Alex Faedo Guides Florida To College World Series Final

Florida Gators pitcher Alex Faedo dominated with 11 strikeouts in 7 1/3 innings pitched. He injured his calf near the end of the bottom of the seventh.
Faedo told the trainers to massage his calf and kept going. He got one more out before the manager pulled him. Faedo only surrendered 3 hits in 7 1/3 innings and did not give up a run. He even told the reliever he'd buy him a meal. Faedo communicated with his infielders when he was in a 2 out jam with 2 runners on in the fifth inning and the infield stepped up.
Florida's pitcher showed the authority of an MLB veteran. Detroit, who took Faedo at 18 has a really bright future once Alex Faedo makes the MLB.
