  1. F.C. Dallas: Matthew Bentley, F, Missouri State

F.C. Dallas takes the best forward on their board at 14 since this team is deep at midfielder and defense. Matthew Bentley is exactly what the doctor ordered for F.C. Dallas.

The 6-1 178 lb Matthew Bentley had 154 goals as a junior at a junior college in 2018. Matthew Bentley has the speed, stamina, shooting power, shooting accuracy, dribbling, strength, and explosion, you want a striker to have on tape. He had 15 goals, 4 assists, and 34 points in his only year at Missouri State.

  2. New York Red Bulls: Anders Engebretsen, F, St. Mary's

The New York Red Bulls grab the best player on the board at 15. The 5-8 150 lb Anders Engebretsen is the top prospect in the 2020 MLS Super Draft from Norway. He had 16 goals, 8 assists, and 40 points in 2019.

  3. Portland Timbers: Remi Prieur, G, St. Mary's

Portland grabs a goalie here for depth. They get the best player on the board and the top senior goalie in this draft at the moment in St. Mary's goalie Remi Prieur. The 6-1 195 lb Remi Prieur had 14 shutouts and an .873 save percentage in 2018. Prieur had 10 shutouts and an .770 save percentage so far in 2019. His save percentage was at .804 before UC Santa Barbara defeated St. Mary's 4-0 in the second round of the 2019 College Cup.

  4. F.C. Dallas: Manuel Ferriol, M, James Madison

The 5-11 150 lb Manuel Ferriol had 9 goals in 2018. Ferriol had 16 goals, 6 assists, and 38 points in 2019. Ferriol has done well enough to warrant top 5 consideration with his dominant season at James Madison. James Madison beat the top seed UNC Wilmington to win the CAA Tournament 1-0 in double overtime.

  5. Minnesota United F.C.: Noah Billingsley, D, UC Santa Barbara

Minnesota goes with the best player on the board at 18. The 6-2 180 lb Noah Billingsley helped UC Santa barbara record 12 shutouts as a center back in 2019.

  6. Toronto F.C.: Jesus Perez, M, UIC

Toronto F.C. takes the best player on the board at 19 with this pick from the Los Angeles Galaxy. Maybe Jesus Perez who led the NCAA with 12 assists in 2018 will be the answer. Perez had 6 goals, 8 assists, and 20 points in 2019.

  7. Real Salt Lake: Daniele Proch, F, Duke

Real Salt Lake drafts the best player on the board in the 5-8 150 lb Daniele Proch can play striker, secondary striker, left wing, right wing, or attacking midfielder with his versatility. Proch led Duke with 11 goals, 4 assists, and 26 points in 2018. Proch had 12 goals, 5 assists, and 29 points in 2019. Minnesota grabs the speedy forward out of Duke with this pick at twenty since he's the best overall player on the board as well as a player that stood out for Duke in the Duke VS Pittsburgh game that I attended as a scout.

  8. Philadelphia Union: Antonio Colacci, M, New Hampshire

The Philadelphia Union get a midfielder here for depth. Antonio Colacci is the best midfielder on the board. The 5-8 160 lb midfielder had 7 goals, 9 assists, and 23 points in 2019.

  9. New York City F.C.: Peder Kristiansen, D, Rhode Island

The 5-9 170 lb outside back has the versatility to play left back or right back. He's also fantastic with generating assists and can play on the wing as well at left wing or right wing. Basically he's a two way defender that can defend well at fullback while getting other teammates involved. New York City F.C. drafts Peder Kristiansen as a right back here.

  10. Atlanta United F.C.: Brian Saramago, F, Loyola-Maryland

Atlanta United F.C. has the luxury to ignore need and take the top player on the board. The 5-10 175 lb striker had 8 goals, 9 assists, and 25 points in 2019.

  11. LAFC: Nebjosa Popvich, F, Michigan

LAFC gets the best player on the board at 24. The 5-11 175 lb Nebjosa Popvich led Michigan in scoring in 2019 with 10 goals, 4 assists, and 24 points in 2019. Popvich did more for the Wolverines than Jack Hallahan which is why Nebjosa Popvich has a first round grade at the moment.

  12. Toronto F.C.: Malick Mbaye, D, Clemson
Toronto F.C. gets the best player on the board this late in the first round. The 6-0 171 lb Malick Mbaye is one of the better outside backs in this class. Toronto grabs him here as an outside back.

  13. Chicago Fire F.C.: Jorge Gonzalez, M, SIU Edwardsville

Chicago grabs a midfielder to wrap up the first round. The 5-10 165 lb Jorge Gonzalez had 8 goals, 1 assist, and 17 points in 2018. Jorge Gonzalez has 9 goals, 4 assists, and 22 points in 2019.
