board.

Cincinnati Bengals: Logan Wilson,
LOLB, Wyoming
A+
Grade
- The 6-2 241 lb Logan Wilson had 62 solo tackles, 43 assisted tackles,
and 105 total tackles. Joseph Potter, the co-host of my podcast mocked
this guy to Cleveland in the third round for good reason. I like his
tackling and instincts, but the rest of his game needs work. He called
Wilson a star. Cincinnati was at the Senior Bowl so if they liked Wilson,
I'm not faulting them for this pick.
Washington Redskins: Antonio
Gibson, RB, Memphis
C Grade
- Washington needs a left tackle and linebackers. This pick is a huge
reach.
Detroit Lions: Julian Okwara, LOLB,
Notre Dame
A+ Grade
- Julian Okwara can play 4-3 right end, 4-3 left end, 3-4 right outside
linebacker, and 3-4 left outside linebacker with his versatility. He can
rush the passer, stop the run, and drop back into coverage. Okwara got
injured during the 2019 season which is the only reason he fell to the
Lions here. Honestly, this is a huge steal for Detroit as Romeo Okwara's
little brother is re-united with him in Detroit.
New York Jets: Ashtyn Davis, FS,
California
A Grade
- The 6-1 195 lb Ashtyn Davis can play strong safety or free safety. His
one strong quality is that he takes up lots of space. Ashtyn Davis is my
second best safety on the board and gives you a guy to develop for a year
behind Jamal Adams and Marcus Maye.
Seattle Seahawks: Damien Lewis, RG,
LSU
C Grade
- The 6-2 329 lb Damien Lewis has the pass blocking, pass blocking
strength, run blocking, run blocking strength, and run blocking footwork to
succeed D.J. Fluker down the road. Seatlte got a nice player
here.
Miami Dolphins: Brandon Jones, SS,
Texas
F
Grade
- Brandon Jones is a seventh round player on my board. Miami gets
another F grade.
Baltimore Ravens: Justin
Madubuike, 3-4 RE, Texas A&M
B Grade
- Baltimore drafts the 6-3 293 lb Justin Madubuike as a 3-4 right end
after failing to sign Michael Brockers.
- Justin Madubuike had 11.5 tackles for a loss, 7 quarterback hurries,
and 5.5 sacks in 2019. Madubuike dominated the 2020 NFL Combine with a
4.83 40-time and 31 reps on the bench press.
- Justin Madubuike really tested Clemson's guards that went to Mobile.
He led a Texas A&M front 7 that held Travis Ettinne, Clemson's stud running
back to 53 rushing yards and 0 rushing touchdowns. Travis still got 52
receiving yards and 105 total yards, but had 0 receiving touchdowns as
well.
- Justin Madubuike was not in any fourth and short situations where
Clemson went for it. Honestly, I see more of a three down defensive tackle
than a four down guy. Mississippi State pancaked him and did a good job
neutralizing Madubuike.
- Most of Madubuike's wins against the interior offensive line were due
to his foot speed and first step quickness. He displays rip and swim
moves, but not on a consistent basis. Block shedding is an issue with
Madubuike and he needs to get stronger at the next level.
- Justin Madubuike lined up as an edge rusher like Rashard Lawrence on
one play versus Mississippi State. It resulted in him getting neutralized
and pancaked by Tyre Phillips the left tackle for Mississippi State.
Madubuike struggled with wrapping his arms around a player on a tackle and
also got wrapped around by Mississippi State's offensive line way too
easily.
- Justin Madubuike contained his gap against Clemson, but struggled to do
that against Mississippi State with his gap getting exposed. Madubuike
played like a second round defensive tackle against Clemson, yet also
played like a fourth round defensive tackle against Mississippi State. His
combine performance showed me he is closer to being the player he was
against Clemson than the player he was against Mississippi State which is
why he is a great value pick for Baltimore here.
Arizona Cardinals: Josh Jones, LT,
Houston
A+
Grade
- Arizona has D.J. Humphries and Justin Murray as their starting
offensive tackles. Josh Jones will push Murray for the right tackle job
and be the backup left tackle to Humphries while Marcus Gilbert remains the
backup right tackle.
- The 6-5 311 lb Josh Jones is a former basketball player with excellent
footwork. The four year starter at left tackle for Houston showed the
versatility to play left tackle and right tackle in Mobile.
- Click this Josh
Jones Interview to hear Josh Jones after day 3 of Senior Bowl practice
from Mobile. Arizona finally got the final player with a first
round.
Jacksonville Jaguars: Davon
Hamilton, DT, Ohio State
A Grade
- The 6-4 327 lb Davon Hamilton is a player that can pair up with Taven
Bryan. Terrific pick by Jacksonville.
New Orleans Saints: Zack Baun, LOLB,
Wisconsin
A+
Grade
- Scouts expected Zack Baun to weigh in at 6-3 235 lbs, but he weighed in
at 6-2 240 lbs. Zack Baun showed the versatility to play 4-3 right outside
linebacker, 3-4 right outside linebacker, 4-3 left outside linebacker, and
3-4 left outside linebacker with his versatility.
- Zack Baun had 53 solo tackles, 23 assisted tackles, 76 total tackles,
19.5 tackles for a loss, 12.5 sacks, and 10 quarterback hurries. Baun was
someone that I viewed as a second round pick who could move up boards with
a strong week in Mobile.
- Zack Baun dominated the first day of practice. He even intercepted a
pass the coaches threw his way. On Wednesday, the second day of Senior
Bowl practice, Baun got picked apart in coverage by both running backs and
tight ends. Baun has the pass rushing, run stuffing, and tackling of a
second round pick, but the coverage of a fourth round pick which is why I
have him falling to the third round.
- New Orleans gets this guy to push Alex Anzalone for the 4-3 left
outside linebacker job. Great pick as the New Orleans Saints are now the
second team behind the Kansas City Chiefs to clear all their team
needs.
Detroit Lions: Jonah Jackson, RG,
Ohio State
A+
Grade
- The 6-5 310 lb Jonah Jackson was a three year starter as the starting
right guard at Rutgers before transferring to Ohio State in 2019 where he
started at left guard. Jonah Jackson has the pass blocking, pass blocking
strength, run blocking, run blocking strength, and zone blocking. His foot
speed and footwork needs to improve at the next level, but he's got the
ceiling to start right away at right guard for Detroit as a replacement to
Graham Glasgow.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Ke'Shawn
Vaughn, RB, Vanderbilt
C Grade
- The 5-9 205 lb Ke'Shawn Vaughn is someone who provides depth behind
Ronald Jones. This is a good pick for Tampa Bay as a depth on Ronald
Jones. Tampa Bay now becomes the third NFL team behind Kansas City and New Orleans to clear all of their team needs this offseason.
Denver Broncos: Michael Ojemudia, CB,
Iowa
C
Grade
- Denver got a number two field cornerback instead of a number one
cornerback. This is a huge reach.
- Michael Ojemudia did okay for a boundary cornerback in Mobile and fits
the bill as a good man and zone coverage corner. Him and A.J. Bouye are
both boundary cornerbacks in my mind.
Atlanta Falcons: Matt Hennessy, C,
Temple
B+
Grade
- The 6-4 302 lb Matt Hennessy can play all five spots on the offensive
line whether it be left tackle, left guard, center, right guard, or right
tackle. Hennessy's best positions for the NFL are at center, left guard,
and right guard on the interior offensive line. I spoke with him briefly
in Mobile and he's a good depth player behind Alex Mack and is someone they
can groom to succeed Mack.
New York Jets: Jabari Zuniga, 3-4 ROLB,
Florida
C
Grade
- The Jets needed a 3-4 right outside linebacker. This pick feels like a
slight reach.
- New York gets the 6-3 251 lb Jabari Zuniga as a pass rusher here.
Jabari Zuniga and can play on either side as an edge rusher next to John
Jenkins.
Las Vegas Raiders: Lynn Bowden Jr.,
WR, Kentucky
C
Grade
- The Raiders reached for another receiver. I had a fifth round grade on
this QB/WR with great speed.
Las Vegas Raiders: Bryan Edwards, WR,
South Carolina
C+ Grade
- The 6-3 212 lb Bryan Edwards has great game speed on film despite not
running a 40 time. He did not stand out in Mobile, but he is one of the
better blockers in this draft class when you watch his tape.
Dallas Cowboys: Neville Gallimore, DT,
Oklahoma
A+
Grade
- The 6-2 304 lb Neville Gallimore can play in the 0-technique,
1-technique, 2-technique, 3-technique, 4-technique, or 5-technique.
Gallimore had 18 solo tackles, 12 assisted tackles, 30 total tackles, 7.5
tackles for a loss, 7 quarterback hurries, and 4 sacks in 2019. Neville
Gallimore shows four down ability on tape.
- Dallas gets a defensive tackle in the third round. Dallas now has
Gerald McCoy and Dontari Poe as starters. They now have Neville Gallimore
and Trysten Hill for depth at 4-3 defensive tackle.
- Click this Neville
Gallimore Interview to hear Neville Gallimore after one of the Senior
Bowl practices.
Denver Broncos: Lloyd Cushenberry
III, C, LSU
A+
Grade
- Denver gets their center to replace Connor McGovern here. The 6-3 312
lb Lloyd Cushenberry III was the top center in the 2020 Senior Bowl. He
established himself as the top center not named Tyler Biadasz in this
draft. Denver now has Garrett Bolles at left tackle, Dalton Risner at left
guard, Lloyd Cushenberry III at center, Graham Glasgow at right guard, and
Ju'Wuan James at right tackle.
- Lloyd Cushenberry has the pass blocking, run blocking, zone blocking,
pass blocking footwork, run blocking footwork, pass blocking strength, and
run blocking strength that you want a center to have. He kept Javon Kinlaw
in check on one drill at the 2020 Senior Bowl in one-on-one practices so
that is why he is being mocked here.
Los Angeles Rams: Terrell Lewis, 3-4
LOLB, Alabama
A Grade
- Los Angeles gets a pass rusher that will help their pass rush. The 6-5
252 lb Terrell Lewis had 16 quarterback hurries, 11.5 tackles for a loss, 6
sacks, and a forced fumble against Joe Burrow on tape.
- Click this Terrell
Lewis Interview to hear a press conference featuring the top edge
rusher on Alabama.
Indianapolis Colts: Julian
Blackmon, FS, Utah
C
Grade
- The 6-0 187 lb Julian Blackmon played cornerback in his first two
seasons at Utah. He made the move to free safety in 2019 and is versatile
enough to play both safety spots.
- Indianapolis needed a true strong safety to compliment Malik Hooker
like Jalen Elliott out of Notre Dame. Instead they get a backup free
safety for depth.
Buffalo Bills: Zack Moss, RB, Utah
A Grade
- Buffalo grabs a running back for depth to replace Frank Gore here.
That player at this point is Zack Moss.
- The 5-9 223 lb Zack Moss is not only the best running back on the
board, but also the best player on the board at this point in the fourth
round. Moss has the ball carrier vision, pass protection, and ability to
catch out of the back field. He makes great runs on tape and has fantastic
production despite having a bad 2020 NFL Combine.
- Zack Moss had 214 carries, 1,173 rushing yards, 10 rushing touchdowns,
29 receptions, 243 receiving yards, 243 touches, and 1,416 total yards in
2017. Moss had 179 carries, 1,096 rushing yards, 11 rushing touchdowns, 8
receptions, 50 receiving yards, 1 receiving touchdown, 187 touches, 1,146
total yards, and 11 rushing touchdowns in 2018. Moss had 235 carries,
1,416 rushing yards, 15 rushing touchdowns, 28 receptions, 388 receiving
yards, 2 receiving touchdowns, 263 touches, 1,804 total yards, and 17 total
touchdowns in 2019.
New England Patriots: Anfernee
Jennings, 3-4 ROLB, Alabama
A Grade
- I had Anfernee Jennings at 83 on my big board. New England had Chase
Winovich and drafted Josh Uche in the second round. Now the Patriots grab
another pass rusher for depth early as well as someone to push Winovich for
that starting 3-4 right outside linebacker job.
- Anfernee Jennings was the 3-4 right outside linebacker on Alabama with
Terrell Lewis playing next to him. Both edge rushers did better against
right tackles in Mobile. Jennings had 12.5 tackles for a loss, 8 sacks,
and 8 quarterback hurries in 2019.
Cleveland Browns: Jordan Elliott,
DT, Missouri
B
Grade
- Outside of Rashard Lawrence, this was the top defensive tackle on the
board. While it's a reach, this was the top defensive tackle not named
Lawrence which is why you cannot fault the pick too badly.
- The 6-4 302 lb Jordan Elliott dominated the 2020 NFL Combine with a
5.02 40-time and 24 reps on the bench press. Elliott had 8 tackles for a
loss in 2018 and 8.5 tackles for a loss in 2019. Even though his stats are
underwhelming, one thing I love about Elliott is his ability to take up
space in the middle of a defensive line.
- Elliott has the first step quickness, rip, and swim moves you want a
nose tackle to have on tape. His ability to process plays by learning an
NFL playbook and his block shedding need to improve though. He will thrive
as a run stuffing nose tackle or a rotational pass rushing defensive tackle
on a defensive line which is why I like this pick.
Minnesota Vikings: Cameron Dantzler,
CB, Mississippi State
B Grade
- Minnesota needed a nickel cornerback to compliment Mike Hughes and
their first round pick Jeff Gladney. I had Darnay Holmes, Bryce Hall, Troy
Pride Jr., and Dane Jackson graded ahead of Dantzler.
- The 6-2 188 lb Cameron Dantzler lined up at field and boundary
cornerback. He had 8 deflections from pass breakups and 2 interceptions in
2019.
- Dantzler displays the man coverage, zone coverage, and press coverage
you want a cornerback to have. He struggles against the run though and his
inconsistent game speed against vastly superior receivers on Alabama like
Jerry Jeudy and Henry Ruggs III exposed Dantzler as a day two
player.
- I like Dantzler as a nickel cornerback here. This is a great value
pick.
Houston Texans: Jonathan Greenard, 3-4
LOLB, Florida
B-
Grade
- Houston needed a 3-4 right outside linebacker. Greenard can play both
sides like his teammate Jabari Zuniga. This pick felt like a reach with
Bradlee Anae still on the board.
New England Patriots: Devin Asiasi,
TE, UCLA
C-
Grade
- New England needed a tight end. They took a guy with great game speed
who can get separation as the second tight end in this draft over guys like
Albert Okwuegunam, Brycen Hopkins, and Harrison Bryant.
- Devin Asiasi had his moments on tape. He's a good blocker with the
speed you want. The 6-3 257 lb Devin Asiasi is not worth trading three
draft picks to get. Unless you think you are getting the next Rob
Gronkowski you do not trade three draft picks for two in return.
Baltimore Ravens: Devin Duvernay, WR, Texas
C+ Grade
- Devin Duvernay is a better route runner and can run more routes than Collin Johnson despite not having the size that Johnson has. The 5-10 202 lb Duvernay also ran a 4.39 40-time at the 2020 NFL Combine despite dropping some balls during wide receiver drills in Mobile.
- I had New England getting him for depth in the fifth round. Baltimore got him in the late third round and he may be good enough to be their slot receiver after doing well in 2019 with 106 receptions, 1,386 receiving yards, and 9 receiving touchdowns.
Tennessee Titans: Darrynton Evans, RB, Appalachian State
F Grade
- Titans reached for a running back that wasn't even on my board. Then again, I feel like I should have asked Akeem Davis-Gaither about Evans when I interviewed Akeem Davis-Gaither in Mobile.
Green Bay Packers: Josiah Deguara, TE, Cincinnati
C- Grade
- He is Cincinnati's best tight end since Travis Kelce. First among Cincinnati tight ends in receptions and second in receiving yards behind Kelce. He is a reach here though as he was okay in Mobile.
- He provides depth at tight end behind Marcedes Lewis and Jace Sternberger. Guys like Albert Okwuegunam, Brycen Hopkins, and Harrison Bryant have enough talent to start over Lewis and Sternberger so it feels like Green Bay reached for depth here rather than going for a potential starter.
Denver Broncos: McTevin Agim, 3-4 RE, Arkasnas
F Grade
- Denver reached here by getting a 3-4 right end for depth. Terrible pick here at 95.
Kansas City Chiefs: Lucas Niang, RT, TCU
C- Grade
- Kansas City had Mitchell Schwartz and Mike Remmers as a backup for depth. They take a third right tackle here by reaching for Niang in the late third round.
Cleveland Browns: Jacob Phillips, MLB, LSU
A+ Grade
- Houston got this compensation pick at 97 thanks to Tyrann Mathieu
signing with the Kansas City Chiefs. Houston traded a third to Cleveland
for Carlos Hyde and this is the pick the Browns ended up receiving from the
Texans.
- The 6-3 229 lb Jacob Phillips is the complete package. He can rush the passer, stop the run, or drop back into coverage effectively. He does not have the game speed that wows you like Patrick Queen, but he is talented enough to start right away in the NFL.
- Cleveland needed a replacement to Joe Schobert. They got their guy with Phillips at 97.
Baltimore Ravens: Malik Harrison, 3-4 MLB, Ohio State
A+ Grade
- New England got this compensation pick at 98 thanks to Trey Flowers
signing with the Detroit Lions. They traded this pick to Baltimore when moving up in the draft for Josh Uche.
- Baltimore drafts the 6-3 246 lb Malik Harrison. Malik Harrison is the best middle linebacker on the board.
- Malik Harrison had 55 solo tackles, 26 assisted tackles, 81 total tackles, 8.5 tackles for a loss, 4 deflections from pass breakups, 3 quarterback hurries, and 2 sacks in 2018. Malik Harrison had 49 solo tackles, 26 assisted tackles, 75 total tackles, 16.5 tackles for a loss, 4.5 sacks, and 4 deflections from pass breakups in 2019.
- Malik Harrison can stop the run or drop back into coverage. He also great at spying on a quarterback.
New York Giants: Matt Peart, RG, Connecticut
A Grade
- New York got this compensation pick at 99 thanks to Landon Collins
signing with the Washington Redskins.
- Matt Peart played left tackle, left guard, right guard, and right tackle at Connecticut. The 6-6 310 lb Matt Peart mainly lined up at right tackle in Mobile. He still has a lot to do in terms of developing. Worst case scenario, you are getting a backup offensive tackle or guard. New York has Will Hernandez and Kevin Zeitler under contract for two more years at guard so Peart is probably gonna be a swing guard for depth with the New York Giants.
- Click this Matt Peart Interview to hear an interview between Matt Peart and myself after a Senior Bowl practice.
New England Patriots: Tanner Muse, SS, Clemson
C Grade
- New England got this compensation pick at 100 thanks to Trent Brown
signing with the Oakland Raiders now known as the Las Vegas Raiders. The Las Vegas Raiders got this pick back though when New England moved up to 91 for Devin Asiasi.
- The Raiders took a safety for depth here. Tanner Muse is faster than teammate K'Von Wallace. Muse struggles with blocking though while Wallace has a tendency to take bad angles. Las Vegas had four safeties on their roster so clearly this was a depth pick.
New England Patriots: Dalton Keene, TE, Virgina Tech
F Grade
- Seattle got this compensation pick at 101 thanks to Earl Thomas signing
with the Baltimore Ravens.
- No need for the Patriots to trade up for a tight end that is undrafted. The Patriots get an F grade for this one with Jake Fromm and Eason on the board along with the other three tight ends.
Pittsburgh Steelers: Alex Highsmith, 3-4 ROLB, Charlottte
C+ Grade
- Pittsburgh got this compensation pick at 102 thanks to Le'Veon Bell
signing with the New York Jets.
- The 6-3 248 lb Alex Highsmith had 21 tackles for a loss and 14 sacks in 2019. He has the body of a 3-4 outside linebacker rather than a 4-3 defensive end which was his natural position at Charlotte.
- Highsmith dominated Clemson left tackle Jackson Carman. Dabo Sweeney said Highsmith could play for any school in the country and that he's that good. He didn't wow me in Mobile or at the 2020 NFL Combine despite showcasing the production and tape that impressed NFL scouts this past season.
- Pittsburgh has T.J. Watt entering the final year of his rookie deal and will get a fifth year player option. Bud Dupree enters a contract year so Pittsburgh.
Philadelphia Eagles: Davion Taylor, ROLB, Colorado
A+ Grade
- Philadelphia got this compensation pick at 103 thanks to Nick Foles
signing with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
- The 6-0 224 lb Davion Taylor is versatile enough to play 4-3 right outside linebacker, 4-3 middle linebacker, 4-3 left outside linebacker, and 3-4 middle linebacker. He did well during practices in Mobile before running a 4.49 40-time at the 2020 NFL Combine.
- Philadelphia needs three different starting linebackers. They got their feature guy with Davion Taylor.
- Click this Davion Taylor Interview to hear Taylor rave about his former JUCO coach after one of the Senior Bowl practices.
Los Angeles Rams: Terrell Burgess, SS, Utah
B Grade
- Los Angeles got this compensation pick at 104 thanks to Rodger Saffold
signing with the Tennessee Titans.
- Los Angeles needs a strong safety. The 5-11 192 lb Terrell Burgess is versatile enough to play strong safety, free safety, or nickel cornerback with his versatility. He plays man coverage and zone coverage effectively, but press coverage is where he needs to improve.
New Orleans Saints: Adam Trautman, TE, Dayton
C Grade
- Minnesota got this compensation pick at 105 thanks to Sheldon
Richardson signing with the Cleveland Browns. They traded this pick to the New Orleans Saints.
- Adam Trautman is a reach here. New Orleans did not take one of the top three tight ends left on the board.
Balitmore Ravens: Tyre Phillips, LT, Mississippi State
C Grade
- Baltimore got this compensation pick at 106 thanks to C.J. Mosley
signing with the New York Jets.
- He pancaked Justin Madubuike. He's a backup offensive tackle behind left tackle Ronnie Stanley and right tackle Orlando Brown Jr.
