Chris Ransom Last Updated: November 28, 2017.

Minnesota Vikings 9-2-0
Detroit Lions 6-5-0

Game Recap: DETROIT-Minnesota headed to Detroit with a chance to gain a three game lead on the NFC North. This was a must win game for Detroit.

Case Keenum had a passing touchdown and a rushing touchdown in the first quarter that gave Minnesota a 13-0 lead. Minnesota did an awesome Thanksgiving touchdown celebration. Everson Griffen also asked what he should name his baby after sacking Stafford. Minnesota led 13-0 after one quarter. Minnesota deserves a lot of credit for executing on both sides of the ball in the first quarter.

Detroit got a field goal in the second quarter. Keenum threw a second passing touchdown to Kyle Rudolph. Minnesota took a 20-3 lead.

Matthew Stafford completed a 41-yard pass to Kenny Golladay. That opened things up for Marvin Jones. Detroit got a touchdown. Minnesota led 20-10 at halftime.

Latavius Murray made it a 27-10 game by running into the end zone. Matthew Stafford nearly made it a 27-17 game with a John Travolta audible, but the play was overturned. Detroit had to settle for a field goal. Minnesota led 27-13. Detroit settled for a second field goal. Minnesota led 27-16 after three quarters of play.

Marvin Jones caught his second receiving touchdown. This one was in double coverage with Minnesota having 12 men on the field. Minnesota only led by 4 27-23, but Stafford got injured on the play. This would be the peak of Detroit's scoring. I thought they would come back in and win. After Minnesota got a field goal to make it 30-23, Detroit returned a field goal fo r a touchdown. The field goal was negated due to an offsides penalty.

Detroit had fewer penalties. The penalties absolutely killed them. Case Keenum was my player of the game for Minnesota. Keenum went 21/30 with 282 passing yards, 2 passing touchdowns, and no interceptions.

Los Angeles Chargers 5-6-0
Dallas Cowboys 5-6-0

Game Recap: DALLAS-Tyron Smith returned at left tackle. Sean Lee was still inactive for Dallas.

Neither team scored in the first quarter. Los Angeles got a field goal in the second quarter. Los Angeles led 3-0 at halftime.

Phillip Rivers threw a touchdown. Los Angeles missed the extra point. Rivers threw another touchdown. Los Angeles led 16-0 after three quarters of play.

Dallas finally ended their no touchdown streak after ten quarters. They couldn't get the two point conversion. Los Angeles led 16-6.

Rivers threw a touchdown to Keenan Allen on a 42-yard connection. Los Angeles missed another extra point. Los Angeles led 22-6. Interceptions by cornerbacks Desmond King who had a pick 6 and Casey Heyward sealed the Cowboys fate. Los Angeles won 28-6.

Both teams are 5-6 now. Quarterback Philip Rivers is easily the player of this game. Rivers went 27/33 with 433 passing yards, 3 passing touchdowns, and no interceptions. Wide receiver Keenann Allen had 11 receptions, 172 receiving yards, and 1 receiving touchdown. Los Angeles dominated defensively as well with the Joey Bosa and Melvin Ingram tandem getting so much pressure on Dak Prescott opening things up for Corey Liuget at defensive tackle You also saw their two corners Casey Heyward and Desmond King make critical interceptions.

Excellent team win for the Los Angeles Chargers today. My only issue with the Chargers was their kickers as the Chargers brought in two different kickers both missed at least three different extra points.

New York Giants 2-9-0
Washington Redskins 5-6-0

Game Recap: WASHINGTON-It's hard to believe that both of these teams have losing records this late in the season. Both NFC East teams need to win tonight. Washington didn't have left tackle Trent Williams, left guard Shaun Lauvao, center Spencer Long, and backup center Chase Roullier.

Josh Norman broke up a pass on third down. Washington got the ball back. Neither team scored in the first quarter and both teams traded field goals with the score being 3-3 at halftime.

Both quarterbacks avoided turnovers. Kirk Cousins finally threw a touchdown to Jamison Crowder to put Washington ahead in the third quarter. Washington took a 10-3 lead. Kirk Cousins had a chance to expand their lead. Kirk Cousins threw a pick 6 to Janoris Jenkins and right tackle Morgan Moses got injured. Thanks to that pick 6 the game was tied 10-10. Both teams were tied at 10 after three quarters.

Josh Doctson caught a receiving touchdown. That gave Washington a 17-10 lead. Washington got a field goal to make it a 20-10 game.

Washington won 20-10. Wide receiver Jamison Crowder had 7 receptions, 141 receiving yards, and 1 receiving touchdown. Crowder was a big reason Washington won.

Buffalo Bills 6-5-0
Kansas City Chiefs 6-5-0

Game Recap: KANSAS CITY-Buffalo doesn't have Kelvin Benjamin today. Kansas City will active Darrelle Revis who they signed earlier this week against the New York Jets in week 13.

Tyrod Taylor threw a touchdown to Zay Jones. Buffalo led 7-0 after one quarter. Buffalo got two field goals in the second quarter and Kansas City got one.

Buffalo led 13-3 at halftime. Tyrod Taylor wisely got the start and went 15/24 with 121 passing yards, 1 passing touchdown, and no interceptions. Alex Smith on the other hand went 4/11 with 41 passing yards. Kansas City was 0/5 on third down conversions. Buffalo won the first down battle 13-1 in the first half. Kansas City should seriously consider starting Patrick Mahomes their 2017 first round pick. Also it's a miracle that Buffalo only leads Kansas City by 10 at halftime.

Alex Smith began the third quarter 5/5 with a touchdown drive including a huge third down conversion to Travis Kelce which set up Smith's touchdown pass to Albert Wilson. Buffalo led 13-10. Buffalo got a field goal to make it a 16-10 game. Buffalo led 16-10 after three quarters of play. Kansas City had the ball for 10 minutes and 12 seconds in the third quarter and only came away with a touchdown on their opening drive in the second half. Kansas City was 1/8 on third down conversions after three quarters.

Buffalo went 0/3 on third down conversions in the fourth quarter. Alex Smith had a third down conversion to Tyreek Hill late in the game after he returned to the game injured. An unnecessary roughness penalty by E.J. Gaines put Kansas City at the Buffalo 38-yard line. Alex Smith got one more third down conversion attempt. He was intercepted.

Buffalo won this game because they wisely opted to start Tyrod Taylor over Nate Peterman. I'm going to praise Taylor before giving the Chiefs quarterback advice. Tyrod Taylor went 19/29 with 183 passing yards, 1 passing touchdown, and no interceptions. Taylor won the turnover battle versus Alex Smith. Kansas City went 2/12 on third down conversions. Smith missed a wide open Kareem Hunt on at least three different plays. It is time to put Patrick Mahomes in. Good job giving Tyrod the starting job back Buffalo. Taylor never should have been benched in the first place.

Tennessee Titans 7-4-0
Indianapolis Colts 3-8-0

Game Recap: INDIANAPOLIS-Marcus Mariota heads to Indianapolis after a Thursday Night loss to the Steelers. This is a huge game for Tennessee.

Tennessee got a field goal. They took a 3-0 lead. Tennessee got another field goal. Tennessee led 6-0 after one quarter.

Adam Vinatieri got a field goal to make it 6-3. Then Marcus Mariota threw a pick to Rashaan Melvin. Melvin's interception allowed the Colts to get the ball back. Jacoby Brissett made some nice throws to Marlon Mack and wide receiver Donte Moncrief who made a damn near impossible catch to put the Colts into field goal range to tie the game at 6-6.

Marcus Mariota threw a second interception. This one was to Temple rookie Nate Hairston their fifth round pick who got his first career interception before second round pick Quincy Wilson. Frank Gore ran for a 13-yard rushing touchdown. Indianapolis led this game 13-6 at halftime.

Adam Vinatieri got his third field goal in the third quarter. That made it a 16-6 game.

Marcus Mariota threw a touchdown pass to Delanie Walker. Tennessee's tight end performed CPR hoping to bring their chances of winning back to life. Indianapolis led 16-13 after three quarters of play.

Demarco Murray got a rushing touchdown. That gave Tennessee a 20-16 lead. Tennessee won 20-16. Brian Orakpo had 1.5 sacks today. He frustrated Anthony Costanzo. Costanzo has now allowed 7.5 sacks in 2017 which was how many he gave up when the Colts went 2-14 the year they won the Andrew Luck sweepstakes. Tennessee had 8 sacks today against the Colts. Their defense stepped up in a big way with Orakpo leading the way.

Cleveland Browns 0-11-0
Cincinnati Bengals 5-6-0

Game Recap: CINCINNATI-Cleveland is looking for their first win. They head to Cincinnati needing a win and a whole lot of help to delay an inevitable elimination from the 2018 NFL Playoffs. A Bengals win and Ravens win on Monday Night Football eliminates the Browns.

Cleveland got a field goal. That gave the Browns a 3-0 lead. Andy Dalton began the game 3/4 with 32 passing yards, 1 passing touchdown, and no interceptions. Tyler Boyd scored on Jamar Taylor. That gave Cincinnati a 7-3 lead. Cincinnati led 7-3 after one quarter.

Randy Bullock defeated Zane Gonzalez in the field goal challenge during the second quarter 3-1. Cleveland sports fans hate the numbers 3-1, and will hate those numbers even more thanks to Randy Bullock. Bullock scored a hat trick of field goals to give Cincinnati a 16-3 lead before Gonzalez made it a 16-6 game. Cincinnati led 16-6 at halftime.

Andy Dalton threw a touchdown pass to Tyler Kroft. Cincinnati led 23-6. Kizer avoided turnovers. Cleveland had to settle for another field goal. Cincinnati led 23-9.

Dalton now has 2 passing touchdowns and interceptions. Joe Mixon also has 73 rushing yards and 51 receiving yards through three quarters of play. Cincinnati led 23-9 after three quarters of play.

DeShone Kizer had a rushing touchdown. Cincinnati led 23-16. Joe Mixon sealed Cleveland's fate with a rushing touchdown. Cincinnati won this game 30-16. Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon was the player of this game. Joe Mixon had 23 carries, 114 rushing yards, 3 receptions, 51 receiving yards, 26 touches, and 1 rushing touchdown.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers 4-7-0
Atlanta Falcons 7-4-0

Game Recap: ATLANTA-Ryan Fitzpatrick is 2-0 as Tampa Bay's starting quarterback. He would start again for Tampa Bay today.

Both teams traded field goals. That tied the game at 3-3. It was tied 3-3 after one quarter.

Julio Jones caught two receiving touchdowns in the second quarter. One from Matt Ryan and one on a trick play from Mohamed Sanu gives Atlanta a two touchdown lead. Atlanta led 17-3. Both teams traded field goals after that. Atlanta led 20-6 at halftime.

The running game took over in the second half. Tevin Coleman made it a 27-6 game. Atlanta led 27-6. Peyton Barber ran for a meaningless garbage time touchdown to make it a 27-13 game. Atlanta led 27-13 after three quarters of play.

Peyton Barber struck again with another rushing touchdown. Atlanta led 27-20.

Atlanta sealed Tampa Bay's chances at a comeback with one more Tevin Coleman rushing touchdown. It was a 14-yard scamper which allowed Atlanta to gain a 14 point lead over Tampa Bay. Atlanta won 34-20.

Tevin Coleman's 19 carries 97 rushing yards, and 2 rushing touchdowns helped put Tampa Bay away. My player of the game for Atlanta was wide receiver Julio Jones though. Jones had 12 receptions, 253 receiving yards, and 2 receiving touchdowns.

Miami Dolphins 4-7-0
New England Patriots 9-2-0

Game Recap: NEW ENGLAND-Miami headed to New England. This was the first meeting between the two teams in 2017. Last year Jimmy Garoppolo defeated Ryan Tannehill in this stadium filling in for Tom Brady during his suspension. Neither one of those quarterbacks suited up with Matt Moore facing Tom Brady. New England also got Malcolm Brown back at defensive tackle this week.

Rex Burkhead had a rushing touchdown to give New England a 7-0 lead. Tom Brady threw a touchdown to Rob Gronkowski. New England led 14-0 after one quarter.

Tom Brady wasn't focused on a fumbled snap which led to Miami's only touchdown in the first half thanks to a Rashad Jones fumble recovery for a touchdown. Brady rebounded with a strong drive and a touchdown pass to Rex Burkhead.

Miami got a field goal to make it a 21-10 game. Tom Brady threw a pick. Miami had momentum and had a chance to make this a one score game. Matt Moore threw an interception to Stephon Gilmore. New England led 21-10 at halftime.

Danny Amendola fumbled a punt, but New England was lucky to recover it. Tom Brady threw a touchdown pass to Rob Gronkowski. That touchdown made it a 28-10 game. New England led 28-10 after three quarters of play.

Miami made a great fourth down stop to begin the fourth quarter. I'm not sure it would mean anything though. Kenny Stills made a huge catch on a fourth down conversion. Moore threw another big completion. Miami struck back and got a touchdown. New England led 28-17. I predicted a New Engladn 28-17 win with the Dolphins covering the 16.5 point spread.

Waddle went down at right tackle. Tom Brady botches a snap before recovering it and Cameron Fleming gave up a sack to Cameron Wake. That third down stop gave Miami the ball back.

Elandon Roberts sacked Matt Moore on first down. Moore sacked again, but a flag was down. Jesse Davis got called with holding on Kyle Van Noy. Van Noy left the game injured. Elandon Roberts was pissed and hit Miami's third down target with a lot of intensity. Miami threw an incomplete pass that looked like a Jarvis Landry catch.

Tom Brady threw a touchdown pass to Brandin Cooks. That gave New England a 35-17 lead. New England won 35-17 and barely covered the spread.

Tight end Rob Gronkowski was my player of the game. Gronkowski had 5 receptions, 82 receiving yards, and 2 receiving touchdowns. New England won by 18 and Gronkowski scored 14 of those points. Tom Brady did through 4 passing touchdowns, but he also had some blunders and it wasn't a 300 passing yard outing. I would have gone with Dion Lewis if he had a rushing touchdown to compliment his 112 rushing yards on 15 carries.

Chicago Bears 3-8-0
Philadelphia Eagles 10-1-0

Game Recap: PHILADELPHIA-Chicago headed to Philadelphia. The battle between Mitchell Trubisky and Carson Wentz who both of these teams traded up for at second overall in the last two NFL Drafts took place.

Carson Wentz was balling early. Philadelphia led 7-0 after one quarter. Philadelphia led 24-0 at halftime with Wentz throwing all three passing touchdowns in the first half.

Chicago got a field goal in the third quarter. Philadelphia led 24-3 after three quarters of play.

Nelson Agholor recovered a fumble in the end zone. That gave Philadelphia a 31-3 lead.

Philadelphia won 31-3. They are now 10-1 and can clinch the NFC East with a win next week in Seattle or with Dallas losing just one more game. Philadelphia practically has this division secured and the only scenario where they would not win the NFC East involves Dallas winning out and Philadelphia losing out since they beat 5-6 Washington twice in head-to-head play.

Quarterback Carson Wentz was my player of the game. Wentz went 23/36 with 227 passing yards, 3 passing touchdowns, and no interceptions. Tight end Zach Ertz had 10 receptions, 103 receiving yards, and 1 receiving touchdown. I got the Wentz photo ready for the site in the third quarter and Ertz deserves an honorable mention just for playing that awesome with Carson Wentz.

Carolina Panthers 8-3-0
New York Jets 4-7-0

Game Recap: NEW YORK-Cam Newton heads to New York. Both of these teams had two weeks to prepare for this one with both teams having bye weeks in week 11.

Both teams traded field goals in the first quarter. It was 3-3 after one quarter of play.

Cam Newton got a rushing touchdown in the second quarter, but the extra point was no good. Carolina led 9-3. Graham Gano made up for it with a field goal. Carolina led 12-3.

Josh McCown threw back-to-back touchdowns to Roby Anderson. One was a touchdown which made it a 12-10 game where Carolina led 12-10 at halftime. The other touchdown took place in the third quarter to make it a 17-12 game. Carolina threw a touchdown, but failed to get a two point conversion. Carolina led 18-17 after three quarters of play.

New York got the ball at the Carolina Panthers 1-yard line thanks to a defensive pass interference penalty on Daryl Worley. A Jets touchdown got reversed. New York settled for the field goal and took a 20-18 lead.

Carolina went three and out. Josh McCown got the ball back with a chance to build on momentum. Luke Kuechly returned a fumble for a touchdown. Cam newton ran it in for two points. Carolina took a 26-20 lead on New York.

New York went three and out. Kaelen Clay returned a 60-yard punt return for a touchdown. Carolina missed the two point conversion and led 32-20.

Josh McCown threw a third touchdown to make it 32-27. Cam Newton helped Carolina get two third point conversions to put them in field goal range to make it a 35-27 game.

Carolina won 35-27. Middle linebacker Luke Kuechly was my player of the game. Kuechly had 4 solo tackles, 5 assisted tackles, 9 total tackles, and 1 34-yard fumble recovery for a touchdown which counted as a defensive touchdown for Carolina. Once again Kuechly was incredible for Carolina. This is the third time in the past four Panther games where Kuechly was the featured player on the site dating back to when their four game winning streak began following the week 7 loss to Chicago.

Seattle Seahawks 7-4-0
San Francisco 49ers 1-10-0

Game Recap: SAN FRANCISCO-San Francisco had two weeks to prepare for Seattle. Without Richard Sherman you'd think they put up a fight.

Neither team scored in the first quarter. Bobby Wagner intercepted C.J. Beathard less than a minute into the second quarter. That set up an easy 2-yard rushing touchdown for quarterback Russell Wilson. San Francisco got a field goal though. Seattle led 7-3 at halftime.

San Francisco got another field goal in the third quarter which made it 7-6. Nick Vannett the former Ohio State tight end gets a touchdown. Wilson puts Seattle ahead 14-6. Seattle led 14-6 after three quarters of play.

Russell Wilson threw a touchdown pass to Jimmy Graham in the fourth quarter. Seattle kicked a field goal. That made it 24-6.

Things got so brutal for San Francisco that they put Jimmy Garoppolo in the game. Jimmy Garoppolo ended the game 2/2 with 19 passing yards, 1 passing touchdown, and no interceptions. Garoppolo was perfect against Seattle so now there is no reason not to start him next week in Chicago where he grew up playing for Eastern Illinois before being New England's 2014 second round pick. San Francisco sent their 2018 second round pick to New England.

Seattle won 24-13. Middle linebacker Bobby Wagner had 7 solo tackles, 1 assisted tackle, 8 total tackles, and 1 interception. Wagner was my player of the game for Seattle.

New Orleans Saints 8-3-0
Los Angeles Rams 8-3-0

Game Recap: LOS ANGELES-Drew Brees beat Jared Goff as a rookie in New Orleans. Now the Saints would march into Los Angeles to take on the Rams. Robert Woods was injured meaning Eastern Washington rookie Cooper Kupp had to be Goff's number one target today. The tandem of Kupp and Sammy Watkins had to step up today.

Pharoh Cooper had a nice return. Jared Goff began the game with the ball. He went 4/4 with 49 passing yards and 1 passing touchdown on the drive. Los Angeles led 7-0 thanks to a 7-play 59-yard drive that took up 4 minutes and 7 seconds. Goff went to wide receiver Sammy Watkins, running back Todd Gurley, and tight end Gerald Everett before going back to Watkins to wrap up the drive.

Brees had a nice completion to Michael Thomas. Drew Brees got sacked by Aaron Donald. Robert Quinn got by left tackle Terron Armstead for the strip sack. Armstead made up for it by recovering the fumble. New Orleans punted.

Goff threw his fifth consecutive completion to Cooper Kupp. Kupp had 9 receiving yards on the catch. Goff 5/5 with 58 passing yards, 1 passing touchdown, and no interceptions to begin the game before throwing his first incomplete pass. Kenny Vacarro's face mask penalty put the Rams at the New Orleans 43-yard line. Cameron Jordan saved the drive by sacking Jared Goff for a 10-yard loss. Goff threw a 19-yard pass to Cooper Kupp making it third and one before Todd Gurley was stopped.

Los Angeles called another timeout before going for it on fourth and one. Kenny Vacarro got called for defensive holding. Goff got sacked on first down. He overthrew Cooper Kupp on the incompletion setting up third and seventeen. A four yard completion to Todd Gurley made a 54-yard field goal easier to make from 50-yards. Los Angeles watched Greg Zeurlein make the kick. Los Angeles led 10-0 with this 11-play drive taking up 5 minutes and 28 seconds.

Alvin Kamara's 74-yard run made it a 10-7 game. Los Angeles led 10-7 after one quarter of play. Los Angeles had the ball for 11 minutes and ten seconds in the first quarter. New Orleans only had the ball for three minutes and fifty seconds in the first quarter. Which is about tree fiddy. I'm kidding.

New Orleans was 0/1 on third down conversions in the first quarter. That continued into the second quarter. They would punt the ball to the Los Angeles Rams.

Jared Goff had a very underwhelming opening drive in the second quarter. Goff had an intentional grounding penalty and underthrew Cooper Kupp before Von Bell sacked him on third down forcing the Rams to punt it back to the Saints. Los Angeles went 1/4 on third down conversions in the first quarter and that Von Bell sack made them 1/5.

Drew Brees with another failed third down conversion attempt making New Orleans 0/3 on third down conversions. The Rams got the ball back. Jared Goff connected with Cooper Kupp twice. Goff underthrew Kupp again. He threw a touchdown to his other rookie receiver Josh Reynolds out of Texas A&M to cap off the drive. Los Angeles took a 17-7 lead.

New Orleans finally got a third down conversion. Drew Brees threw a 13-yard pass to Michael Thomas. Brees followed that up with a 21-yard completion to Alvin Kamara. That took this to the two minute warning. That set up a field goal opportunity for New Orleans after they failed on the next third down conversion. Los Angeles led 17-10 at halftime with Cooper Kupp gaining 10-yards on third and twenty. Los Angeles was 2/6 on third down conversions in the first half and New Orleans was 1/5 with this game being pretty even.

Alec Ogltree got called with defensive pass interference. Drew Brees overthrew Ted Ginn Jr. on a third down conversion. After New Orleans made a three and out, Brees would get another third down conversion to Michael Thomas. Terron Armstead had a holding penalty. That kept the Saints from moving the football on their second drive in the third quarter.

P.J. Williams was called with a pass interference penalty 48-yards out from the spot of the ball. The Rams had it at their own 25-yard line and got to take over at the New Orleans 27-yard line after that penalty. That allowed Los Angeles to get easy points. After a defensive stop, Jared Goff had two big plays to cap off the third quarter including a 38-yard completion to Tyler Higbee Los Angeles led 20-10 after three quarters of play. Higbee's catch put Los Angeles in field goal range. Los Angeles led 23-10.

A Drew Brees touchdown pass to Mark Ingram got nullified due to a penalty. That forced New Orleans to kick a field goal to make it a 23-13 game.

P.J. Williams made up for his idiotic pass interference penalty by intercepting Goff at a critical moment in the fourth quarter. New Orleans could not capitalize. Cooper Kupp made two clutch catches that put the Rams in field goal range to make it a 26-13 game. Los Angeles led 26-13 with 2:27 left in the game and New Orleans was out of timeouts.

Drew Brees threw a 15-yard touchdown pass to Alvin Kamara. That made it 26-20. New Orleans attempted an onside kick, but the Rams got the ball back. Los Angeles won 26-20. Wide receiver Cooper Kupp had 8 receptions for 116 receiving yards. This was a breakout game for Kupp.

Jacksonville Jaguars 7-4-0
Arizona Cardinals 5-6-0

Game Recap: ARIZONA-Blaine Gabbert faced his former team. The Jaguars spent a 2011 first round pick on Blaine Gabbert before replacing him with Blake Bortles.

Arizona got the only points in the first quarter. Arizona led 3-0 after one quarter of play.

Jacksonville had it at the Arizona 34-yard line. A Karlos Dansby fumble recovery gave Arizona the ball back in the second quarter.

Phil Dawson got another field goal for Arizona. This was largely due to a roughing the passer penalty on Dante Fowler that took Arizona from their own 40-yard line to the Jacksonville 45-yard line. Blaine Gabbert threw a 14-yard completion to J.J. Nelson giving Arizona the ball at the Jacksonville 31-yard line.

Blaine Gabbert threw another touchdown. Arizona took a 13-0 lead.

Jacksonville had the ball for 9 minutes and 22 seconds in the second quarter. A last second field goal to end the first half was the only points out of the first half. Arizona led 13-3 at halftime.

Arizona got another field goal thanks to a Jacksonville penalty. A horse collar grab by Myles Jack put Arizona in field goal range for Phil Dawson to do his thing. Arizona had a 16-3 lead over Jacksonville in the third quarter.

Blake Bortles ran for a rushing touchdown on fourth and one. That made it a 16-10 game. Arizona led 16-10 after three quarters of play. Jacksonville was 1/9 on third down conversions through the first three quarters of play.

Yannick Ngakoue forced a fumble. Calais Campbell took Blaine Gabbert's fumble recovery to the end zone. Jacksonville took a 17-16 lead over Arizona in the fourth quarter.

Blaine Gabbert threw a 52-yard touchdown pass. Arizona also got the two point conversion. Arizona took a 24-17 lead.

Blake Bortles ran it in for a 17-yard rushing touchdown. That made this a 24-24 game.

Blaine Gabbert had a chance to win before he was intercepted by Barry Church. Blake Bortles was in the same position before he was intercepted by Tyrann Mathieu. Arizona won on a last second field goal. Phil Dawson was my player of the game as he went 4/4 on field goals and went 1/1 on the extra point. Mathieu also deserves an honorable mention for his interception.

Denver Broncos 3-8-0
Oakland Raiders 5-6-0

Game Recap: OAKLAND-Paxton Lynch made his first start in 2017 after Trevor Siemian and Brock Osweiler were benched. Lynch had some experience in 2016 filling in for an injured Trevor Siemian.

Neither team scored in the first quarter. Denver went 0/3 on third down conversions with Paxton Lynch in at quarterback. Even after Michael Crabtree and Aqib Talib went at it.

Paxton Lynch connected with Devontae Booker for a touchdown on the first play of the second quarter on a third down conversion. The play was nullified with Booker down at the Oakland 1-yard line. Paxton Lynch threw an interception to Navarro Bowman which negated any potential points on the drive and it was his fault since he made a bad decision. Denver was not the same team psychologically after that.

Derek Carr connected with Amari Cooper. Oakland took a 7-0 lead in the second quarter.

Paxton Lynch with another failed third down conversion. Marshawn Lynch ran it into the end zone. Oakland led 14-0 at halftime with Denver 1/6 on third down conversions in the first half. Oakland had the football for 10 minutes and 58 seconds as well. They deserve a lot of credit for controlling the tempo in the first half.

Derek Carr threw a touchdown pass to make it a 21-0 game. Paxton Lynch got injured following Denver's attempt on third down.

Oakland led 21-0 after three quarters of play. Trevor Siemian did well in the fourth quarter. Oakland won 21-14 and Denver looks like a team that needs to draft a quarterback in the 2018 NFL Draft. Derek Carr was my player of the game going 18/24 with 253 passing yards, 2 passing touchdowns, and no interceptions. Derek Carr played well enough to keep Oakland in the thick of the AFC West.

Green Bay Packers 5-6-0
Pittsburgh Steelers 9-2-0

Game Recap: PITTSBURGH-Neither team had their right tackle. Green Bay didn't have Bryan Bulaga at right tackle with him on injured reserve. Pittsburgh didn't have Marcus Gilbert due to a 4-game suspension. Joe Haden was also injured at cornerback he will be back for the playoffs though even though he's probably not going to play again during the regular season.

Martavis Bryant began this game with a huge return. Ben Roethlisberger began Pittsburgh's drive with a 12-play drive that took up 6 minuts and 46 seconds of play. Ben Roehtlisberger went 2/3 on third down conversions and threw a touchdown to Xavier Grimble on Pittsburgh's opening drive. Boswell missed the extra point. Pittsburgh led 6-0.

Stephon Tuitt sacked Brett Hundley on third down and got by Jahri Evans. Evans recovered the fumble on Tuitt's strip sack. An illegal use of the hands penalty by Artie Burns negated Tuitt's big play on third down. Brett Hundley threw a touchdown pass to Randall Cobb. Cobb got by Artie Burns in coverage.

Ben Roethlisberger threw an interception to Damarious Randall. Hundley threw a touchdown pass to running back Jamaal Williams. Williams ran a streak route by Artie Burns. Burns got beat in zone coverage once again. Green Bay led 14-6 after one quarter of play.

Ben Roethlisberger got both Antonio Brown and Martavis Bryant involved on his next drive. Thanks to Ben and his weapons, Pittsburgh tied this game at 14-14 at halftime.

Green Bay watched Brett Hundley reclaim the lead for Green Bay with a 55-yard pass to DaVante Adams. Green Bay led 21-14.

Blake Martinez intercepted Ben Roethlisberger. If Green Bay had made the 57-yard field goal on this play they would have had control of this game ahead 24-14 with the lead heading into the fourth quarter. Instead Pittsburgh would tie the game at 21 on their next series. The score was 21-21 after three quarters of play.

Ben Roethlisberger got sacked by Mike Daniels. He got some quick passes off to Le'Veon Bell for first downs. That set up a 33-yard strike to Antonio Brown. Pittsburgh took a 28-21 lead.

Brett Hundley put together a drive that took up 6 minutes and 40 seconds. That tied the game at 28. Green Bay held Pittsburgh to a three and out. Pittsburgh's defense did the same. Then Pittsburgh drove the ball downfield. Chris Boswell kicked the game-winning field goal. Pittsburgh won at the last second 31-28.

Brett Hundley had a valiant effort going 17/26 with 245 passing yards, 3 passing touchdowns, and no interceptions. If he can build on this game for Green Bay and finish strong down the stretch don't count out Green Bay just yet. Antonio Brown was the player of this game. Brown had 10 receptions, 169 receiving yards, and 2 receiving touchdowns in Pittsburgh's win. Le'Veon Bell had 183 total yards as well so Ben, Bell, and Brown the 3 B's step up for Pittsburgh.

Houston Texans 4-7-0
Baltimore Ravens 6-5-0

Baltimore and Houston traded field goals once again the fourth quarter. Baltimore led 20-16 at this point. Baltimore got another field goal to make it 23-16. Then Houston watched Tom Savage throw another interception.

Terrell Suggs was my player of the game for Baltimore. His 2 sacks and a forced fumble helped Baltimore win in a big way.
