2025 NFL Mock Draft: Final Mock 7 Rounds

Round 1 Picks 1-16

The 2025 NFL Draft feels wide open compared to last year. The top of the draft class is starting to take shape.

Chris Ransom follow @DraftUtopia Last Updated: April 24, 2025.

  1. Tennessee Titans: Cam Ward, QB, Miami FL

I had Tennessee getting the first pick back in the preseason. I also mocked a quarterback, but the candidates I considered were not the guy that would eventually become the top pick. That guy was Miami FL quarterback Cam Ward, who now appears to be the overwhelming favorite to go first overall to the Tennessee Titans. Cam Ward is seventh on my big board for the 2025 NFL Draft and the only quarterback in my top 32 as I gave Cam Ward a floor grade of 85/99 and a ceiling grade of 91/99 meaning that Ward is the only guy that I believe has the floor to be a day 1 starter, but there are two qbs in this draft that I believe have higher ceilings, but are much rawer than Cam Ward.

The 6-2 219 lb Cam Ward had 4,313 passing yards, 39 passing touchdowns, 204 rushing yards, 4 rushing touchdowns, 4,517 total yards, 43 total touchdowns, 7 interceptions, a 67.2 completion percentage, and a 88.7 quarterback rating with the Miami Hurricanes in 2024.

Cam Ward has a lot of traits you want from an NFL prospect. Can make up to five out of six progressions. Has the arm strength and throwing power. Displays the short, medium, and deep accuracy on tape.

Possesses exceptional footwork. Can make 1-step, 3-step, 5-step, and 7-step throws in the pocket. He's also incredible at throwing on the run. Can play in any type of offensive scheme whether it is a balance run first offesnse, a west coast offense, a vertical offense, or a shotgun spread offense. Teammates say he is special because of his work ethic, overall talent, leadership, and ability to be clutch. Cam Ward led Miami FL to a 9-0 regular season start before the Miami Hurricanes went 1-3 in their final four games even though all three losses were by 5 points or less.

Cam Ward went 79/90 at Miami FL's Pro Day. He really impressed NFL teams with his work ethic at his Pro Day, and it looks like the Tennessee Titans are locked in on Cam Ward at 1.

Cam Ward will have a great supporting cast in Tennessee as well as Brian Callahan the former Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator as his head coach with former Jacksonville Jaguars passing game coordinator Nick Holz as Tennessee's offensive coordinator. He will also be in a really tough AFC South Division with other young quarterbacks like C.J. Stroud, Trevor Lawrence, and Anthony Richardson.

Cam Ward has Dan Moore Jr. at left tackle, Rashawn Slater at left guard, Lloyd Cushenberry at center, Kevin Zeitler at right guard, and J.C. Latham at right tackle. This is a ok, but not great offensive line for Ward to work with as I feel both tackles can be upgraded, but Dan Moore Jr. got a 5 year contract and Latham should do better in year 2 playing his natural position at right tackle. The interior offensive line will do better while the running game with Tony Pollard and Tyjae Spears will take pressure off of Cam Ward. Calvin Ridley isn't a bad flanker wide receiver, but a secondary wide receiver is needed. Tennessee also has Chigoziem Okonkwo at tight end entering the final year of his rookie year.

Previous Pick: Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado

    Other Tennessee Titans Selections

  2. Cleveland Browns: Travis Hunter, CB, Colorado

The Cleveland Browns end up taking Travis Hunter at 2. Travis Hunter is the number one player on my big board for the 2025 NFL Draft.

Cleveland would have Myles Garrett at 4-3 right end, Maliek Collins at 4-3 defensive tackle, Shelby Harris at 4-3 defensive tackle, and Isaiah McGuire at 4-3 left end replacing Z'Darius Smith. Cleveland would also have Joe Tryon-Shoyinka as a backup 4-3 right end to Myles Garrett and Alex Wright as a backup 4-3 left end to Isaiah McGuire. Cleveland would also have Michael Hall Jr. their 2024 second round pick as a backup 4-3 defensive tackle giving Cleveland arguably one of the deepest 4-3 defensive lines in the entire NFL. Cleveland would have Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah at 4-3 right outside linebacker and Jordan Hicks at 4-3 middle linebacker in a 4-2-5 nickel defense. Julian Okwara will be the backup to Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah and Jerome Baker would be the backup to Jordan Hicks. Denzel Ward would remain the field cornerback, Travis Hunter becomes the boundary cornerback, Martin Emerson Jr. would be the nickel cornerback, Greg Newsome II would rget demoted to dime cornerback. Grant Delpit would be the starting strong safety. A free safety to replace Juan Thornhill is still needed unless one of Cleveland's backup safeties steps up.

The 6-0 213 lb Travis Hunter was a five star recruit that turned down Florida State to go to Jackson State as the number one overall recruit in the country coming out of High School. Travis Hunter transferred from Jackson State to Colorado where he played wide receiver as well as cornerback. I gave Travis Hunter an A+ in man coverage, an A+ grade in zone coverage, an A+ in press coverage, and a A+ in run stuffing.

I believe Travis Hunter can play in a cover 0, cover 1, cover 2, cover 3, or cover 4 scheme. I gave Travis Hunter a floor grade of 87/99 and a ceiling grade of 97/99 making him the safest prospect in the 2025 NFL Draft.r

Travis Hunter had 57 receptions, 721 receiving yards, and 5 receiving touchdowns as a wide receiver at Colorado in 2023. Travis Hunter also had 22 solo tackles, 8 assisted tackles, 30 total tackles, 5 deflections from pass breakups, 3 interceptions, and 2 tackles for a loss at cornerback in 2023. Travis Hunter ran a 4.40 40-yard dash this Spring in 2024.

Travis Hunter had 96 receptions, 1,258 receiving yards, 15 receiving touchdowns, 2 carries, 5 rushing yards, 1 rushing touchdown, 98 touches, 1,263 total yards, 16 total touchdowns, 25 solo tackles, 11 assisted tackles, 36 total tackles, 11 deflections from pass breakups, 4 interceptions, 1 tackle for a loss, and 1 forced fumble in 2024. Travis Hunter became the first cornerback since Charles Woodson to win the Heisman Trophy. Andrew Berry also compared Travis Hunter to Shohei Ohtani whose a baseball player which is stupid because you should only compare athetes to other athletes that play the same sport as the athlete that you are scouting.

Previous Pick: Mason Graham, DT, Michigan

    Other Cleveland Browns Selections

  3. New York Giants: Abdul Carter, 3-4 ROLB, Penn State

New York signed Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston to one year contracts. Both New York Giants GM Joe Schoen and New York Giants head coach Brian Dabboll crossed their shoulders when watching Shedeur throw at his pro day after showing so much eagerness when speaking with Shedeur Sanders at the 2025 East West Shrine Bowl. The New York Giants also sent both their wide receivers coach, their cornerbacks coach, and both coordinators to Colorado's Pro Day. This tells me a few things, one the New York Giants were negging Shedeur Sanders throughout this entire draft process.

The 6-3 248 lb Abdul Carter spent his first two years as a 4-3 right outside linebacker, but made the transition to 4-3 defensive end lining up at both 4-3 right end and 4-3 left end in 2024. Abdul Carter had 43 solo tackles, 25 assisted tackles, 68 total tackles, 23.5 tackles for a loss, 12 sacks, 9 quarterback hurries, 4 deflections from pass breakups, and 2 forced fumbles in 2024. Abdul Carter is an elite pass rusher with deadly swim moves. You want to see him rip and block shed with more power not being overly reliant on his athleticism, but he has the pass rushing, run stuffing, and coverage you want from a defensive end making him a great complimentary defensive end to Myles Garrett. Abdul Carter is third on my big board behind Travis Hunter and Will Campbell a floor grade of 87/99 and a ceiling grade of 91/99. I think Carter has the floor to be a Defensive Rookie Of The Year Candidate, but I see someone who is more of a Pro Bowl defensive end rather than a player who gets into Canton.

New York would have three lethal pass rushers with Abdul Carter, Kayvon Thibodeaux, and Brian Burns. I also discussed the possibility of Carter moving inside to 3-4 middle linebacker so all four of the New York Giants best linebackers could play on their defense. If New York drafts Abdul Carter it may signal that they do not want to use a fifth year tender on Thibodeaux too. There's a lot of moving parts here.

Previous Pick: Jaxson Dart, QB, Ole Miss

    Other New York Giants Selections

  4. New England Patriots: Will Campbell, LT, LSU

New England got their quarterback in Drake Maye in the 2024 NFL Draft. Now they get their left tackle and my number two player on my big board for the 2025 NFL Draft in Will Campbell who I have ranked behind Travis Hunter and ahead of Abdul Carter.

New England is getting my number two player as a blindside to Drake Maye. After quarterback left tackle is the most important position on the positional value pyramid. Drafting a left tackle like Will Campbell gives Drake Maye a good blindside who can have an instant impact. Drake Maye and Will Campbell are both earth signs with Maye a virgo and Campbell a capricorn born on January 6th meaning these two will click like gangbusters in New England. I hope I didn't traumatize any people by bringing up a traumatic day in US History. Anyway back to why New England needs to draft Will Campbell at 4.

The 6-6 319 lb Will Campbell has the pass blocking, pass blocking strength, pass blocking footwork, run blocking, run blocking strength, run blocking footwork, zone blocking, pancake blocking, pull blocking, and cut blocking you want from a blindside. He's a three year starter at left tackle who went from squatting 350 lbs as a freshman to 500 lbs as a sophomore to now squatting 615 lbs entering is junior season at LSU. Will Campbell is the biggest reason Jayden Daniels became the second pick in the 2024 NFL Draft outside of wide receivers Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas Jr.

Drake Maye will have an offensive line with Will Campbell at left tackle, Cole Strange at left guard, Garrett Bradbury at center, Michael Onwenu at right guard, and Morgan Moses at right tackle. Drake Maye will also have Stefon Diggs as a flanker wide receiver, Kayshon Boutte as a secondary wide receiver, Demario Douglas as a slot receiver, Javon Baker as their number four wide receiver, Kendrick Bourne as their number five wide receiver, Mack Hollins as their number six wide receiver, and Ja'Lynn Polk as their number seven wide receiver with Hunter Henry at tight end, Austin Hooper as the number two tight end, and Jaheim Bell as the number three tight end. Rhamondre Stevenson and Antonio Gibson return at running back. Drake Maye will have all the pieces to take off and click in year two starting in 2025 once Will Campbell becomes his blindside. I gave Will Campbell a floor grade of 87/99 and a ceiling grade of 96/99 making him one of the safer prospects in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Other left tackles like Kelvin Banks Jr. out of Texas, Josh Connerly Jr. out of Oregon, and Josh Simmons out of Ohio State would also click with Drake Maye too and I wouldn't mind them if that was the left tackle New England wanted to draft. Banks is a Pisces which works well with a virgo qb not as effective as a cap hough, Connerly a Scorpio, and Josh Simmons is a capricorn just like Will Campbell just like myself, so I believe either Will Campbell or Josh Simmons are the two best left tackles for New England to draft with Drake Maye from a chemistry standpoint since Caps and Virgos click like gangbusters. Buffet plus Munger, Lamar Jackson plus Zay flowers, Urnating Tree Tom Grossi, Oren and myself. Rudy Reyes and myself. I'll stop because I need to get to the next damn pick.

If Abdul Carter or Travis Hunter falls to this pick, do not be surprised if New England drafts them and trades up for Josh Connerly Jr. One guy who wouldn't click with Drake Maye is Missouri right tackle Armand Membou who played right tackle for four years in High School before playing right tackle for four years at Missouri as a side piece to Javon Foster on the Missouri Tigers offensive line. Membou wouldn't be a bad pick at 38 to mold behind Morgan Moses for a year before starting him at right tackle, but taking him in the top 10 is going to age worse than Jedrick Wills Jr. on the Cleveland Browns or Mekhi Becton on the New York Jets and I am taking a rain check on that as a fan of the New England Patriots. I could get into a rant on virgo and aries having tension, but nobody wants to hear that crap with Jacksonville picking at 5.

    Other New England Patriots Selections

  5. Jacksonville Jaguars: Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State

The 5-8 211 lb Ashton Jeanty had 156 carries, 821 rushing yards, 7 rushing touchdowns, 14 receptions, 155 receiving yards, 0 receiving touchdowns, 170 touches, 976 total yards, and 7 total touchdowns as a true freshman in 2022. Ashton Jeanty had 220 carries, 1,347 rushing yards, 14 rushing touchdowns, 43 receptions, 569 receiving yards, 5 receiving touchdowns, 263 touches, 1,916 total yards, and 19 total touchdowns as a true sophomore in 2023. Asthon Jeanty had 374 carries, 2,601 rushing yards, 29 rushing touchdowns, 23 receptions, 138 receiving yards, 1 receiving touchdown, 397 touches, 2,739 total yards, and 30 total touchdowns as a junior in 2024.

Boise State has four of their five offensive linemen returnin with Kage Casey back at left tackle, Ben Dooley back at left guard, Mason Randolph, and Boise State's starting right guard back as well. Theres a chance Ashton Jeanty improves with better quarterback play and most of his offensive line back as Boise State is projected to finish 11-1 with their only loss to Oregon in 2024. Ashton Jeanty began the year twenty first on my draft board, but moved up to sixth on my big board with a floor grade of 86/99 and a ceiling grade of 91/99.

I had Ashton Jeanty ranked ranked twenty first on my big board. Ian Cummings of Pro Football Network tweeted earlier this Summer that Jeanty was his highest graded running back since Bijan Robinson when doing summer evaluations in May. Ian ended up being right which is why Jeanty cracked the top 5 of this 2025 NFL Mock Draft. Jacksonville has Ashton Jeanty third on their big board behind Travis Hunter and Abdul Carter.

Previous Pick: Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan

    Other Jacksonville Jaguars Selections

  6. Las Vegas Raiders: Armand Membou, RT, Missouri

Las Vegas gets a right tackle. I'm not high on Armand Membou and don't view him as anything more than a backup right tackle. Someone will draft him as he's a consensus day 1 pick despite being ranked 190th on my big board with a sixth round grade as my potential for him is 84/99 with anything below 85 being a backup grade. Right now Ashton Jeanty is the guy the Raiders want at 6, but Armand Membou as a right tackle next to Kolton Miller is the backup plan. If the Raiders trade Kolton Miller and roll with two right tackles in Membou at left tackle and DJ Glaze at right tackle, Geno Smith might end up having the worst offensive tackle tandem in the entire NFL next season.

The 6-3 332 lb Armand Membou was Missouri's right tackle for the past four years after playing right tackle in High School. Las Vegas would have Kolton Miller at left tackle, Dylan Parham at left guard, Jackson Powers-Johnson at center, Alex Cappa at right guard, and Armand Membou at right tackle with the addition of the Missouri offensive tackle.

Previous Pick: Quinn Ewers, QB, Texas

    Other Las Vegas Raiders Selections

  7. New York Jets: Mason Graham, DT, Michigan

New York ends up taking Mason Graham at 7. Mason Graham is my fifth best player available.

The 6-3 296 lb Mason Graham can play 4-3 defensive tackle, 3-4 right end, 3-4 nose tackle, and 3-4 left end with his versatility. Mason Graham had 14 solo tackles, 13 assisted tackles, 27 total tackles, 2.5 tackles for a loss, 2.5 sacks, 1 quarterback hurry, and 1 deflection from a pass breakup as a true freshman in 2022. Mason Graham had 23 solo tackles, 13 assisted tackles, 36 total tackles, 7.5 tackles for a loss, 3 sacks, 3 quarterback hurries, 1 deflection from a pass breakup, and 1 forced fumble as a true sophomore in 2023. Mason Graham had 23 solo tackles, 22 assisted tackles, 45 total tackles, 7 tackles for a loss, 3.5 sacks, 3 quarterback hurries, 1 deflection from a pass breakup, and 1 kick/punt return blocked showing his presense on special teams.

Mason Graham was a big part of Michigan's success on the defensive line that last three years at defensive tackle. New York would have Will McDonald IV at 4-3 right end, Quinnen Williams at 4-3 defensive tackle, Mason Graham at 4-3 defensive tackle, Jermaine Johnson II at 4-3 left end. That would be an extremely lethal defensive line.

I gave Mason Graham a 85/99 for floor and a 96/99 for ceiling. Mason Graham does have potential to be a blue chip player in the 2025 NFL Draft and ranks fifth on my big board.

Previous Pick: Kenneth Grant, DT, Michigan

    Other New York Jets Selections

  8. Carolina Panthers: Mykel Williams, 3-4 ROLB, Georgia

Carolina gets a sack artist they desperately need. Carolina has drafted a first round player from the Southeast region in the ACC or SEC every year dating back to the 2020 NFL Draft. That isn't changing as there is a very good chance Carolina drafts either Mykel Williams or Jalon Walker at 8. Williams is in my top 10 and Walker isn't, so I'm going with Williams here.

Mykel Williams is the most complete pass rusher of those five which is why he came off the board at 8 here. Mykel Williams is a better version of Travon Walker. Mykel Williams is versatile enough to play 4-3 right end, 4-3 left end, 3-4 right outside linebacker, and 3-4 left outside linebacker with his versatility. He can be problematic for NFL left tackles and NFL right tackles.

The 6-5 265 lb Mykel Williams had 15 solo tackles, 13 assisted tackles, 28 total tackles, 6.5 tackles for a loss, 5 quarterback hurries, and 4.5 sacks as a true freshman in 2022. Mykel Williams had 11 solo tackles, 7 assisted tackles, 18 total tackles, 6.5 tackles for a loss, 4.5 sacks, 8 quarterback hurries, and 2 deflections from pass breakups as a true sophomore in 2023. Mykel Williams had 15 solo tackles, 6 assisted tackles, 21 total tackles, 8.5 tackles for a loss, 5 sacks, 3 quarterback hurries, 2 deflections from pass breakups, and 2 forced fumbles in 2024.

The numbers for Mykel Williams in terms of tackles for a loss and sacks may alarm you. He's the only guy who consistently looks dominant when rushing the quarterback, stopping the run, and dropping into coverage when watching his 2023 tape. He looked worse in 2024 outside of the SEC Championship where Mykel Williams dominated Texas left tackle Kelvin Banks Jr.

Previous Pick: Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona

    Other Carolina Panthers Selections

  9. New Orleans Saints: Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado

New Orleans gets a quarterback with the injuries to Derek Carr. Shedeur Sanders makes a lot of sense at 9.

I gave Shedeur Sanders a floor grade of 73/99 and a potential ceiling grade of 93/99 which makes this decision even more difficult because it feels like a complete stalemate. Shedeur Sanders feels like an ideal pick for the New York Jets.

The 6-1 212 lb Shedeur Sanders had 3,230 passing yards, 27 passing touchdowns, -77 rushing yards, 4 rushing touchdowns, 3,153 total yards, 31 total touchdowns, 3 interceptions, and a 69.3% completion percentage in his first season with Colorado in 11 games against TCU, Nebraska, Colorado State, Oregon, USC, Arizona State, Stanford, UCLA, Oregon State, Arizona, and Washington State in 2023. Shedeur Sanders had 4,134 passing yards, 37 passing touchdowns, -50 rushing yards, 4 rushing touchdowns, 4,084 total yards, 41 total touchdowns, 10 interceptions, a 74% completion percentage, and a 75.5 quarterback rating. Shedeur improved from a losing record to an 8-4 record in year two at Colorado. He struggled in Colorado's four biggest games of the year against Nebraska, Kansas State, Kansas at Arrowhead Stadium in an NFL environment, and he lost his only bowl game to BYU which he played in.

Shedeur Sanders has a lot of traits you want from an NFL prospect. Can make up to six progressions.

Shedeur Sanders impressed me enough to check off every box at Jackson State, but I wanted to see what type of leap he would make at Colorado before penciling him into the first round of a 2024 NFL Mock Draft before Shedeur ultimately chose to return to Colorado. Shedeur's first season at Colorado was underwhelming, but part of that was due to a poor offensive line. With Jordan Seaton, a five star left tackle enrolling as a true freshman along with wide receiver Will Sheppard joining Travis Hunter and Joe Horn Jr. at wide receiver to form a deadly wide receiver core along with a revamped offensive line at the other four positions through the transfer portal there are no excuses for Shedeur Sanders in 2024.

When I watched the quarterbacks for the 2024 NFL Draft back in July of 2023, Caleb Williams, J.J. McCarthy, and Shedeur Sanders were the three quarterbacks that checked off every box for me as Sanders impressed me with his play at Jackson State while also showing NFL traits in Colorado's Spring Game in similar fashion as Anthony Richardson. Drake Maye checked off 9/10 boxes in the Summer with a 7 step drop as his only unchecked box during the ACC Championship Game, but Tony Mario had Drake Maye as his QB1. After rewatching Maye against Appalachian State, I saw Maye make a 7 step throw against Appalachian State in 2022. Caleb Williams, Drake Maye, J.J. McCarthy, and Shedeur Sanders were my top four quarterbacks for a reason entering last year. Shedeur Sanders is now my second best quarterback, but despite being fifty eighth on my big board, he went 58/63 at Colorado's Pro Day meaning his Pro Day was better than Andrew Luck's where Luck went 63/70 in 2012.

I posted a Shedeur Sanders film cut. Shedeur Sanders looked great versus Colorado State as Joseph Potter the co-host of the Draft Utopia podcast said he had his best game of the season versus Colorado State which I agree with entirely.

Previous Pick: Luther Burden III, WR, Missouri

    Other New Orleans Saints Selections

  10. Chicago Bears: Luther Burden III, WR, Missouri

Chicago drafts another weapon for Caleb Williams with Ashton Jeanty off the board at 10. Luther Burden III is my best available weapon on the board.

The 6-0 206 lb Luther Burden III had 45 receptions, 375 receiving yards, and 6 receiving touchdowns as a true freshman in 2022. Luther Burden III had 86 receptions, 1,212 receiving yards, and 9 receiving touchdowns as a true sophomore in 2023. Luther Burden III had 61 receptions, 676 receiving yards, and 6 receiving touchdowns in 2024.

Luther Burden III was a five star recruit and one of the top two wide receivers in his recruiting class in High School. Luther Burden III can run all 30 routes on the route tree as Missouri defeated Ohio State to win the 2024 Cotton Bowl. Arizona's 2024 first round pick Marvin Harrison Jr. played for Ohio State. Luther Burden III ran a 4.38 40 yard dash in the Spring of 2024 which is the fastest 40 time among any player in the 2022 recruiting class. Luther Burden III ran a 4.41 40-yard dash at the 2025 NFL Combine.

Chicago now has Braxton Jones at left tackle, Joe Thuney at left guard, Drew Dalman at center, Jonah Jackson at right guard, and Darnell Wright at right tackle for last years number one draft pick in Caleb Williams with Caleb Williams entering year two at quarterback. Chicago has weapons for Williams in the passing game with D.J. Moore at flanker wide receiver, Rome Oduzne as the secondary wide receiver after being a slot receiver as a rookie, and Luther Burden III as the slot receiver. Cole Kmet is the starting tight end and D'Andre Swift is the starting running back.

Previous Pick: Tate Ratlidge, RG, Georgia

    Other Chicago Bears Selections

  11. San Francisco 49ers: James Pearce Jr., LE, Tennessee

San Francisco gets a second defensive end to pair with Nick Bosa. Yetur Gross-Matos cannot start next to Nick Bosa.

The 6-5 245 lb James Pearce Jr. had 18 solo tackles, 10 assisted tackles, 28 total tackles, 16 quarterback hurries, 14.5 tackles for a loss, 10 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, 1 deflection from a pass breakup, 1 interception, and 1 defensive touchdown in 2023. James Pearce Jr. had 23 solo tackles, 15 assisted tackles, 38 total tackles, 13 tackles for a loss, 10 quarterback hurries, 7.5 sacks, 1 deflection from a pass breakup, and 1 forced fumbles. James Pearce Jr. has the sack artist ability to make left tackles quiver in fear, but he also needs to develop his run stuffing and ability to drop back into coverage. He can cause havoc, but he also seems too dependent on his speed to win one-on-ones.

San Francisco will have Nick Bosa at 4-3 right end and James Pearce Jr. at 4-3 left end. San Francisco has their pass rushers, but needs to improve at right tackle, left guard, both defensive tackle spots, another cornerback, and maybe another wide receiver with their remaining picks.

Previous Pick: Walter Nolen, 3-4 RE, Ole Miss

    Other San Francisco 49ers Selections

  12. Dallas Cowboys: Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona

Dallas gets my best player on the board at 12. Getting a second wide receiver to pair with CeeDee Lamb would do wonders for quarterback Dak Prescott.

The 6-5 210 lb Tetairoa McMillan is significantly bigger than Luther Burden III. He's also made more one-handed catches on film. He can also run all 30 routes on the route tree like Luther Burden III. Tetairoa McMillan ran a 4.50 40 yard dash this Spring, but could get that down to a 4.41 with training. The fact that Luther Burden III's projected 40 time is much better than McMillan's is what separates the two despite McMillan being the bigger target. Tetairoa McMillan ran a 4.38 at Arizona's Pro Day leading up to the 2025 NFL Draft.

Tetairoa McMillan had 39 receptions, 702 receiving yards, and 8 receiving touchdowns as a true freshman in 2022. Tetairoa McMillan had 90 receptions, 1,402 receiving yards, and 10 receiving touchdowns as a true sophomore in 2023. Tetairoa McMillan had 84 receptions, 1,319 receiving yards, and 8 receiving touchdowns as a junior in 2024.

Previous Pick: Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State

    Other Dallas Cowboys Selections

  13. Miami Dolphins: Will Johnson, CB, Michigan

Miami gets a cornerback to pair with Jalen Ramsey. Drafting Will Johnson whose fourth on my big board makes a ton of sense for Miami at 13.

The 6-2 194 lb Will Johnson got an A+ grade in man coverage, zone coverage, press coverage, and run stuffing when watching him on film. I gave him a floor grade of 86/99 and a ceiling grade of 96/99. Will Johnson might be the most complete cornerback I've seen since both Derek Stingley Jr. and Ahmad "Sauce" Gardner entered the 2022 NFL Draft with A+ grades in all three coverage categories for a cornerback.

Will Johnson had 25 solo tackles, 2 assisted tackles, 27 total tackles, 2 tackles for a loss, 6 deflections from pass breakups, and 3 interceptions as a nickel cornerback as a freshman in 2022. Will Johnson moved from nickel to field cornerback following the departure of D.J. Turner and had 20 solo tackles, 7 assisted tackles, 27 total tackles, 1 tackle for a loss, 8 deflections from pass breakups, and 4 interceptions on Michigan's 15-0 National Championship team as a sophomore in 2023. Will Johnson had 12 solo tackles, 2 assisted tackles, 14 total tackles, 3 deflections from pass breakups, 2 interceptions, which were both pick sixes, 1 quarterback hurry, and 1 tackle for a loss in 2024.

Will Johnson ran a 4.44 40-yard dash int the Spring of 2024. Will Johnson can play in a cover 0, cover 1, cover 2, cover 3, or cover 4 scheme. Marvin Harrison Jr. and Rome Oduzne did have some success against Will Johnson, but Johnson pushed those guys on plays. He could work on chasing the ball instead of the player, but he does a superb job locking down players. Will Johnson is fourth on my big board and is easily the best possible player that Jacksonville Jaguars can draft here at 5 as he fills their biggest defensive need at boundary cornerback.

  14. Indianapolis Colts: Kelvin Banks Jr., LT, Texas

Indianapolis gets a left tackle at 14. I have a friend that's a Colts fan that loves Kelvin Banks Jr. If the Indianapolis Colts do not want to extend Bernard Raimann at left tackle, drafting Kelvin Banks Jr. here and reloading at the blindside position makes a lot of sense for the Indianapolis Colts.

The 6-5 315 lb Kelvin Banks Jr. has the pass blocking, pass blocking strength, pass blocking footwork, run blocking, run blocking strength, run blocking footwork, zone blocking, pancake blocking, pull blocking, and cut blocking you want from a blindside. He's a three year starter at left tackle that took the left tackle job from Christian Jones right out of the gate as a true freshman after being a five star recruit.

Indianapolis would have Kelvin Banks Jr. at left tackle, Quenton Nelson at left guard, Tanor Bortolini at center, Matt Goncalves at right guard, and Braden Smith at right tackle. That would be a good offensive line for Anthony Richardson to work with since three of those offensive linemen wold be on rookie contracts for at least three years giving the Colts the flexibility to renew Nelson and Smith when their contracts are up.

  15. Atlanta Falcons: Jalon Walker, 3-4 ROLB, Georgia

Atlanta gets a sack artist. I'm not a big fan of Jalon Walker and have him graded lower than any player mocked in the first round. I'd probably give a team an F grade for drafting him in the first round, but the reality is Atlanta needs a 3-4 right outside linebacker and Jalon Walker is the best overall fit of any remaining player on the board at 15.

The 6-1 243 lb Jalon Walker had 37 solo tackles, 23 assisted tackles, 60 total tackles, 10.5 tackles fora loss, 7 quarterback hurries, 6.5 sacks, and 2 deflections from pass breakups in 2024. Jalon Walker isn't a guy who impressed me on tape, but a lot of mock drafts have him ahead of Mykel Williams who I believe is the superior prospect.

  16. Arizona Cardinals: Emeka Egbuka, WR, Ohio State

Arizona added four defensive starters in Free Agency. I don't trust Michael Wilson as the number two wide receiver next to Marvin Harrison Jr., so Emeka Egbuka my eleventh best player in the 2025 NFL Draft ends up on the Arizona Cardinals at 16.

The 6-1 202 lb Emeka Egbuka can run all 30 routes on the route tree. Emeka Egbuka had 74 receptions, 1,151 receiving yards, and 10 receiving touchdowns in 2022. Emeka Egbuka only had 41 receptions, 515 receiving yards, and 4 receiving touchdowns as a junior in 2023. Emeka Egbuka had 81 receptions, 1,011 receiving yards, and 10 receiving touchdowns in 2024.

Emeka Egbuka ran a 4.30 flat in the Spring of 2024 and also did a 36.5 inch vertical coming out of High School. Those athletic traits make Emeka Egbuka the third best wide receiver in the 2025 NFL Draft. Now he's re-united with Marvin Harrison Jr. in Arizona. This gives Kyler Murray four years of Marvin Harrison Jr. Emeka Egbuka, and Trey McBride at tight end. Paris Johnson Jr. would enter year three as the starting left tackle too making Emeka Egbuka the third consecutive Ohio State Buckeye drafted by the Arizona Cardinals in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft.

I posted a film cut of Ohio State wide receiver Emeka Egbuka versus Notre Dame. Emeka Egbuka did well against Notre Dame's cornerbacks.

Previous Pick: Benjamin Morrison, CB, Notre Dame
