Quarterback Joe Flacco was my player of the game. Flacco went 23/36 with 269 passing yards, 2 passing touchdowns, and no interceptions. Baltimore has a great defense. When Joe Flacco keeps his cool and avoids turnovers this is one of the hardest teams to beat.

New England Patriots 10-2-0

Both teams traded field goals. Bortles threw a second touchdown before a tricky extra point backfired. Jacksonville led 16-3 at halftime.

The second half of this game was pretty pedestrian. Jacksonville won this game 30-10. Quarterback Blake Bortles was my player of the game. Bortles went 26/35 with 309 passing yards, 2 passing touchdowns, and no interceptions.

Los Angeles won 19-10. Wide receiver Keenan Allen was my player of this game. Allen had 10 receptions, 105 receiving yards, and 1 receiving touchdown. Keenan Allen was the biggest reason the Cleveland Browns remained without a win following this game. Allen became the first NFL receiver with three consecutive games with 10 receptions, 100 receiving yards, and 1 receiving touchdown.

Carolina Panthers 8-4-0
New Orleans Saints 9-3-0

Game Recap: NEW ORLEANS-Both NFC South teams were playing for first place. Cam Newton didn't have Greg Olsen back this week.

Drew Brees hit Michael Thomas on a third down conversion. That set up a rushing touchdown for Alvin Kamara. New Orleans led 7-0.

Two defensive penalties gave Carolina great field position. Jonathan Stewart ran it in for a rushing touchdown. That tied this game at 7-7. The score was 7-7 after one quarter of play.

Will Lutz kicked a field goal. New Orleans led 31-14.

Cam Newton threw a 24-yard touchdown pass to Devin Funchess. New Orleans won 31-21. Running back Alvin Kamara was my player of the game even though you could have made a case for Drew Brees, Mark Ingram, or Michael Thomas. Alvin Kamara had 60 rushing yards, 66 receiving yards, 126 total yards, and 2 rushing touchdowns. Kamara was the player of the game in my opinion for this reason with that kind of balance as both a running back and pass catcher out of the backfield.

New York Giants 2-10-0

Greg Zeurlein kicked a field goal. Los Angeles took a 3-0 lead.

Jared Goff threw a passing touchdown to Gerald Everett. Zeurlein missed the extra point. Los Angeles led 9-0.

Alec Ogletree had a pick 6 on Blaine Gabbert. Los Angeles led 16-0 after one quarter of play.

Jared Goff threw a passing touchdown to Sammy Watkins. Los Angeles led 26-13 after three quarters. Larry Fitzgerald passed former Rams receiver Isaac Bruce to become fourth in all time receiving yards only trailing Jerry Rice, Terrell Owens, and Randy Moss. One can argue Fitzgerald is the classiest receiver to deliver on a week-to-week basis since Jerry Rice.

Los Angeles won this game 32-16. Alec Ogltree was my player of the game due to that pick 6 he had on Blaine Gabbert.

Philadelphia Eagles 10-2-0
Seattle Seahawks 8-4-0

Game Recap: SEATTLE-Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz didn't have to worry about Richard Sherman or Kam Chancellor in his first appearance in CenturyLink Field. Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson is putting together a strong campaign at quarterback as well.

Blair Walsh made a 46-yard field goal. Seattle led 3-0.

Russell Wilson threw a touchdown pass to Jimmy Graham. Seattle led 10-0 after one quarter of play.

Jake Elliott got the only points in the second quarter at kicker for the Philadelphia Eagles. Seattle led 10-3 at halftime.

Carson Wentz made two incredible throws on the run in the fourth quarter. Those incredible throws included a 51-yard throw to Nelson Agholor and another 27-yard throw on the run to Agholor. Seattle led 17-10.

Russell Wilson threw his third passing touchdown of the game. Seattle led 24-10.

Carson Wentz had another opportunity. This was a must score drive for Philadelphia. Seattle made a stop n fourth down.

Carson Wentz threw a pick. Seattle won 24-10. Quarterback Russell Wilson was my player of the game. Wilson went 20/31 with 227 passing yards, 3 passing touchdowns, and no interceptions. What impressed me more was how selfless he was crediting Seattle's defense for how they played as a team.

Pittsburgh Steelers 10-2-0
Cincinnati Bengals 5-7-0

Game Recap: CINCINNATI-Antonio Brown played. He was a game-time decision, but was expected to play.

Ben Roethlisberger threw an interception to Adam Jones. Ryan Shazier left the game injured for Pittbsurgh as they took two commercial breaks to cart him off. Cincinnati settled for a field goal.

Antonio Brown embarrassed Dre Kirkpatrick early even with a broken toe. His route running really allowed him to get by Kirkpatrick. Roethlisberger underthrew a pass that Kirkpatrick nearly intercepted. Cincinnati swatted a pass on third down. Cincinnati would get the ball back.

Andy Dalton threw a touchdown pass to A.J. Green. Cincinnati led 10-0 after one quarter of play.

Carlos Dunlap gets by Pittsburgh's mediocre backup right tackle with Marcus Gilbert out. Pittsburgh gets sacked. Pittsburgh had to punt it.

A.J. Green got another touchdown. Cincinnati took a 17-0 lead. Pittsburgh made a field goal to avoid a shutout at halftime. Cincinnati led 17-3 at halftime.

Joe Mixon had a concussion. He did not return to the game.

Cincinnati should have won this game. The officials made a horrible call negating A.J. Green's third touchdown. Bernard got called for a holding penalty that negated a touchdown. Pittsburgh rallied back thanks to Antonio Brown who had 8 receptions, 101 receiving yards, and 1 receiving touchdown. Running back Le'Veon Bell also played well with 23 touches, 18 carries, 5 receptions, 76 rushing yards, 106 receiving yards, and 1 receiving touchdown. Ben made a lot of careless throws early and while he did enough to lead Pittsburgh to a win while Dalton choked in the fourth quarter, the main star of this game was Antonio Brown period. Brown made a catch in double coverage and continued to embarrass Kirkpatrick.

Pittsburgh deserves credit for adjusting in the second half. The JuJu Smith-Schuster hit on Burfict looked way more violent than the Gronk hit so I'm not sorry for saying Pittsburgh won due to the officiating in tonights game.
