send it into overtime.

This game nearly ended in a tie. The Jets won 23-20 in overtime. Bilal Powell was my player of the game. Powell had 21 carries, 163 rushing yards, and 1 rushing touchdown. Powell's speed allowed the Jets to get off to a 2-2 start.

Carolina Panthers 3-1-0
New England Patriots 2-2-0

Game Recap: NEW ENGLAND-The key matchup was going to feature two field generals. Carolina Panthers middle linebacker Luke Kuechly VS New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.

Carolina and New England both made huge defensive stops on third down. That made things a 3-3 game. Gostkowski gave New England the lead and Gano tied it at 3. The game was a 3-3 contest after one quarter.

Tom Brady drove downfield and he connected with Chris Hogan on a receiving touchdown. New England took a 10-3 lead.

Cam Newton responded with a touchdown of his own. That made it a 10-10 game.

Tom Brady drove New England downfield. Brady took up 5 minutes and 11 seconds. Carolina made New England settle for a field goal. New England led 13-10.

Cam Newton picked apart Malcolm Butler on two plays on the following drive. After Newton moved the chains twice he fired a touchdown to Devin Funchess after throwing first downs to Funchess and Kelvin Benjamin leading up to that touchdown. Carolina led 17-13. Gostkowski got a field goal as Carolina led 17-16 at halftime.

Carolina got the ball to start the second half. Carolina had a chance to build on their lead. Trey Flowers forced a fumble that Elandon Roberts recovered. New England had a chance to regain the lead.

Julius Peppers sacked Tom Brady on third down. Peppers got by both left tackle Nate Solder with 2 quarterback hurries and when he lost battles to Solder, Nate got away with some holding calls that were not called. Peppers abused right tackle Marcus Cannon.

Stephon Gilmore really killed the Patriots with an illegal use of hands penalty on third down. Cam Newton threw an incomplete pass, but that penalty allowed Carolina to keep their drive alive so instead of settling for a field goal, Carolina got a touchdown to lead 23-16 instead of 20-16 and that's one more reason why the Panthers won today.

Carolina had the ball for 9 minutes and 59 seconds in the third quarter. Carolina led 23-16 after three quarters.

Fourth quarter, Cam Newton gets his 50th career rushing touchdown. That gave Carolina a 30-16 lead.

Tom Brady put together a drive. He took up over 4 minutes of clock. Dion Lewis got a rushing touchdown which reduced Carolina's lead by a touchdown.

D'Onta Hightower returned from his injury against the Chiefs. He made a huge sack on third down. Tom Brady had one more chance to tie this game.

Brady began the drive with a 17-yard completion to Brandin Cooks. Brady got Danny Amendola involved with 3 receptions that resulted for first downs including a game-tying touchdown which made it a 30-30 game. Brady put together his 79th career 300 passing yard game.

Carolina had 3 minutes and 4 seconds to take the lead over New England. Gilmore had another illegal use of the hands penalty on third down on a Cam Newton incompletion. Jonathan Stewart and Cam Newton had big runs. Carolina got the game-winning field goal to win 33-30.

Luke Kuechly was my player of the game. I said on my predictions page that if he read Tom Brady with his football IQ, Carolina could win this game if Kuechly stepped up on defense McCaffrey stepped up on offense. That's what happened sort of with Kuechly on defense, but it was Newton who stepped up offensively. Kuechly had 12 solo tackles, 2 assisted tackles, and 14 total tackles. He did an awesome job for Carolina which is why Carolina won. New England lost due to sloppy play by their offensive tackles and cornerbacks.

Detroit Lions 2-1-0
Minnesota Vikings 2-1-0

Game Recap: MINNESOTA-Sam Bradford was out. Case Keenum wanted to start strong again after a home win versus Tampa Bay.

Neither team scored in the first quarter. Detroit got a field goal to make it a 3-0 game.

Left tackle Riley Reiff paved a lane for running back Dalvin Cook. That rushing touchdown made it a 7-3 Vikings game.

Minnesota led 7-3 at halftime. Detroit got a field goal to make it 7-6 in the third quarter. Detroit took the lead with an Ameer Abdullah touchdown 14-7. The bigger story in this game was how Ameer Abdullah and Dalvin Cook both left this game injured at running back. Cook tore his ACL and will miss the rest of the 2017 NFL Season.

Buffalo Bills 3-1-0
Atlanta Falcons 3-1-0

Game Recap: ATLANTA-Atlanta was one of two teams without a loss in the NFL. They were also the only 3-0 team playing today.

Neither team scored in the first quarter. Atlanta got a field goal in the second quarter.

Tyrod Taylor did well early in the game. Taylor went 7/11 with 110 passing yards, 1 passing touchdown, and no interception to begin the game. Taylor heaved a deep pass and threw a touchdown on the very next play to give Buffalo a 7-3 lead. What's even more impressive is that Buffalo didn't have left tackle Cordy Glenn.

Julio Jones also got injured plus Mohamad Sanu left the game injured too. Buffalo still led 7-3, but with Cordy Glenn and Shaq Lawson both being inactive it's impressive that they led Atlanta in the second quarter.

Devonta Freeman gave Atlanta a 10-7 lead. Atlanta led 10-7 at halftime.

Tre'Davious White had a 52-yard fumble recovery. That gave Buffalo a 14-10 lead. Buffalo led 14-10 after three quarter.

Buffalo got a field goal to take a 17-10 lead in the fourth quarter. Matt Ryan tied the game on a touchdown pass to Justin Hardy.

Steven Hauschka kicked two clutch field goals. Those field goals gave Buffalo a 23-17 win over Atlanta. Buffalo's defense won this game thanks to the phenomenal coverage of Tre'Davious White at field cornerback along with the clutch interceptions that Jordan Poyer provided. These two players on Buffalo's secondary stepped up for the Bills.

Pittsburgh Steelers 3-1-0
Baltimore Ravens 2-2-0

Game Recap: BALTIMORE-Both teams were expected to be 3-0 heading into this game. Both teams lost in week 3 and were hoping to avoid a two game losing streak.

Chris Boswell got a field goal in the first quarter to make it 3-0. Pittsburgh led 3-0 after one quarter.

Boswell got another field goal in the second quarter. Pittsburgh led 6-0 then Le'Veon Bell got a rushing touchdown. That gave Pittsburgh a 13-0 lead.

Pittsburgh won this game 26-9 thanks to Le'Veon Bell with his 35 carries, 144 rushing yards, and 2 rushing touchdowns. The pass rushing tandem of T.J. Watt and Bud Dupree also stepped up in a big way with both pass rushers getting by Ronnie Stanley and Austin Howard having big days. Pittsburgh has the AFC on lockdown if Bell, Watt, and Dupree play like this on a weekly basis even if Marcus Gilbert and Ramon Foster remain absent on the offensive line. One guy on Pittsburgh's offensive line who dominated today was right guard David DeCastro. This was a huge win by the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Cincinnati Bengals 1-3-0
Cleveland Browns 0-4-0

Game Recap: CLEVELAND-Myles Garrett was still out for Cleveland. The Bengals didn't have Tyler Eifert either.

Neither team scored in the first quarter. Emmanuel Ogbah got injured in the second quarter. With Garrett and Danny Shelton inactive losing Ogbah completely crippled Cleveland's defensive line plus Cleveland's secondary is lost without Haden.

Even with Andy Dalton's lousy pass protection, Cincinnati's quarterback stepped up. Andy Dalton dominated Cleveland going 25/30 with 288 passing yards, 4 passing touchdowns, and no interception. Dalton has looked like a completely different quarterback since offensive coordinator Bill Lazor took over.

Los Angeles Rams 3-1-0
Dallas Cowboys 2-2-0

Game Recap: DALLAS-Jared Goff and Dak Prescott were both quarterbacks in the 2016 NFL Draft. The number one pick headed to Dallas to face a quarterback who led Dallas to a 13-3 record as a rookie.

Both teams traded field goals in the first quarter. It was a 3-3 game after one quarter.

Dak Prescott threw a passing touchdown to Ezekiel Elliott. Dallas took a 10-3 lead. The Rams got a field goal to make it 10-6 before Elliott scored on a rushing touchdown. Dallas led 17-6.

Jared Goff threw a passing touchdown to Cooper Kupp. Dallas still led 17-13. Dak Prescott threw another touchdown to make it 24-13. Dallas led 24-16 at halftime.

The Rams got another field goal to make it 24-19. Then Jared Goff threw a touchdown pass to Todd Gurley. That gave the Rams a 26-24 lead.

Los Angeles led 26-24 after three quarters. Greg Zeurlein kicked two more field goals. Los Angeles led 32-24.

Dak Prescott drove Dallas downfield. The Rams held Dallas on the two point conversion. Los Angeles won 35-30.

There were numerous players who stepped up for the Rams today. Quarterback Jared Goff went 21/36 with 255 passing yards, 2 passing touchdowns, and no interceptions. Goff's decision making was why he was my player of the game.

Running back Todd Gurley had 23 carries for 121 rushing yards, 7 receptions, 94 receiving yards, 30 touches, 215 total yards, and 1 receiving touchdown. The biggest reason Goff and Gurley succeeded today was due to left tackle Andrew Whitworth and center John Sullivan stepping up on this offensive line with brilliant pass blocking, run blocking, and zone blocking. Kicker Greg Zeurlein was awesome with his field goals too.

Philadelphia Eagles 3-1-0
Los Angeles Chargers 0-4-0

Game Recap: LOS ANGELES-Philadelphia headed to Los Angeles hoping to start 3-1. I thought the Chargers would get their first win today. Boy was I wrong.

Philadelphia's offensive line kept Joey Bosa, Melvin Ingram, Brandon Mebane, and Corey Liuget from sacking or pressuring Carson Wentz. This offensive line also opened things up for LeGarrett Blount at running back. Carson Wentz went 17/31 with 242 passing yards, 1 passing touchdown, and no interceptions. Philip Rivers did better then Wentz going 22/38 with 347 passing yards, 2 passing touchdowns, and no interceptions. Philadelphia just did a better overall job with execution in this game.

New York Giants 0-4-0
Tampa Bay Buccaneers 2-1-0

Game Recap: TAMPA BAY-Eli Manning was hoping to avoid an 0-4 start. Jameis Winston hoped to improve to 2-0 at home.

Both teams began this game with 3 and outs. Tampa Bay had back-to-back 3 and out stops before Jameis Winston threw a 12-yard first down to Mike Evans before hitting Evans again in the end zone for a touchdown. That gave Tampa Bay a 7-0 lead in the first quarter.

New York Giants running back Paul Perkins began the Giants next drive with a 14-yard run that resulted in New York finally obtaining a first down after back-to-back three and outs. Tampa Bay's defense stepped up until Eli Manning got a third down conversion where he connected with Evan Engram. Tampa Bay's defense finally made a stop on third down. A Kendall Beckwith pass interference penalty kept the Giants drive alive.

Tampa Bay finally made a stop. Instead of going for a field goal to make it a 7-3 game, New York went for it and came away empty handed.

Winston completed a pass to Rodgers at running back. That set up a 58-yard touchdown pass to O.J. Howard to put Tampa Bay up 13-0. Nick Folk missed a chip shot extra point. Tampa Bay led 13-0.

New York was held to another 3 and out. Tampa Bay led 13-0 after one quarter.

Tampa Bay began the second quarter with a punt. New York had a first down to Sterling Shepard to begin the drive. Unfortunately, New York could not build on the 11-yard gain.

Tampa Bay began the next drive with a 35-yard completion from Jameis Winston to Cameron Brate. Unfortunately, Nick Folk missed a field goal after he missed the field goal. Tampa Bay still led 13-0.

New York finally put together a strong drive after that missed field goal by Tampa Bay. That made it a 13-3 game. New York held Tampa Bay to a 3 and out before getting the ball back.

Eli Manning completed two passes to Odell Beckham Jr. and Sterling Shepard. Those completions set up a rushing touchdown by Eli Manning to make it a 13-10 game.

Winston began with a completion to DeSean Jackson. He threw a touchdown pass to Mike Evans. That touchdown got overturned. Tampa Bay had to settle for a field goal and led 16-10 at halftime.

Tampa Bay got the ball to start the second half. Tampa Bay missed an easy field goal. It was still 16-10 Tampa Bay.

Tampa Bay was about to make a stop. Robert Ayers got caught offsides giving New York an automatic first down on third and one. New York kept the drive alive until Eli Manning threw a touchdown to Wayne Gallman. New York took their first lead of the game going ahead 17-16. This drive was a 10-play drive that took up 5 minutes and 51 seconds. New York was winning time of possession in the first two quarters and it felt like they were wearing down Tampa Bay at different points.

New York made a stop. Wayne Gallman gained some confidence until he fumbled on the next drive. New York led 17-16 after three quarters.

New York missed an easy field goal. Tampa Bay drove downfield. They went for it on fourth and two only to be stopped. Tampa Bay went for it since Nick Folk was so unreliable throughout the day.

Tampa Bay held the Giants to a 3 and out on their next drive. Winston threw a deep pass to Adam Humphries. Offsetting penalties negated a big play. Winston made up for it with a touchdown pass to Cameron Brate. Tampa Bay went for two only to see an incomplete pass. Tampa Bay took a 22-17 lead.

Eli Manning threw another third down to Evan Engram. That set up a touchdown pass to Rhett Ellison. New York took a 23-22 lead. Luckily for Tampa Bay Nick Folk saved his job with a game-winning field goal. Tampa Bay won 25-23.

Jameis Winston went 22/38 with 332 passing yards, 3 passing touchdowns, and no interceptions. Winston had a fantastic game and his game is why Tampa Bay is now 2-1.

San Francisco 49ers 0-4-0
Arizona Cardinals 2-2-0

Game Recap: ARIZONA-San Francisco was looking for their first win. Arizona was expected to rebound coming off a huge loss.

This was a pretty brutal game to watch. The scary part is it nearly ended in a tie. Both teams traded field goals until Larry Fitzgerald scored the game-winning touchdown in overtime to beat the 49ers.

Oakland Raiders 2-2-0
Denver Broncos 3-1-0

Game Recap: DENVER-Both of these teams were supposed to be 3-0 heading into this game. Both teams were hoping to avoid a 2 game losing streak.

Both defenses made huge stops on their opening drives. Both defenses held their opponents to 3 and outs early in the game.

Trevor Siemian completed some passes to Bennie Fowler for first downs. Those completions set up some big plays to tight end A.J. Derby. Denver took a 7-0 lead on the Oakland Raiders in the first quarter.

Penalties by tight end Jared Cook, center Rodney Hudson, and left tackle Donald Penn killed any momentum for Oakland on their third drive. Oakland watched Cook push their offense back thanks to a Jared Cook false start penalty, a holding penalty by Rodney Hudson, and a face mask penalty by Donald Penn. Oakland couldn't execute, but these penalties absolutely killed field position for Oakland early in the game.

Siemian went back to work. He incorporated more variety into the Broncos' offense on Denver's third drive. Siemian showcased a variety of passing plays to wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders and running plays where he handed the ball off to running back Jamaal Charles.

Denver entered a first and goal situation. This was mainly due to a pass interference penalty by Oakland Raiders free safety Reggie Nelson. Garrett Bolles jumped the snap early on third and five and that's why Denver had to settle for a field goal on their third drive. The Broncos led 10-0 instead of 14-0 thanks to that false start penalty.

Denver held Oakland to another 3 and out. The first quarter ended with King punting to Denver. Denver led 10-0 after one quarter.

Oakland needed to make adjustments in the second quarter if they had any chance of coming back after Denver had the ball for 9 minutes and 21 seconds in the first quarter. To top that off, Oakland was 0/3 in the first quarter on third down conversions.

Oakland held Denver's offense in check to start the second quarter. Their offense finally got in field goal range. Instead of kicking the field goal, Denver decided to give it to Marshawn Lynch on fourth down. That strategy backfired big time as Denver got the ball back with their 10-0 lead in check.

Denver had another chance to put this game away. Oakland's defense made a stop. Derek Carr finally lobbed a deep pass. That made this a 10-7 game with Denver only leading by a field goal.

Denver had some momentum near the end of the first half. Multiple penalties by Ronald Leary on the drive killed any momentum they had. Oakland managed to keep this game at 10-7. Denver led 10-7 at halftime.

Oakland got the ball to start the second half. A penalty by mediocre right tackle Marshall Newhouse killed their drive.

Denver got the ball back. A 40-yard run by running back C.J. Anderson put Denver in field goal range. Denver led 13-7 in the third quarter thanks to Brandon McManus.

Oakland called their first timeout in the third quarter. On the very next play Derek Wolfe sacked Derek Carr. Denver got another field goal and the Broncos led 16-7.

Oakland wasn't the same offensively once Carr left the game with 5 minutes left in the third quarter. Denver led 16-7 after three quarters. Oakland was 1/9 on third down conversions after three quarters.

Denver was in great field goal position. Denver would have taken a 19-7 lead if Brandon McManus didn't miss a chip shot field goal. This gave Oakland slight optimism even though all hope was lost when Carr left.

Denver made another defensive stop. A delay of game penalty by Trevor Siemian took Oakland out of field goal range, but Denver took up 3 minutes and 34 seconds of clock on that drive giving Oakland only 8 minutes and 30 seconds to rally back down by 9.

The good news for Raiders' fans was that E.J. Manuel finally put together a good drive that resulted in a field goal for the Raiders after some big plays early in the drive. The bad news is they killed 3 minutes and 7 seconds of clock. The ugly was that Oakland trailed Denver by 6 points 16-10 with no timeouts remaining.

Right tackle Menelik Watson got called for an offensive holding on third down. Oakland declined the penalty as Denver punted the ball to Oakland.

Oakland had 4 minutes and 16 seconds and Denver only killed 1 minute and 2 seconds due to calling 2 passing plays with the first down resulting in an incomplete pass. Denver did a poor job leaving this much time on the clock when Oakland had no timeouts remaining.

Oakland got the ball back. E.J. Manuel was building confidence off of his last drive. Manuel got the ball to the Denver 38-yard line before the two minute warning.

Oakland got a third down conversion on third and one to get a first down. Unfortunately, for the Raiders' a false start penalty made it first and fifteen from the Denver 41-yard line.

Manuel threw an incomplete pass. On the next play Justin Simmons picked off Amari Cooper for the game-winning interception to give Denver a 16-10 win. Simmons was my player of the game for this reason.

Indianapolis Colts 1-3-0
Seattle Seahawks 2-2-0

Game Recap: SEATTLE-Indianapolis got Vontae Davis back. This was the first game where we got to see the Indianapolis secondary I raved about at at 100 percent.

Blair Walsh got a field goal thanks to some big plays by Doug Baldwin. Seattle made a defensive stop, but their offense gave up a safety. Seattle led 3-2 after one quarter.

Jacoby Brissett threw a pick 6 early in the second quarter. That put Seattle ahead 10-2. Brissett rebounded with a 7 minute drive that resulted in a Colts touchdown. The Colts went for two, but didn't get it. Seattle led 10-8 following the failed attempt.

Brissett dominated on the next drive after the Colts' defense went 3 and out. Indianapolis gained a 15-10 lead over Seattle.

Seattle drove downfield for a field goal. Blair Walsh missed a field goal. Indianapolis had the ball for 11 minutes and 27 seconds in the second quarter which is why they led at halftime.

Russell Wilson finally put together a good drive. he threw a two point conversion to Doug Baldwin. Seattle took an 18-15 lead and regained the lead.

Seattle made a defensive stop. Russell Wilson had a chance to put this game away. Malik Hooker intercepted Russell Wilson. That interception by Malik Hooker put the Colts in field goal range. Indianapolis tied the game at 18.

Seattle got a touchdown to take a 25-18 lead. A fumble recovery for a touchdown by middle linebacker Bobby Wagner who was my player of the game gave Seattle a 32-18 lead. Seattle had the ball for 11 minutes and 18 seconds in the third quarter and really controlled the clock. Seattle got two more touchdowns in the fourth quarter to win 46-18.

Middle linebacker Bobby Wagner was my player of the game. Wagner had 4 solo tackles, 2 assisted tackles, 6 total tackles, 0.5 sack, 1 fumble recovery, and 1 defensive touchdown. Wagner really stood out in this game and was my player who stood out in a very forgettable game.

Washington Redskins 2-2-0
Kansas City Chiefs 4-0-0

Game Recap: KANSAS CITY-Washington heads into Kansas City. Kansas City is the only team without a loss at this point in week 4 of the NFL Season.

Terrell Pryor finally caught his first receiving touchdown from Kirk Cousins early int he first quarter. Washington got another field goal to take a 10-0 lead after one quarter.

Alex Smith threw a touchdown pass to Travis Kelce. Kelce got another pass that put the Chiefs into field goal range. Washington led 10-7 at halftime after a missed field goal. Kelce had 5 receptions, 81 receiving yards, and 1 receiving touchdown in the first half.

Kansas City got the ball to start the second half. Kansas City's drive took 10 plays along with 5 minutes and 40 seconds off the clock before Alex Smith got a rushing touchdown.

Kirk Cousins threw another touchdown on the following drive. Washington regained the lead ahead 17-14 in the third quarter. Kansas City got a field goal. It was tied 17-17 after three quarters.

Both teams continued to play good defense and traded field goals in the fourth quarter. Kansas City made the game-winning field goal to take a 23-20 lead. Justin Houston recovered a fumble for a touchdown which made it 29-20.

Tight end Travis Kelce was my player of the game for the Kansas City Chiefs. Kelce had 7 receptions, 111 receiving yards, and 1 receiving touchdown. Kelce was the biggest reason the Chiefs are 4-0 heading into week 5.
