Game Recap: NEW ENGLAND-Whoever won this game would go to Super Bowl 52. It was a challenger versus champion matchup.


Tom Brady went 6/6 with 57 passing yards on his opening drive. Jacksonville had three consecutive plays for a loss. New England had to settle for a field goal. New England took 5 minutes and 39 seconds.


Leonard Fournette got a gain of two yards. Fournette completed a screen pass for a first down. Fournette gained three rushing yards. Blake Bortles threw another short pass to Leonard Fournette. Allen Hurns who returned from an injury got a first down. Bortles began this game 3/3 with 16 passing yards. Kyle Van Noy with great coverage. That pass was the first incompletion setting up third and eight. Jacksonville would have to punt it to New England.


Tom Brady threw a completion to Brandin Cooks. That completion resulted in a first down. That completion allowed Brady to start 7/7 with 68 passing yards. Dion Lewis gained four rushing yards. Danny Amendola with a handoff on the play. New England was stopped on a third down conversion once again.


Blake Bortles helped Jacksonville execute a first down with this throw. Jacksonville got another first down. New England led 3-0 after one quarter of play.


Blake Bortles threw a touchdown pass to Marcedes Lewis. Blake Bortles began the game 8/10 with 82 passing yards, 1 passing touchdown, and no interceptions. Jacksonville took a 7-3 lead with 14:15 left in the second quarter.

Cam Robinson got called with a false start penalty. That made it first and fifteen. Bortles threw a first down to Deon Grant and then threw a first down to Allen Hurns for 27-yards. Bortles began the game 0/2, but is now 8/8 with 116 passing yards, 1 passing touchdown, and no interceptions. Jacksonville got stopped. Then Leonard Fournette got a third down conversion. Bortles threw a completion to T.J. Yeldon. T.J. Yeldon ran a counter. Fournette got the first down. Fournette ran for a touchdown on this play. Fournette ran it for a touchdown and took up 6 minutes and 7 seconds off the clock.


Tom Brady threw a deep pass to Rob Gronkowski. Brady went back to Rob Gronkowski. This was the third consecutive passing attempt to Rob Gronkowski. Tom Brady got sacked again.


New England made a defensive stop to limit what Jacksonville did. New England came out and moved the football as Tom Brady guided New England downfield. James White got a rushing touchdown. Jacksonville led 14-10 at halftime.


Jacksonville got the ball to start the second half. They were stopped on the play. Jacksonville got two third down conversions going to keep the drive alive. Jacksonville got a field goal and took a 17-10 lead.


Tom Brady finally got a third down conversion to Chris Hogan. Jacksonville kept their lead.


New England made a defensive stop. They set up a fourth and thirteen where Jacksonville punted it.


Jacksonville led 17-10 after three quarters of play. Jacksonville kicked a field goal. Jacksonville led 20-10.


New England rallied downfield. A fumble kept New England scoreless. Their defense stepped up and made a huge stop. Tom Brady connected with Danny Amendola on New England's next drive. Jacksonville led 20-17.


New England stopped Jacksonville. They got the ball back. Tom Brady threw it to Brandin Cooks. A pass interference penalty by Jalen Ramsey gave New England an automatic first down. Jacksonville's defense forced two more incompletions. Jacksonville forced New England to punt it.


Jacksonville got the ball back. Jacksonville punted it back to New England after a great defensive series by New England.


Tom Brady began the drive with a completion to James White. Tom Brady threw another completion to Danny Amendola. Myels Jack was injured on the play. Tom Brady scrambled for a first down. Marcel Dareus got injured on the next play. Tom Brady threw another touchdown pass to Danny Amendola. New England led 24-20.


Jacksonville got the ball back. Blake Bortles threw a completion. That made it second and two. Dede Westbrook caught that pass. The Patriots broke up a pass intended for Leonard Fournette. Blake Bortles got sacked on second down and that took this game to the two minute warning.


Jacksonville had to deal with a third and ninetten situation. That set up a fourth down. Stephon Gilmore broke up a pass on fourth down.


New England ran it to Dion Lewis. Jacksonville made a stop and burned their first timeout. Jacksonville made a stop and that set up a third down situation. Dion Lewis ran for a first down. That would end Jacksonville's season. New England won this game 24-20. New England repeats as AFC Champions.


New England would head to Minnesota where they would face the Minnesota Vikings or the Philadelphia Eagles. The passing game for New England was ke in this game.


Quarterback Tom Brady went 26/38 with 290 passing yards, 2 passing touchdowns, and no interceptions. Wide receiver Brandin Cooks had 6 receptions for 100 receiving yards. Danny Amendola had 7 receptions, 84 receiving yards, and 2 receiving touchdowns. Tom Brady did an awesome job getting Cooks and Amendola involved especially after Rob Gronkowski got injured.


New England will need Gronkowski in two weeks. For now, New England has a chance to be the first team to repeat since the New England Patriots teams that won Super Bowl 38 and Super Bowl 39.

Versus
1. Philadelphia Eagles 14-3-0


Game Recap: PHILADELPHIA-The winner of this game would get to face the defending Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots in Super Bowl 52. Neither Case Keenum or Nick Foles entered the year as a starter.


Case Keenum threw a touchdown pass to Kyle Rudolph on his first drive. Minnesota took a 7-0 lead. Minnesota's defense stopped Philadelphia and the Vikings got the ball.


Case Keenum threw an interception to Patrick Robinson. The game was tied 7-7 after one quarter of play.


LeGarrette Blount ran it in. Philadelphia took a 14-7 lead. Alshon Jeffery caught a touchdown pass. That made it a 21-7 game with Philadelphia ahead by 14. Nick Foles continued to click late in the first half. Philadelphia got a field goal and led 24-7 at halftime.


Philadelphia won this game 38-7. Quarterback Nick Foles went 26/33 with 352 passing yards, 3 passing touchdowns, and no interceptions. Right tackle Lane Johnson dominated in pass protection too. Nick Foles got Philadelphia to Super Bowl 52 where they will face the New England Patriots in a rematch of Super Bowl 52.
