This Quarterback class is to put in nicely, not exactly the strength of the class. Slightly better than the historically bad 2013 class, it would shock no one if zero franchise QBs came from it. I think a lot of these QBs have chances to be great backups and possibly solid starters but this isn't the year to take A QB in the first round.
Dwayne Haskins is a one year wonder but has the best tape and potential. The Biggest arm goes to Drew Lock, who elevated the Missouri program. He'll draw comparisons to a non mobile Josh Allen.
Will Grier, and Gardner Minshew will look to the recent success of Air Raid QB's in the NFL to boost their draft stock. Daniel Jones spent years under QB guru David Cutcliffe who groomed both Manning brothers. Then Kyler Murray is probably the most exciting QB but questions of his commitment have to be asked when thinking of taking him in the first round. Take your pick cause there is nothing resembling a sure thing in the 2019 QB class.

This is the first RB class is a few years lacking a first round talent. No Gurley, Barkley, or Zeke type “generational talents” here. However, there is some guys who should be starting RBs and contributors to offenses year one. Darrin Hall, Jordan Scarlett and Dexter Williams should all be mid to late round steals this year along with some others. A very solid and deep class, but not the spectacular ones we've been spoiled with the last few years. Much like the QB's you don't want to spend a first round pick at RB this year.

The 2019 NFL Draft is a very interesting year for Wide Receivers. N'Keal Harry looks to be a Julio Jones type athlete but his speed is in question. That's the story for this class with a few exceptions. Great receivers with questions about how fast they really are.
One of those exceptions are Marquis Brown the cousin of Steelers’ star Antonio Brown. He has the speed, and dynamic route running of a first round talent, but some will question taking a smaller receiver that early.
Overall, it's A great wide receiver class because of the depth of it. I expect Harry, Marquis Brown, and A.J. Brown all to have their names called night one. Teams will find great value at receiver through the first 5 rounds.

If it wasn't for the DL class Tight End would be the strongest position in the class. After years of weak tight end classes we have one that could go down in history as the best ever for the position. Though it's lacking depth, I truly believe there's at least 6 day one starters. Every NFL team should make drafting a tight end a priority within the first 3 rounds.

The 2019 Tackle class is very much what we've come to expect. One first round lock and some others who could sneak into the first round based off the value of the position. The top 3 guys Jonah Williams, Greg Little, and Jaawan Taylor are all players some might project to guards. I think they could all be impact players inside if that's what a team chooses to do. Andre Dillard is a prototype Left Tackle and could go higher than anyone expects. Down the line guys like Kaleb Mcgary, Alex Bookser, and Trevon Tate are all under the radar now but could be starting Right Tackles in the NFL year one.
Safest Player: Andre Dillard

21. Roger Joseph, Memphis
22. Greg Pipkins, Sioux Falls
23. Nate Davis, Charlotte
24. Tytus Howard, Alabama State
25. Ului Lapuaho, BYU
This is a strong guard class. It becomes even stronger if you project some of the smaller tackles inside. Cody Ford is a great option in the first round for any team wanting to bolster their line. Dalton Eisner plays with a mean streak that also could push him into the first. After those two there is a ton of guys who should be solid starters or backups in the NFL.
Safest Player: Dalton Risner
Sleeper: Zach Bailey
Boom or Bust: Olisaemeka Udoh
Best Potential: Cody Ford

An above average class of Centers this year. A lot of quality depth in this class. A few of these guys should be starting by the end of their rookie year. While the bottom of this center class should be guys who impress as undrafted free agents.

This is the strongest position group I've seen since I started covering the NFL draft for Draft Utopia. There's 10 Defensive lineman in this class with first round grades on my board. Ranking them all was the toughest part of this draft process because they are all so talented. It will be interesting to see how NFL teams value them with almost all of them being run first defenders, something the NFL has valued less in the draft recently. It should be a good mix of teams waiting on the position because of all the talent and players being too good of value for teams to pass on.

This is a very strong class of linebackers. Devin White is a Blue Chip prospect at the top. Just behind him are 5 guys who have a shot of hearing their names called Day 1. Absolute tackle machines and day one contributors should be available all throughout the first 4 rounds of the draft.
LB:
Safest Player: Devin White

28. Ryan Connelly, Wisconsin
29. Joe Dineen, Kansas
30. Jamal Davis, Akron
This is a very top heavy corner class. Greedy Williams is a good a corner prospect as there has been in the past few years. Murphy is also a stud that can lockdown guys on the outside but brings the ball Hawking and toughness of a safety. He has some Troy Polumalu to his game. Williams, Murphy, and Baker all should be first round picks, with Love, Mullen, Johnson, and Sheffield all having a chance to sneak in. I except little to no value to be left at corner past round 4.
Safest Player: Greedy Williams
Sleeper: Tae Hayes
Boom or Bust: Kendall Sheffield
Best Potential: Greedy Williams
CB:
1. Greedy Williams, LSU

26. Corey Balentine, Washburn
27. Clifton Duck, Appalachian State
28. Sean Bunting, Central Michigan
29. Jordan Miller, Washington
30. Isaiah Johnson, Houston
This a weaker safety class. I don't think there's a real first round talent in it. Both Miami safeties and Thompson from Alabama all could be day one starters in the NFL but are more of second round talents. The combine could be the key to launching one of them into the first round come draft night.
Safest Player: Jaquan Johnson
Sleeper: Kemon Hall
Boom or Bust: Lonnie Johnson
Best Potential: Deionte Thompson

21. Khalid McGee, South Florida
22. Jamal Dean, Auburn
23. Kyle Gibson, Central Florida
24. Mike Bell, Fresno State
25. Cam Glenn, Wake Forest
This is an average class for kickers. No guys who should hear their names called in the first four rounds. I think already two will be drafted, and the others should get shots to win a kicking competition.
K:
1. Matt Gay, Utah
2. John Barron, San Diego State
3. Cole Tracey, LSU
4. Emmit Carpenter, Minnesota
5. Austin Seibert, Oklahoma
Not a great year for punters. None are a sure thing to be selected.
P
1. Stone Wilson, Florida International
2. Jack Bailey, Stanford
3. Mitch Wisnowsky, Utah
4. Corey Fatoney, Missouri
5. Zach Donor, Oklahoma State
George Aston was a monster at Pitt last season. He's shown the ability to get it done as a blocker and playmaker. He deserves to be drafted sometime on day 3. Alex Ingold is another player worthy of a late round selection.
FB:
1. George Aston, Pittsburgh
2. Alec Ingold, Wisconsin
3. Reagan Williams, Stanford
4. Jacques Patrick, Florida State
5. Ryquell Armstead, Temple
