Indianapolis Colts 6-5-0
Houston Texans 7-4-0

Game Recap: HOUSTON-Indianapolis has a chance to sweep the Houston Texans. Both teams needed this win to seize control of the AFC South Division.

Indianapolis took up 4 minutes and 15 seconds on their opening drive only to punt it to the Houston Texans. Houston took up 4 minutes and 17 seconds on their opening drive before punting the football.

Indidanapolis took up 3 minutes and 16 seconds on their second drive before punting the football. This game was scoreless 0-0 after one quarter of play thanks to a lack of offensive execution early in the game.

Houston got a field goal in the second quarter. Houston led 3-0. After Indianapolis punted for the third time, Houston had a chance to build on their lead. Instead, Deshaun Watson threw an interception to Kenny Moore.

Jacoby Brissett capitalized off of Kenny Moore's interception. Brissett ran into the end zone for a touchdown.

Deshaun Watson threw a touchdown pass to DeAndre Hopkins. Houston regained a 10-7 lead on their next drive.

Indianapolis kicked a field goal. This game was tied at 10-10 at halftime.

Indianapolis got a touchdown in the third quarter. Indianapolis led 17-10. Houston got a field goal in the third quarter. Indianapolis led 17-13 after three quarters of play.

Deshaun Watson threw a touchdown pass in the fourth quarter to DeAndre Hopkins. Houston won this game 20-17.

Most people will give Deshaun Watson credit for this win. You can definitely make the arguement that Watson won this game due to his deep ball accuracy. Watson only went 19/30 with 298 passing yards, 2 passing touchdowns, and 1 interception. Will Fuller had over 100 receiving yards while DeAndre Hopkins caught both receiving touchdowns from Watson.

I will argue that Watson's offensive line won him this game with their pass protection. You saw Laremy Tunsil at left tackle, Max Scharping at left guard, Nick Martin at center, Zack Fulton at right guard, and Tytus Howard at right tackle come together as a team limiting Indianapolis to 1 sack and doing well enough to enable Houston's entire running game to 99 total yards.

Denver Broncos 3-8-0
Buffalo Bills 8-3-0

Game Recap: BUFFALO-It's a battle of the Allen's Brandon Allen versus Josh Allen. Buffalo is expected to win this game at home.

Buffalo got a field goal in the first quarter. Buffalo led 3-0 after one quarter of play.

Buffalo got a field goal in the second quarter. Buffalo led 6-0 at halftime.

Buffalo began the third quarter with an 8-play drive that took up 2 minutes and 7 seconds. Josh Allen threw a touchdown pass to Cole Beasley.

Denver got a field goal. Denver made it a 13-3 game. That remained the score after three quarters of play.

Buffalo won 20-3 thanks to a touchdown in the fourth quarter. Buffalo is 8-3 with five games to go with wild card one being theirs to lose.

Buffalo won this game because of their duo of Devin Singletary and Frank Gore. Singletary had 21 carries for 106 rushing yards. Gore surpassed Barry Sanders for third in career rushing yards.

New York Giants 2-9-0
Chicago Bears 5-6-0

Game Recap: CHICAGO-Evan Engram was out again. Chicago has to win this game at home otherwise their season is most likely over.

Saquon Barkley dropped an easy pass on third down. That led to a fourth down.

This game was not a fun game to watch. Chicago barely prevailed 19-14 thanks to the defensive play of Khalil Mack. Nate Solder had his worst game of the year at left tackle for the New York Giants.

While New York could take Andrew Thomas to bolster the offensive line in the 2020 NFL Draft, I feel like they are more inclined to select Chase Young out of Ohio State or Jerry Jeudy out of Alabama at wide receiver.

Pittsburgh Steelers 6-5-0
Cincinnati Bengals 0-11-0

Game Recap: CINCINNATI-James Conner and JuJu Smith-Schuster were inactive from this game with injuries. A.J. Green is still not back from his injury.

Mason Rudolph threw a pick to Shaun Williams. This interception excited many Bengals fans including Jason Bantle who leads our pickem pool.

Bantle also happens to be a Bengals fan. Speaking of Steelers VS Bengals this is the first meeting between both teams without Ben Roethlisberger or Andy Dalton since 2003 when Tommy Maddox faced Jon Kitna in Carson Palmer's rookie year when Palmer was on the bench.

Neither team scored in the first quarter. It was 0-0 heading into the second quarter.

Pittsburgh got a field goal in the second quarter. Cincinnati gained the lead when former Pitt Panther, Tyler Boyd put the Bengals ahead. Cincinnati led this game 7-3 at halftime.

Mason Rudolph got benched. Devlin Hodges came in and threw a 79-yard touchdown pass to James Washington. Cincinnati got a field goal. This game was tied 10-10 after three quarters of play.

Pittsburgh got two field goals in the fourth quarter. They barely won this game and Devlin Hodges is getting all the credit despite going 5/11 thanks to a few big plays that change teh momentum of this game.

Miami Dolphins 2-9-0
Cleveland Browns 5-6-0

Game Recap: CLEVELAND-Cleveland has won two in a row. They hope to extend their streak while putting the brawl behind them.

Baker Mayfield threw a 32-yard pass to Nick Chubb. That led to huge first down.

Cleveland took care of business against Miami. Jarvis Landry stuck it to Miami in the most literal sense possible.

Wide receiver Jarvis Landry had 10 receptions, 148 receiving yards, and 2 receiving touchdowns on 13 targets. Running back Nick Chubb had 21 carries, 106 rushing yards, and 1 rushing touchdown.

Baker Mayfield went 24/34 with 327 passing yards, 3 passing touchdowns, and 1 interception. Mayfield delievered. Kareem Hunt had a rushing touchdown. Cleveland's offense did everything they could to step up and win without Myles Garrett.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers 4-7-0
Atlanta Falcons 3-8-0

Game Recap: ATLANTA-Tampa Bay headed to Atlanta. Both 3-7 teams need this win.

Matt Ryan began this game with a strong opening drive. Atlanta got a field goal.

Jameis Winston threw an interception on his first drive. Atlanta could not capitalize on their second drive. Atlanta had a chance to make this 14-0 after two drives. Instead, they only led 3-0.

Jameis Winston rebounded on his following drive. Winston threw a 71-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Chris Godwin. Tampa Bay led 7-3.

Jameis Winston threw his second interception in the first quarter. Atlanta capitalized off of this interception with a touchdown. Qadree Ollison put Atlanta ahead. Atlanta led 10-7 after one quarter of play.

Jameis Winston threw another touchdown to Chris Godwin. Then after Atlanta failed to score, Winston threw a touchdown pass to Vita Vea on a trick play. Tampa Bay led 19-10 thanks to two consecutive missed extra points.

Tampa Bay took their 19-10 lead heading into the second half. Tampa Bay got another touchdown and they missed a third consecutive extra point. Tampa Bay led 25-10 after that and won this game 35-22.

Only two players helped Tampa Bay win this game. Wide receiver Chris Godwin who had 7 receptions, 184 receiving yards, and 2 receiving touchdowns.

Nose tackle Vita Vea had a 1 reception, 1 sack, 1 tackles for a loss, and 1 receiving touchdown. Tampa Bay improved to 4-7 thanks to this road win over Tampa Bay.

Carolina Panthers 5-6-0
New Orleans Saints 9-2-0

Game Recap: NEW ORLEANS-New Orleans is pretty close to locking up this division. They just need to win today and then win again on Thanksgiving in Atlanta in order to lock up the`NFC South Division.

Latavius Murray ran for a 26-yard rushing touchdown. New Orleans took a 7-0 lead. Later in the first quarter, Drew Brees threw a touchdown pass to Tre'Quan Smith. New Orleans led 14-0.

Kyle Allen threw a touchdown pass to D.J. Moore. Carolina missed the extra point. New Orleans led 14-6 after one quarter of play.

New Orleans got a field goal to start the second quarter. New Orleans led 17-6. Carolina ended the first half on a 9-0 run. A missed two point conversion was the only thing that kept this game from being tied 17-17 at halftime.

Drew Brees threw a 20-yard touchdown pass to tight end Jared Cook Jr. New Orleans took a 24-15 lead in the third quarter. After Carolina got a field goal, New Orleans made it a 31-18 game thanks to Drew Brees firing a touchdown pass to Michael Thomas. Christian McCaffrey got a rushing touchdown. New Orleans led 31-24 after three quarters of play.

Drew Brees threw an interception in the fourth quarter. Kyle Allen capitalized on the next drive with a second touchdown pass to D.J. Moore. Drew Brees attempted to go for it on fourth down, but a fourth down stop led to Carolina getting the ball back. A missed field goal by Carolina along with a last second field goal by Will Lutz for the New Orleans Saints were the two things that led to New Orleans barely winning this game 34-31.

Wide receiver Michael Thomas was my player of the game. Michael Thomas had 10 receptions, 101 receiving yards, and 1 receiving touchdown on 11 targets. Thomas torched Carolina's cornerback tandem of James Bradbury and Donte Jackson with ease. Those corners have talent, but Thomas is an elite receiver who has a top 5 quarterback in Brees getting him the football.

Seattle Seahawks 9-2-0
Philadelphia Eagles 5-6-0

Game Recap: PHILADELPHIA-Philadelphia did not have Lane Johnson at right tackle. Nelson Agholor, Alshon Jeffrey, and Jordan Howard were all dealing with injuries. Seattle did not have Jadeveon Clowney at 4-3 right end.

Philadelphia's defense was at full health. They deserve all the credit in the world for how they played defensively.

Their offense could not execute due to quarterback Carson Wentz being injured throughout this game along with the other turnovers they had on the offensive side of the ball.

Seattle won this game 17-9. The biggest reason Seattle won this game was due to the play of running back Rashaad Penny. Penny had 14 carries, 129 rushing yards, and 1 rushing touchdown. This was Penny's statement game in 2019.

Detroit Lions 3-7-1
Washington Redskins 2-9-0

Game Recap: WASHINGTON-Detroit does not have Matthew Stafford. Tickets for this game went for as low as 4 dollars.

This game was close. Washington prevailed 19-16 in a pretty meaningless game. The only reason Washington won this game was due to the teamwork of their defensive backs. Josh Norman, Fabian Moreau, and Landon Collins basically did so well in coverage that they made FedEx Field hell for Jeff Driskel.

Oakland Raiders 6-5-0
New York Jets 4-7-0

Game Recap: NEW YORK-Oakland headed to New York. Derek Carr faced Sam Darnold in New York.

This was a pretty one-sided game. Pretty would be an understatement.

On my predictions page for week 12, I stated that the New York Jets matched up well with Oakland because if Kelvin Beachum and Brandon Shell can give Darnold time he can carve Oakland. I also stated defensively that Bell matched up well versus Oakland's linebackers along with the fact that the safety tandem of Jamal Adams and Marcus Maye can make the Waller and Moreau combo obsolte. C.J. Mosley played at Alabama, the same school rookie Josh Jacobs went to. Quinnen Williams is a nose tackle that can make life hell for Rodney Hudson.

New York won this game 34-3. The Jets simply executed in this game while Oakland performed so poorly that Derek Carr got benched.

Quarterback Sam Darnold was my player of the game. Sam Darnold went 20/29 315 passing yards, 2 passing touchdowns, and no interceptions.

Jacksonville Jaguars 4-7-0
Tennessee Titans 6-5-0

Game Recap: TENNESSEE-Jacksonville headed to Tennessee. I expected Nick Foles to come through, but the Titans surprised me in this game.

The first quarter of tis game was scoreless. Tennessee led 7-3 at halftime.

Tennesee had a league best 28 points in the third quarter for 2019. The Titans led 35-11 after three quarters of play.

Tennessee defeated Jacksonville 42-20. Running back Derrick Henry had 19 carries, 159 rushing yards, and 2 rushing touchdowns. Quarterback Ryan Tannehill also did well going 14/18 with 259 passing yards, 2 passing touchdowns, 2 rushing touchdowns, 4 total touchdowns, and no interceptions. Tennessee's offensive line stepped up too limiting Jacksonville to 1 sack as the offensive tackle tandem of left tackle Taylor Lewan and right tackle Jack Conklin stepped up.

Yannick Ngakoue got the only sack of this contest. Most Jaguars fans will point out how bad Nick Foles is, but the Titans cornerback trio of Malcolm Butler, Logan Ryan, and Adoree Jackson had an unfair advantage against Foles receivers. Also Tennessee did their part to win this game by making Jacksonville's defensive line obsolete. If you make the Jaguars defensive line obsolete you can carve their linebackers not named Myles Jack as well as their secondary if you avoid turnovers.

Dallas Cowboys 6-5-0
New England Patriots 10-1-0

Game Recap: NEW ENGLAND-Dallas did not have Leighton Vander Esch at middle linebacker. The second year pro out of Boise State.

New England won this game 13-9 despite going 3/13 on third down conversions. Stephon Gilmore covered Amari Cooper on 26 of his 30 plays. Cooper had 0 receptions for 0 receiving yards. Cooper did have a catch on third down, but the ball hit the ground as the NFL officials overturned the call. Gilmore even had an interception and validated why the Patriots have a championship caliber defense.

One of the officials gave Belichick a massage on the tummy. Everytime Dallas appeared to be in position to build momentum to take the lead the officials bailed out New England.

New England won, but this was not a good win despite Isaiah Wynn's strong performance at left tackle. Tom Brady and Julian Edelman were playing through injuries in sloppy 39 degree weather. You also have to take into account that Mohamed Sanu and Phillip Dorsett were injured along with the lack of third down covnersions by New England's offense.

Dallas deserves a lot of credit defensively for holding New England to 13 points. At the end of the day, while I see Dallas as a team that could win the NFC if they are fully healthy, the fact that they could not beat the Patriots at nearly 100 percent with LVE as the only big loss tells me a lot about this team.

Dallas has the roster of a Super Bowl contender on both sides of the ball. However, I'd argue the Divisional Round is their ceiling because they lost to New Orleans without Brees and they also would lose to San Francisco. If Seattle somehow wins the NFC West, Dallas would play the 49ers in the wild card and probably lose.

Green Bay Packers 8-3-0
San Francisco 49ers 10-1-0

Game Recap: SAN FRANCISCO-San Francisco did not have Joe Staley at left tackle or Dee Ford at 4-3 right end. To be honest, I was sort of nervous that the Packers would win.

San Francisco outscored Green Bay 23-0 in the first half before winning 37-8. The 49ers dominated this game to the point where they asserted themselves along with the New Orleans Saints as one of the top 2 teams in the NFC.

Tight end George Kittle caught 6 receptions on all 6 targets for 129 receiving yards and 1 receiving touchdown despite playing with an ankle injury. The resilency that Kittle showed spoke volumes as San Francisco remains in the drivers seat for home field in the NFC at 10-1.

Back in the preseason I said New England would get homefield and that San Francisco and New Orleans would be the top 2 seeds in the NFC. It's starting to look like that's how it will play out on paper, but the way the 49ers have won this year in convincing fashion against quality opponents stands out more than how New England has won by the slightest margain of victory thanks to their defense and special teams.

Baltimore Ravens 9-2-0
Los Angeles Rams 6-5-0

Game Recap: LOS ANGELES-Last year when the Chiefs faced the Rams, Kansas City wore red and the Rams wore yellow. This time its purple versus yellow with the Ravens heading to Los Angeles to take on the Rams.

Jared Goff failed to execute on his first drive thanks to Baltimore's cornerback trio which matches up very favorably against these Los Angeles Rams wide receivers. Lamar Jackson threw a touchdown pass on his first drive.

Baltimore dominated this first half with a 28-6 lead. Lamar Jackson went 9/9 with 167 passing yards, 3 touchdowns, and a 146.5 passer rating in the first half. I was wrong when I said Lamar Jackson wasn't the MVP after he went 9/20 against Seattle.

It was 42-6 heading into the fourth quarter. Baltimore had a touchdown on every drive.

Baltimore won this game 45-6. It was all about Lamar Jackson. Lamar went 15/20 with 169 passing yards, 5 passing touchdowns, and no interceptions.

I want to ask the Rams why they did not bench Jared Goff for Blake Bortles. Baltimore though is 9-2 after a road win in Los Angeles which was the worst Rams loss in the history of the LA Memorial Coliseum.
