Tony Mario's 2025 NFL Mock Draft: Final Mock 7 Rounds

Round 3

Tony Mario follow @DraftUtopia Last Updated: April 24, 2025.

  1. New York Giants: Quinn Ewers, QB, Texas

New York has Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston on one year contracts. The New York Giants can role the dice on Quinn Ewers in the third round because if he fails to earn any playingtime you can just reload at quarterback in the 2026 NFL Draft.

    Other New York Giants Selections

  2. Kansas City Chiefs: Jaylin Noel, WR, Iowa State

Kansas City drafts a wide receiver that they can develop for a year. This wide receiver will replace Marques Brown when his contract is up in 2026.

    Other Kansas City Chiefs Selections

  3. Cleveland Browns: Bradyn Swinson, LE, LSU

The Cleveland Browns draft a defensive end to compete with Alex Wright and Joe Tryon for the 4-3 left end job next to Myles Garrett. Bradyn Swinson would get a chance to compete for a starting job, but there is no guarantee he would start right away.

    Other Cleveland Browns Selections

  4. Las Vegas Raiders: Quinshon Judkins, RB, Ohio State

Las Vegas gets a running back. Quinshon Judkins would be a day 1 starter on the Las Vegas Raiders.

    Other Las Vegas Raiders Selections

  5. New England Patriots: Jordan Burch, 3-4 LOLB, Oregon

New England gets a pass rusher that can start at 3-4 left outside linebacker next to Harold Landry III. Jordan Burch can play 4-3 right end, 4-3 left end, 3-4 right end, 3-4 left end, 3-4 right outside linebacker, and 3-4 left outside linebacker. He's more versatile than advertised.

    Other New England Patriots Selections

  6. Jacksonville Jaguars: Alfred Collins, DT, Texas

Jacksonville drafts the top defensive tackle available for depth. Another body for depth behind Da'Von Hamilton and Arik Armstead is needed. Hamilton has a post June 1st release while Jacksonville can cut Arik Armstead to save $3.2 million in cap space in 2026.

    Other Jacksonville Jaguars Selections

  7. New Orleans Saints: Cameron Williams, RT, Texas

New Orleans drafts an offensive tackle to push 2022 first round pick Trevor Penning for the right tackle job now that Ryan Ramczyk retires. Cameron Williams would compete with Trevor Penning for the right tackle job. I think Penning would win the job, but New Orleans would let him walk by 2026 or 2027 if he gets a fifth year tender.

    Other New Orleans Saints Selections

  8. Chicago Bears: Chris Paul Jr., MLB, Ole Miss

Chicago drafts Chris Paul Jr. to be their backup 4-3 middle linebacker in 2025. Chicago can buyout Tremaine Edmunds and save $15 million in cap space in 2026. This is a big reason why I believe Chicago will get the eventual replacement to Tremaine Edmunds in this draft.

    Other Chicago Bears Selections

  9. New York Jets: Mason Taylor, TE, LSU

The New York Jets get a tight end that can be a day 1 starter. LSU tight end Mason Taylor would end up starting right out of the gate.

    Other New York Jets Selections

  10. Carolina Panthers: Jalen Royals, WR, Utah State

Carolina gets a weapon for Bryce Young. Even if Xavier Legette, Adam Thielen, and Jalen Coker end up starting at wide receiver in 2025, Jalen Royals would start by 2026 at the very latest as a Adam Thielen replacement.

    Other Carolina Panthers Selections

  11. San Francisco 49ers: Danny Stutsman, ROLB, Oklahoma

San Francisco drafts a replacement for Dre Greenlaw. Danny Stutsman can play 4-3 right outside linebacker, 4-3 middle linebacker, and 4-3 left outside linebacker. Danny Stutsman gives San Francisco a third rookie that is a defensive starter.

    Other San Francisco 49ers Selections

  12. Dallas Cowboys: Jared Ivey, RE, Ole Miss

Dallas has Micah Parsons at 4-3 right end and Dorance Armstrong Jr. at 4-3 left end. Dallas drafts Jared Ivey as a backup to Micah Parsons for depth with Sam Williams entering the final year of his rookie deal.

    Other Dallas Cowboys Selections

  13. New England Patriots: Tory Horton, WR, Colorado State

New England drafts a wide receiver that can compliment Stefon Diggs. Tory Horton is a dark horse wide receiver that could end up as a day 1 starter. With how depleted New England is at wide receiver outside of Diggs, I can see Tory Horton being a day 1 starter at wide receiver for the New England Patriots.

    Other New England Patriots Selections

  14. Arizona Cardinals: Denzel Burke, CB, Ohio State

Arizona gets a cornerback here. Denzel Burke could end up becoming the number one cornerback on Arizona.

    Other Arizona Cardinals Selections

  15. Houston Texans: Lathan Ransom, SS, Ohio State

Houston drafts a strong safety since cutting C.J. Gardner-Johnson saves $5.34 million. Jimmie Ward is also a 2026 UFA at strong safety.

    Other Houston Texans Selections

  16. Indianapolis Colts: Joshua Farmer, DT, Florida State

Indianapolis gets a defensive tackle here. Joshua Farmer is my best defensive tackle on the board. Indianapolis can save $15.8 million in 2026 by cutting DeForest Buckner. Indianapolis can also save $12.25 million by cutting Grover Stewart the other starter at 4-3 defensive tackle.

    Other Indianapolis Colts Selections

  17. Cincinnati Bengals: Kaleb Johnson, RB, Iowa

Cincinnati grabs a change of pace running back that replaces Zack Moss in 2026. Iowa runninng back Kaleb Johnson would be a third string running back behind Chase Brown and Zack Moss. He could be the replacement to Moss in 2026. He could end up as the number one running back in Cincinnati down the road if Cincinnati does not want to bring back Chase Brown after his rookie deal.

    Other Cincinnati Bengals Selections

  18. Seattle Seahawks: Jalen Milroe, QB, Alabama

Seattle drafts another quarterback to groom for the future. Jalen Milroe would be a fourth string quarterback behind Sam Darnold, Drew Lock, and Sam Howell. He would be Seattle's backup by 2026, but he could also start in 2026 if Seattle buys out Sam Darnold after one year to save $8.3 million in cap space in the event that Sam Darnold is awful and if Jalen Milroe takes the NFL by storm. Two big ifs, but like with the New York Giants and Quinn Ewers at 65, the Seattle Seahawks have nothing to lose by gambling on Jalen Milroe here.

The 6-6 251 lb Luke Lachey had 28 receptions, 231 receiving yards, and 0 receiving touchdowns in 2024. He runs 10/30 routes on the route tree and is considered the best run blocking tight end in the 2025 NFL Draft despite only having 4 career touchdowns which all came in 2022.

    Other Seattle Seahawks Selections

  19. Pittsburgh Steelers: Deone Walker, NT, Kentucky

Pittsburgh drafts a nose tackle. Deone Walker replaces Montravious Adams as the backup 3-4 nose tackle on a rookie deal.

    Other Pittsburgh Steelers Selections

  20. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Quincy Riley, CB, Louisville

Tampa Bay probably does end up redshirting Quincy Riley, but I honestly believe Riley will be starting by 2026 at the very latest even if Tampa Bay eases him into the lineup. Tampa Bay's number one cornerback Zyon McCollum will be a UFA even though Quincey Riley does have the talent to replace him. Cutitng the number two cornerback Jamel Dean saves $11,216,000 in 2026 if they cut Dean, which they will have to if they opt to extend Zyon McCollum this summer. I'm not sure if Quincy Riley would replace McCollum or Dean, but it is safe to say he replaces one of those two.

    Other Tampa Bay Buccaneers Selections

  21. Denver Broncos: Terrance Ferguson, TE, Oregon

Denver drafts another tight end to compliment Evan Engram and Adam Trautman. Terrance Ferguson played with Bo Nix at Oregon and giving Nix another target he's familiar with like Troy Franklin his college teammate at Oregon for depth will only make things better for Bo Nix in year two.

    Other Denver Broncos Selections

  22. Los Angeles Chargers: Dorian Strong, CB, Virginia Tech

The Los Angeles Chargers get a cornerback for depth behind Cam Hart, Donte Jackson, and Tarheeb Still. Los Angeles can buyout Donte Jackson in 2026 and save $6 million in cap space if Dorian Strong manages to prove he's a viable starter as a rookie like both Cam Hart and Tarheeb Still did last year.

    Other Los Angeles Chargers Selections

  23. Green Bay Packers: Emery Jones Jr., RT, LSU

Green Bay drafts a right tackle that can take over for Zach Tom in 2026. Jordan Morgan last years first round pick can take over for right guard Sean Rhyan. This means the only player from the 2022 NFL Draft that Green Bay would have to extend is left tackle Rasheed Walker unless Morgan moves back to left tackle where he played in college.

    Other Green Bay Packers Selections

  24. Jacksonville Jaguars: Tate Ratlidge, RG, Georgia

Jacksonville drafts right guard here. Patrick Mekari did get a three year contract, but Tate Ratlidge has more upside. Also, Jacksonville can cut Patrick Mekari to save $166,667 in 2026. Tate Ratlidge might be the first player in this draft that has to wait until 2027 to start at right guard, but something tells me if Mekari gets hurt and Ratlidge gets a chance to play, Jacksonville will trade Mekari to another team.

    Other Jacksonville Jaguars Selections

  25. Houston Texans: Jamaree Caldwell, DT, Oregon

Houston gets a defensive tackle to pair with Sheldon Rankins. Jamaree Caldwell has a higher ceiling than Tim Settle and may be able to beat out Settle for the other starting defensive tackle spot as a rookie.

    Other Houston Texans Selections

  26. Los Angeles Rams: Tez Johnson, WR, Oregon

Los Angeles drafts Tez Johnson to replace Tutu Atwell. Los Angeles has Davante Adams, Puka Nacua, and Tutu Atwell as their starting wide receivers in 2025. Tutu Atwell is a UFA in 2026.

    Other Los Angeles Rams Selections

  27. Baltimore Ravens: Olafawemi Oladejo, 3-4 MLB, UCLA

Baltimore drafts a 3-4 middle linebacker for the future. Baltimore can save $11,278,250 if they buyout Roquan Smith at 3-4 middle linebacker. Baltimore can also keep Roquan Smith and Trenton Simpson stashing Oafawemi Oladejo for depth at 3-4 middle linebacker.

    Other Baltimore Ravens Selections

  28. Seattle Seahawks: Billy Bowman Jr., SS, Oklahoma

The Seattle Seahawks can move on from strong safety Coby Bryant after this season. They draft Billy Bowman Jr. to replace him in 2026 while keeping Julian Love at free safety.

    Other Seattle Seahawks Selections

  29. New Orleans Saints: Xavier Restrepo, WR, Miami FL

New Orleans uses this third round pick they got from the Washington Commanders in the Marshon Lattimore trade to get a weapon to compliment Chris Olave at wide receiver. Xavier Restrepo makes a lot of sense this late in the third round.

    Other New Orleans Saints Selections

  30. Cleveland Browns: Dylan Fairchild, LG, Georgia

Cleveland gets their future starting running back with this third round pick they received from the Buffalo Bills when trading wide receiver Amari Cooper to Buffalo. Dylan Fairchild will be Joel Bitonio's succesor at left guard. Zak Zinter will be Wyatt Teller's successor at right guard.

    Other Cleveland Browns Selections

  31. Kansas City Chiefs: Kevin Winston Jr., SS, Penn State

Kansas City drafts a strong safety to replace Justin Reid. Kevin Winston Jr. would be a day 1 starter in Kansas City.

    Other Kansas City Chiefs Selections

  32. Philadelphia Eagles: Smael Mondon Jr., 3-4 MLB, Georgia

Philadelphia gets a 3-4 middle linebacker. Right now Zack Baun and Nakobe Dean have one more year on their contracts. If Howie Roseman lets both walk, then Smael Mondon Jr. and Jeremiah Trotter Jr. would start inside at 3-4 middle linebacker in 2026. I think the Philadelphia Eagles can still win with Smael Mondon Jr. and Jeremiah Trotter Jr. at 3-4 middle linebacker.

    Other Philadelphia Eagles Selections

  33. Minnesota Vikings: Anthony Belton, LT, North Carolina State

The Minnesota Vikings get a swing tackle with their compensation pick. Minnesota can save $4.2 million in 2027 if they cut Christian Darrisaw then.

    Other Minnesota Vikings Selections

  34. Miami Dolphins: Omar Norman-Lott, NT, Tennessee

The Miami Dolphins use this third round compensation pick on a day 1 starter at nose tackle. Omar Norman-Lott would be a day 1 starter at nose tackle with how dire nose tackle has been on the Miami Dolphins since Christian Wilkins left.

    Other Miami Dolphins Selections

  35. New York Giants: Wyatt Milum, RT, West Virginia

The New York Giants get Wyatt Milum here. If he cannot beat out Jermaine Elumenor for the starting right tackle job he will have to compete with James Hudson the current favorite to win the backup left tackle job or Stone Forsyth the favorite to win the backup right tackle job. Joshua Ezeudu and Evan Neal two draft picks from the 2022 NFL Draft are the third string tackles. I'm not sure where Milum would end up on the depth chart, but I agree he would be an asset for the New York Giants on the offensive line with this third round compensation pick.

    Other New York Giants Selections

  36. San Francisco 49ers: Jared Wilson, C, Georgia

The San Francisco 49ers use this third round compensation pick on a day 1 starter at center. Georgia center Jared Wilson is my top center in the 2025 NFL Draft.

    Other San Francisco 49ers Selections

  37. Los Angeles Rams: Jacob Parrish, CB, Kansas State

The Los Angeles Rams use this third round compensation pick to get another cornerback that would start by his second year at the latest. Kansas State cornerback Jacob Parrish feels like he could be an asset to the Los Angeles Rams secondary at nickel cornerback.

    Other Los Angeles Rams Selections

  38. Detroit Lions: TJ Sanders, DT, South Carolina

The Detroit Lions use this third round compensation pick on an eventual player that could compliment Alim McNeil at 4-3 defensive tackle. TJ Sanders would take over for D.J. Reader whose a UFA in 2026.

    Other Detroit Lions Selections
