2017 Senior Bowl: Day 1 Recap

Davis Webb disappointed. He's gone from being a day 3 pick to a day 2 pick. Colorado's Sefo Liufau is now being considered the top senior in an underwhelming quarterback group. All of these quarterbacks were scrubs compared to Carson Wentz and Dak Prescott.

O.J. Howard was the biggest winner from day 1. He pretty much addressed all the questions to his game. Howard is a first round lock now. He could be picked anywhere between picks 13 where Arizona picks and 22 where Miami picks.

South team defensive tackles Carlos Watkins and Montravius Adams dominated. Both are expected to be first round picks now.

Everyone else had solid, but failed to stand out. It's really too early to read into the first day, but a lot of players didn't do much to help their stock.

A lot of the cornerbacks disappointed. Chidobe Awuzie got injured so he couldn't practice. Players like Cameron Sutton, Brendan Langley, and Desmond King who we expected to stand out. These guys did so bad that they convinced scouts they are day 2 picks, but they also put their stock in a lot of jeopardy.

The big winners at cornerback were Tre'Davious White who was the only cornerback who looked like a first rounder. Then you had Damontae Kazee and Jourdan Lewis who also impressed.

Kutztown left guard Jordan Morgan impressed while Adam Bisnowaty disappointed. Bisnowaty lacks the strength to be a tackle, but may do well inside at guard. Both should still get drafted ahead of Conor McDermott who did not have success at left tackle or right tackle yet dominated at guard.
