Josh Allen Redeems Himself With Strong Bowl Game

Wyoming beat Central Michigan thanks to Josh Allen putting together his best game of the year versus Central Michigan who featured two NFL corners. Josh Allen began the game 6/7 with 104 passing yards, 3 passing touchdowns, and no interceptions. He wasn't spectacular after that, but didn't need to be with Wyoming getting off to such a big lead early in the game. Wyoming won 37-14

Kansas State Defeats UCLA In Cactus Bowl

Kansas State won this game mainly due to Josh Rosen sitting out. Kansas State defeated UCLA 35-17.



Duke Crushes Northern Illinois

Duke crushed Northern Illinois 36-14. Duke doesn't have a lot of 2018 prospects, but this Duke team did an awesome job coming together as a team to help Duke win this bowl game.


Utah Defeats West Virginia

Utah defeated West Virginia 30-14. Utah's defensive line with Lowell Lotulelei and Kylie Fitts did an awesome job defending for Utah.




Appalachian State Blanks Toledo

Appalachian State shutout Toledo 34-0. This performance really reflects poorly on Toledo quarterback Logan Woodside since he didn't get a Senior Bowl invite.


Army Defeats San Diego State In Armed Forces Bowl

Army defeated San Diego State 42-35. Rashaad Penny dominated on the ground for San Diego State. Army came together as a team though and did more to win.


South Florida Wins Shootout

South Florida defeated Texas Tech 38-34. South Florida won an offensive shootout in this bowl game for the second year in a row thanks to quarterback Quenton Flowers. Flowers and Shimonek will both get the chance to impress NFL Scouts at the 2018 NFL Shrine Game.

Temple embarrassed Florida International 28-3. This statement win was a good bowl win for Temple in the 2017 Bad Boy Mowers Bowl.




Louisiana Tech Destroys SMU

Louisiana Tech destroyed SMU 51-10. Sonny Dikes didn't impress in his debut with SMU. This was also Courtland Sutton's last game with SMU and Louisiana Tech's corners dominated this game keeping Sutton in check by limiting him to 6 receptions for 68 receiving yards.




Florida Atlantic Destroys Akron

Florida Atlantic destroyed Akron 50-3. This game was such a blowout that Lane Kiffin got a 10-year extension. He also gets a majority of his players back next season.




Middle Tennessee State Wins Camellia Bowl

Middle Tennessee State defeated Arkansas State 35-30. The play of their team was impressive considering most favored Arkansas State to win.


Marshall Now Has Longest Winning Streak For Bowl Games In FBS

Marshall now has the longest winning streak for a bowl team in the FBS at 6. If someone besides Nick Stevens was playing quarterback, Michael Gallup would have balled out big time to help Colorado State win. Chase Litton played reckless, but did enough for Marshall to get by 31-28.


Boise State Destroys Justin Herbert

Justin Herbert was tested without Tyrell Crosby at left tackle or Royce Freeman at running back. Boise State won thanks to right outside linebacker Leighton Vander Esch. He was a key component in Boise State winning. Archie Lewis also looked good at right tackle.


Georgia State Upsets Western Kentucky

Georgia State upset Western Kentucky 27-17. Their team came together and did a great job exposing Western Kentucky quarterback Mike White.


Troy Wins New Orleans Bowl

The New Orleans Bowl didn't feature as many NFL prospects as last year. Brandon Silvers had a phenomenal day through the air leading Troy to a 50-30 win in the 2017 New Orleans Bowl over North Texas.
