Game Recap: BALTIMORE-Cleveland was looking for their first win on Thursday Night Football. Cody Kessler has 5 passing touchdowns and 1 interception on the season heading into this game.


Neither team scored in the first quarter. It was 0-0 heading into the second quarter. Joe Flacco threw an interception to Brien Boddy-Calhoun. That interception placed Cleveland at their own one yard line after Baltimore was at the Cleveland 34-yard line late in the first quarter.


Justin Tucker kicked a field goal in the second quarter. That gave the Ravens a 3-0 lead.


Cody Kessler threw a touchdown pass. That gave the Cleveland Browns a 7-3 lead. Cleveland led 7-3 at halftime.


Justin Tucker kicked a field goal in the third quarter. Cleveland led 7-6 after that field goal.


Joe Flacco threw a passing touchdown to Waller. That gave the Ravens a 13-7 lead. Joe Haden intercepted Flacco to prevent the Ravens from gaining a 20-7 lead.


Joe Flacco threw another touchdown on the Ravens next drive. That gave the Ravens a 21-7 lead after three quarters.


Flacco threw a final touchdown in the fourth quarter to give the Ravens a 28-7 win. Baltimore looked like they got a safety, but the call stood. Cleveland falls to 0-10 while Baltimore is now 5-4.


C.J. Mosley had 4 solo tackles, 1 assisted tackle, 5 total tackles, 1 tackle for a loss, and 2 quarterback hurries in the Ravens win. Mosley returned from an injury and really stepped up on defense for the Ravens tonight making him my player of the game. Terrell Suggs, Eric Weddle, and Ladarius Webb had dominant performances as well while Jimmy Smith really limited what Cleveland's receivers did in coverage at cornerback.




Houston Texans 6-3-0
Versus
Jacksonville Jaguars 2-7-0


Game Recap: JACKSONVILLE-Houston came off a bye week. Jacksonville needed to win this game to save their season.


Blake Bortles threw a pick 6 to Kareem Jackson. Bortles redeemed himself after he threw a touchdown to Julius Thomas.


Lamar Miller ran for a huge chunk of rushing yards. That set up a Texans passing touchdown that gave the Texans a 14-7 lead.


Houston led 14-7 after one quarter. The Jaguars kicked a field goal to make it a 14-10 game. Houston led 14-10 at halftime.


Brock Osweiler threw a passing touchdown in the third quarter. That gave the Texans a 21-10 lead.


Jacksonville kicked a field goal in the fourth quarter. That made it a 21-13 game.


Nick Novak kicked a field goal in the fourth quarter. That gave Houston a 24-13 lead.


Blake Bortles threw a passing touchdown to Allen Robinson. The Jaguars went for a two point conversion and got it.


Houston won 24-21. Kareem Jackson's pick 6 was huge. Jackson did an awesome job at boundary cornerback on Allen Hurns limiting Hurns to 2 receptions for 13 receiving yards.





Denver Broncos 7-3-0
Versus
New Orleans Saints 4-5-0


Game Recap: NEW ORLEANS-Bill Vinovich officiated this game. Denver was 0-7 in games officiated by Vinovich heading into today.


Trevor Siemian threw a touchdown pass. It was originally ruled an incomplete pass before the call was overturned. Denver led 7-0 in the first quarter and that ws the score after one quarter.


Denver kicked a field goal in the second quarter. That made it 10-0 in the second quarter. New Orleans kicked a field goal to make it 10-3 at halftime.


Drew Brees threw a passing touchdown to Willie Snead. That made it a 10-10 game in the third quarter. Willie Snead caught another touchdown from Drew Brees. That gave the Saints a 17-10 lead heading into the fourth quarter.


Trevor Siemian threw a touchdown in the fourth quarter. That tied the game at 17.


Denver got more points in the fourth quarter. Denver watched Brandon McManus kick a field goal to give the Broncos a 20-17 lead.


Michael Thomas the rookie wide receiver had two fumbles in the fourth quarter. Denver got another field goal to make it 23-17.


New Orleans tied it at 23. Justin Simmons blocked the extra point and Will Parks returned that extra point to make it 25-23.


Free safety Darian Stewart was my MVP in this game for Denver. Stewart had 2 solo tackles, 2 interceptions, and 1 fumble recovery. Stewart was a huge reason why Denver won today to improve to 7-3 while New Orleans fell to 4-5.




Los Angeles Rams 4-5-0
Versus
New York Jets 3-7-0


Game Recap: NEW YORK-Bryce Petty made his first career start today. The Rams defense was finally back at full health for the first time since week 3.


The Rams kicked a field goal in the first quarter. Los Angeles led 3-0, but Bryce Petty began the game 2/2 with 60 passing yards. The Rams led 3-0 after one quarter.


The Jets got a touchdown to take a 6-3 lead in the second quarter. New York led 6-3 after a missed extra point. The Jets led 6-3 at halftime.


The Rams got a field goal in the third quarter. The game was tied at 6 heading into the fourth quarter.


The Rams kicked a field goal in the fourth quarter. Greg Zeurlein gave the Rams a 9-6 lead. Bryce Petty drove the ball downfield, but Alec Ogletree intercepted Petty at the end to give the Rams the win.


Alec Ogletree was the star in this game. Ogltree had 6 solo tackles, 4 assisted tackles, 10 total tackles, and 1 interception that helped the Rams improve to 4-5. The New York Jets are now 3-7 following that loss to the Rams.





Atlanta Falcons 6-4-0
Versus
Philadelphia Eagles 5-4-0


Game Recap: PHILADELPHIA-Both teams need to win this game to remain in the playoff race. Atlanta needs to win to have a shot at a first round bye and Philadelphia needs to win to avoid a losing record.


Philadelphia ran it in to take a 7-0 lead after one quarter. Atlanta kicked a field goal to make it 7-3 in the second quarter. Atlanta kicked another field goal to make it 7-6. Philadelphia led 7-6 at halftime.


Both teams got field goals in the third quarter. Philadelphia led 10-9 after three quarters.


Philadelphia got a field goal to make it 13-9. Atlanta threw the first passing touchdown of the game. Matt Bryant missed the extra point making it 15-13.


Philadelphia got a touchdown and the two point conversion. That made it a 21-15 Eagles lead in the fourth quarter.


Philadelphia got a field goal to win 24-15. Running back Ryan Matthews was the player in this game that stepped up. Ryan Matthews had 19 carries, 109 rushing yards, and 2 rushing touchdowns. Atlanta falls to 6-4 while Philadelphia improves to 5-4.




Kansas City Chiefs 7-2-0
Versus
Carolina Panthers 3-6-0


Game Recap: CAROLINA-Alex Smith and Justin Houston returned for the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs headed out to Carolina.


Carolina led 3-0 after one quarter. Cam Newton took over in the second quarter with a passing and rushing touchdown. Those touchdowns gave Carolina 17-0 lead.


Kansas City got a field goal late in the first half. That made it 17-3 Carolina at halftime.


Neither teams cored in the third quarter. Cairo Santos kicked a field goal to make it 17-6.


Cam Newton threw a pick 6 to Eric Berry in the fourth quarter. The Chiefs went for two and Alex Smith threw to Travis Kelce for the two point conversion. Carolina led 17-14 following that play.


Cairo Santos kicked a field goal. That tied this game at 17 in the fourth quarter.


Cairo Santos kicked one more field goal at the end. That gave Kansas City a 20-17 win over Carolina. Eric Berry was my player of the game since he did a great job covering Greg Olsen while getting the critical pick 6 to put Kansas City back in the game.


Kansas City is now 7-2 while Carolina is 3-6. Carolina blew a 17-0 lead which really cost the Panthers their season unless they can win out from this point forward.





Chicago Bears 2-7-0
Versus
Tampa Bay Buccaneers 4-5-0


Game Recap: TAMPA BAY-Chicago had a bye week heading into Tampa Bay. The Buccaneers were looking to rebound after a brutal Thursday Night loss to the Atlanta Falcons.


Turnovers killed Chicago in the first half. Jay Cutler threw 2 interceptions including a pick 6 which put Tampa Bay ahead 7-0. Cutler also fumbled and Tampa Bay recovered then Jordan Howard fumbled with Tampa Bay recovering. Tampa Bay led 7-3 after one quarter.


Tampa Bay led 14-3 at the two minute warning int he first half. Winston threw a passing touchdown to put Tampa Bay ahead by two scores.


Tampa Bay got a field goal to make it 17-3. Then Chicago threw a passing touchdown to make it 17-10 at halftime.


Tampa Bay took control of this game in the third quarter. Winston threw a completion to Mike Evans evading a safety in the process. Then Winston threw a touchdown to give Tampa Bay a 24-10 lead. Tampa Bay kicked a field goal and got a safety to give themselves a 29-10 lead after three quarters.


Tampa Bay won this game 36-10. Robert Ayers was my player of the game at 4-3 right end for Tampa Bay. Robert Ayers had 5 solo tackles, 1 assisted tackle, 6 total tackles, 1.5 sacks, and 1 forced fumble. Chicago falls to 2-7 while Tampa Bay improves to 4-5.




Minnesota Vikings 5-4-0
Versus
Washington Redskins 5-3-1


Game Recap: WASHINGTON-Left tackle Trent Williams was serving the first of a four game suspension for PED's. Minnesota would have an easier time getting pressure on Kirk Cousins.


Washington led 7-0 after one quarter. Washington took a 14-0 lead before Minnesota scored 20 unanswered points to lead 20-14 at halftime.


Both Sam Bradford and Kirk Cousins were excellent at quarterback despite offensive line injuries in the first half. Sam Bradford went 16/20 with 202 passing yards, 2 passing touchdowns, and no interceptions. Kirk Cousins went 9/15 with 125 passing yards, 2 passing touchdowns, and no interceptions.


Washington got two field goals in the third quarter to tie the game at 20. The game was tied 20-20 heading into the fourth quarter.


Washington kicked two field goals in the fourth quarter. Washington led 26-20 late in the fourth quarter.


Washington won 26-20. Quarterback Kirk Cousins went 22/33 with 282 passing yards, 2 passing touchdowns, and no interceptions. Cousins was huge in Washington's win over the Vikings.





Green Bay Packers 4-5-0
Versus
Tennessee Titans 5-5-0


Game Recap: TENNESSEE-Green Bay needs to snap out of their losing streak. The Titans usually struggle at home so this looked like another easy win for the Packers right?


Wrong, Tennessee dominated in this game. The Titans led 21-0 after one quarter even after left tackle Taylor Lewan got ejected. It started with a 75-yard rushing touchdown by DeMarco Murray. Murray threw a touchdown on a trick play to Delanie Walker to give the Titans a 14-0 lead. Marcus Mariota threw the first of his three passing touchdowns in the first half late in the first quarter to give Tennessee a 21-0 lead.



Aaron Rodgers threw a passing touchdown to Jordy Nelson in the second quarter. Tennessee made it a 21 point game again when Marcus Mariota threw another passing touchdown to make it a 28-7 game and a 21 point lead to make it a 28-10 game.


Marcus Mariota threw a touchdown to make it a 35-10 game. James Starks ran it in to make it a 35-16 game heading into halftime.


Aaron Rodgers ran for a rushing touchdown. The Packers failed to get the two point conversion. That made it 35-22. Marcus Mariota threw a passing touchdown Tajae Sharpe which made it 41-22. Green Bay kicked a field goal to make it 41-25 heading into the fourth quarter.


Perrish Cox got ejected in the fourth quarter at cornerback. That did not seem to matter though with the Titans winning 47-25.


Marcus Mariota was the player of this game for the Titans. Mariota began the game 10/10 and finished 19/26 with 295 passing yards, 4 passing touchdowns, and no interceptions. Mariota threw all of those touchdowns after Taylor Lewan got ejected while Jack Conklin remained at right tackle. Green Bay falls to 4-5 while the Tennessee Titans improve to 5-5.




Miami Dolphins 5-4-0
Versus
San Diego Chargers 4-6-0


Game Recap: SAN DIEGO-Both teams needed to win this game with where they were in the standings. Miami seems to have more momentum, bu this feels like a game that will come right down to the wire.


Neither team scored in the first quarter. San Diego got 10 unanswered points in the second quarter before Ryan Tannehill threw a touchdown pass late in the second quarter to make it 10-7 at halftime.


Miami got two touchdowns from running back Damian Williams in the third quarter to give the Dolphins a 21-17 lead after three quarters.


San Diego took a 24-21 lead in the fourth quarter. Miami would tie the game at 24 late in the fourth quarter.


Philip Rivers threw 4 interceptions on Sunday. Two of those 4 interceptions came when the game was tied 24-24 in the fourth quarter. One of those interceptions was a pick 6 to Kiko Alonso and the other interception sealed the Chargers fate causing Miami to improve to 5-4 while San Diego fell to 4-6.


Two players stepped up in this game. One of those players was quarterback Ryan Tannehill who went 17/24 with 240 passing yards, 2 passing touchdowns, and no interceptions. The other player was 4-3 middle linebacker Kiko Alonso. Kiko Alonso had 4 solo tackles and 1 interception which was the game-winning touchdown off a pick 6.





San Francisco 49ers 1-8-0
Versus
Arizona Cardinals 4-4-1


Game Recap: ARIZONA-Tyrann Mathieu was out for this game. Arizona should still win even without Mathieu.


David Johnson had the only touchdown in the first quarter. Carson Palmer threw a passing touchdown to David Johnson. Arizona led 7-0 after one quarter.


David Johnson had a rushing touchdown in the second quarter. Arizona led 14-0 following that play.


Colin Kaepernick threw a passing touchdown to Jeremy Kerely to make it 14-7. Arizona and San Francisco traded field goals after that with Arizona leading 20-10 at halftime.


San Francisco got a field goal in the third quarter. Arizona led 20-13 after three quarters. San Francisco tied the game at 20 in the fourth quarter. That did not seem to matter though since Arizona got a game-winning field goal as time expired.


Larry Fitzgerald and Michael Floyd were phenomenal. Fitzgerald had 12 receptions and 133 receiving yards. Michael Floyd had 5 receptions and 101 receiving yards.


Chandler Jones had 4 solo tackles and 2 sacks. Jones was huge on defense for Arizona. San Francisco falls to 1-8 while Arizona is now 4-4-1.




Dallas Cowboys 8-1-0
Versus
Pittsburgh Steelers 4-5-0


Game Recap: PITTSBURGH-Dallas traveled to Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh was hoping to snap a three game losing streak.


Le'veon Bell caught a receiving touchdown from Ben Roethlisberger. That gave Pittsburgh a 6-0 lead after a missed extra point.


Dan Bailey kicked a field goal. That made it a 6-3 game. Ben Roethlisberger threw a passing touchdown to Eli Rodgers. Pittsburgh went for a two point conversion, but failed to get it.


Dak Prescott threw a 63-yard passing touchdown to Ezekiel Elliott. Pittsburgh led 12-10 after one quarter.


Dan Bailey gave Dallas a 13-12 lead in the second quarter. Chris Boswell strikes right back with Pittsburgh leading Dallas 15-13 at halftime.


Boswell and Bailey exchanged field goals in the third quarter. It was 18-13 then 18-16 until Dak Prescott threw a 50-yard passing touchdown to Dez Bryant. Dan Bailey kicked the extra point to make it a 23-18 game after three quarters with Dallas in the lead again.


Le'veon Bell had a rushing touchdown which gave Pittsburgh a 24-23 lead. Ezekiel Elliott ran it in for a rushing touchdown. Dallas failed to get the two point conversion and led 29-24.


Ben Roethlisberger calls a fake spike and threw a touchdown to Antonio Brown. Pittsburgh led 30-29 after that play and a missed two point conversion.


Ezekiel Elliott ran for a 33-yard rushing touchdown. Dallas scored and took a 35-30 lead with 9 seconds left.


Dallas won 35-30, but both quarterbacks were phenomenal in this game. Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott went 22/32 with 319 passing yards, 2 passing touchdowns, and no interceptions. Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger went 37/46 with 408 passing yards, 3 passing touchdowns, and no interceptions.


The real star in this game was Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott. Elliott had 21 carries, 114 rushing yards, 2 rushing touchdowns, 2 receptions, 95 receiving yards, 1 receiving touchdown, 209 total yards, and 3 total touchdowns. Elliott helped the Cowboys improve to 8-1 while Pittsburgh is now at 4-5. Dallas now has an 8 game winning streak while Pittsburgh has a 4 game losing streak.





Seattle Seahawks 6-2-1
Versus
New England Patriots 7-2-0


Game Recap: NEW ENGLAND-Kam Chancellor returned from a four game injury. This was the first time both teams met in the regular season or postseason since Super Bowl 49.


New England got the ball first. The Patriots had a 10 play drive that lasted 4 minutes and 41 seconds. LeGarrette Blount ran it in for a rushing touchdown to give New England a 7-0 lead.


Seattle settled for a field goal on their opening drive. New England's defense made a critical stop on third down to prevent what appeared to be a Tyler Lockett completion.


New England led 7-3 after that drive. Seattle's defense held New England to a 3 and out.


Trey Flowers sacked Russell Wilson after New England declined a holding penalty. Paul Richardson caught a pass on 2nd and 17. Justin Coleman was able to cover Tyler Lockett, but he cost the Patriots a defensive stop with a pass interference penalty on third down.


Logan Ryan did a great job stopping Jermaine Kearse in coverage on second down. That set up a third and six for Seattle. C.J. Prosise the rookie from Notre Dame caught a screen pass for a first down.


Russell Wilson threw two more completions to Doug Baldwin and Jermaine Kearse. Steven Haushcka kicked antoher field goal. New England led 7-6 late in the first quarter after that game.


Seattle held New England to another 3 and out. New England led 7-6 after one quarter.


Jermaine Kearse caught a critical reception on third down. That reception put Seattle in good field position, but Kearse had a false start which moved the ball from the Patriots 31 to the Patriots 36 yard line.


C.J. Prosise ran into Malcolm Butler. Germain Ifedi had a great block at right guard. Christine Michael ran it for a first down.


Doug Baldwin caught a receiving touchdown. Seattle took a 12-7 lead after a missed extra point. Seattle had a 10 play drive that lasted 4 minutes and 10 seconds.


LeGarrette Blount gained one rushing yard on that play on their next drive. Rob Gronkowski caught a reception that looked like a fumble and was originally called a fumble, but they reviewed the play. The call was overturned. It was 3rd and 1 with New England keeping the ball.


Tom Brady scrambles on 3rd and 1. Brady manages to get the first down to keep the drive alive. DeShawn Shead intercepted Tom Brady to keep the drive alive.


Seattle watched Alex Collins fumble the ball. Rob Ninkovich did an awesome job sacking Russell Wilson on third down. Seattle punted the ball to New England.


Tom Brady completed a long pass to Martellus Bennett. Tom Brady scrambled for a first down on second down. LeGarrette Blount ran for a few yards on the next play.


Julian Edelman lined up in the backfield and then moved to the slot. Richard Sherman grabbed Julian Edelman on a facemask and that put the Patriots at midfield.


Tom Brady fired a pass to Rob Gronkowski. Kam Chancellor and Earl Thomas laid out Rob Gronkowski. Gronkowski felt woozy and walked off the field. Great clean hit by Seattle on that play.


Tom Brady threw a completion to Martellus Bennett. Bennett got by DeShawn Shead for the first down.


LeGarrette Blount ran on that play. Blount gained 8 yards on that play.


Tom Brady threw a screen pass to Julian Edelman. Edelman got a first down for the Patriots.


Brady threw a completion to Bennett. That set up a first and goal situation for the New England Patriots. The Seattle Seahawks needed that two minute warning with New England having momentum on the drive.


Blount ran it forward. Seattle made a great stop to cause second and goal. Cliff Avril had a defensive holding penalty which made it first and goal.


Blount ran it in again for another rushing touchdown. Blount had 12 carries, 32 rushing yards, and 2 rushing touchdowns following that play. Gostkowski kicked the extra point. The Patriots led 14-12 following that touchdown from Blount.


Seattle got the ball again. Jimmy Graham kept the drive alive on that play. Seattle called a timeout on that play.


Seattle called another timeout following a scramble by Russell Wilson. Russell Wilson threw an 18-yard touchdwon pass to Doug Baldwin to give Seattle a 19-14 lead at halftime.


Seattle started the second half with the ball. Dont'a Hightower dropped a pick on third and three. Seattle punted the ball to New England.


Kam Chancellor got called for roughing the passer. Chancellor used a swim move to get by right tackle Marcus Cannon. Blount ran for 7 yards following the hit Brady took.


Bobby Wagner tackled LeGarrette Blount. Tom Brady threw a completion to Julian Edelman for a 17-yard gain on third down to move the chains for a first down.


Seattle sacked Tom Brady on the next play to set up 2nd and 17. Martellus Bennett turned a second and seventeen into a third and two. Brady threw a completion to Danny Amendola on that third down. The linebacker focus on Edelman, but not Amendola. Great awareness by Tom Brady. LeGarrette Blount gained 9 yards on the run.


LeGarrette Blount ran for his third rushing touchdown. New England had a 10 play 91-yard drive that took up 5 minutes and 34 seconds. New England led 21-19 following that drive.


Seattle got the ball on the next drive. Russell Wilson threw a completion to Doug Baldwin. Paul Richardson gets the ball to the New England 30 yard line.


C.J. Prosise gained 3 yards on that run following the first down caught by Richardson. Seattle got another first down thanks to a pass interference play by Dont'a Hightower.


C.J. Prosise took the ball to the 7-yard line. That made it first and goal for Seattle. Malcolm Butler and Rob Ninkovich gang tackled Prosise to make it second and goal.


Trey Flowers sacked Russell Wilson on the play. Wilson had an intentional grounding play. Seattle lost 10 yards and third down on that play. Steven Hauschka attempted a 41-yard field goal. Hauschka's kick gave Seattle a one point lead with Seattle ahead 22-21.


New England got some huge first downs on this drive. Rob Gronkowski dropped a pass. A holding penalty and false start by Rob Gronkowski made it second and twenty five. Tom Brady threw to Chris Hogan who was covered well by Shead.


Julian Edelman caught a pass on third and twenty five to make it first and goal. Seattle led New England 22-21 after three quarters.


Seattle stopped Blount on first and goal. Tom Brady scrambled to the five yard line. Frank Clark got a sack which forced New England to kick a field goal. New England led 24-22 following that field goal.


Russell Wilson threw a pass to Jimmy Graham which resulted in a 19-yard game. Malcolm Butler hit C.J. Prosise on a hit. Seattle used Prosise to run the ball.


This was a critical third and six after two stops by New England. Seattle called a timeout. Russell Wilson threw it to C.J. Prosise who caught a pass to make it first and goal.


C.J. Prosise ran it up the middle. He was stopped on first down and second down. That looked like a touchdown, but now Seattle down to one timeout after losing a challenge which looked like a clear touchdown. Then Seattle had a false start penalty to push them back to the five-yard line on third and goal. Russell Wilson threw an incomplete pass Seattle kicked a field goal to make it 25-24.


Nate Ebner saves a fumble on the kick return which puts the Patriots at the Seattle 43-yard line. Tom Brady dropped back to pass. Brady overthrew Kam Chancellor. Julian Edelman caught a pass and Richard Sherman recovered the fumble.


Christine Michael came into the game. Tyler Lockett got a critical first down. Russell Wilson handed the ball off to Michael. Seattle running some clock with a third and three coming up. Russell Wilson threw a third passing touchdown to Doug Baldwin. Seattle should have kicked the extra point to make it an 8 point game. Now its still a one score game with Seattle ahead 31-24.


Tom Brady got the ball back. Martellus Bennett ran out of bounds to make it second and two. Malcolm Mitchell caught a reception to get a first down. Tom Brady threw a pass to Julian Edelman. This time Edelman held onto the ball. James White ran it up the middle. A false start by Malcolm Mitchell made it third and ten.


Julian Edelman with another huge third down conversion. That catch got New England to the Seattle 24-yard line. That set things up for the two minute warning.


Tom Brady handed the ball off to Blount. Rob Gronkowski made an incredible catch. That made it first and goal with under a minute left. Tom Brady scrambled to keep the clock running. Seattle called their last timeout. New England had all of their timeouts and was in a very good second and goal situation.


New England burned their first timeout with 19 seconds left in the fourth quarter. Tom Brady fumbled the ball on a scramble. That set up a fourth and goal. Kam Chancellor with the coverage.


Russell Wilson was the star in this game. Wilson went 25/37 with 348 passing yards, 3 passing touchdowns, and no interceptions. Wilson was flawless against one of the leagues best defenses plus Seattle deserves major credit for winning the turnover battle.




Cincinnati Bengals 3-5-1
Versus
New York Giants 6-3-0


Game Recap: NEW YORK-The Giants needed to win this game as did the Bengals. Cincinnati traveld to New York.


Eli Manning went 6/6 on the New York Giants first drive. The Giants took a 7-0 lead following that drive.


Andy Dalton fired a 73-yard pass to Tyler Eifert. Then Dalton threw a touchdown to A.J. green to tie the game at 7. Dalton went 3/3 on that drive. The game was tied at 7 after one quarter.


Cincinnati took a 10-7 lead in the second quarter. Eli Manning threw a passing touchdown to Odell Beckham Jr. to give the Giants a 14-10 lead at halftime.


The Bengals stepped up in the third quarter. Jeremy Hill gave the Bengals the lead on a rushing touchdown before Mike Nugent kicked a field goal. Andrew Whitworth had a costly holding penalty on third and two which negated a first down. That holding penalty by Whitworth took the Bengals out of field goal range.


Olivier Vernon got by Andrew Whitworth. That allowed Vernon to stop the run. Jonathan Hankins got by Russell Bodine to stop the run. Eli Apple lined up at field cornerback and broke up a pass intended for flanker receiver.


Cincinnati punted. Eli Manning threw a pass to Odell Beckham Jr. Then Rashad Jennings ran for a 24-yard gain. Cincinnati led 20-14 after three quarters with the New York Giants in prime scoring position.


Eli Manning threw a touchdown pass to Sterling Shephard with 14:05 left in the fourth quarter. That touchdown gave the Giants a 21-20 lead.


This time A.J. Green was back at the flanker receiver with Janoris Jenkins moving to field cornerback. Janoris Jenkins made a great stop and deflection in coverage. Jason Pierre-Paul batted a pass down on the next play.


Tyler Eifert converted a critical third down which was the Bengals first third down conversion of the night in the fourth quarter. The Giants made two defensive stops setting up another critical third down. Janoris Jenkins got called with defensive holding on third and fifteen. Landon Collins intercepted Andy Dalton, but was knocked down by his own teammate. C'mon man.


Eli heaves a bomb. That was intercepted by George Iloka who had an interception at strong safety.


The Giants won this game 21-20 thanks to Olivier Vernon and Jason Pierre-Paul. Vernon had 4 solo tackles, 6 assisted tackles, 10 total tackles, 1 sack, and 3 quarterback hurries. The combination of Vernon and Pierre-Paul was brilliant and both were Gruden grinders during the Monday Night game.
