Tony Mario's 2025 NFL Mock Draft: Final Mock 7 Rounds

Round 6

Tony Mario follow @DraftUtopia Last Updated: April 24, 2025.

  1. Buffalo Bills: Brashard Smith, RB, SMU

Buffalo drafts a running back for depth behind Ray Davis. James Cook and Ty Johnson are both UFA's in 2026.

    Other Buffalo Bills Selections

  2. Tennessee Titans: Fadil Diggs, 3-4 ROLB, Syracuse

Tennessee gets a pass rusher here for depth. Tennesssee may have to start Fadil Diggs as a rookie at 3-4 right outside linebacker after losing Harold Landry. Right now Arden Key and Dre'Mont Jones are the projected starters at 3-4 right outside linebackers with zero depth if either pass rusher gets injured.

    Other Tennessee Titans Selections

  3. Cleveland Browns: Luke Lachey, TE, Iowa

The Cleveland Browns get a tight end with starter potential to be the number two tight end next to David Njoku. David Njoku enters the final year of his contract. Luke Lachey the Iowa tight end would be a good number two tight end next to Njoku, he could be the number one tight end in 2026 if Njoku leaves.

    Other Cleveland Browns Selections

  4. Las Vegas Raiders: Joshua Gray, LG, Oregon State

Las Vegas gets another day 1 starter at left guard. This gives the Las Vegas Raiders an offensive line with Kolton Miller at left tackle, Joshua Gray at left guard, Jackson Powers-Johnson at center, Dylan Parham at right guard, and DJ Glaze at right tackle. The Las Vegas Raiders have somehow managed to come away with 6 day 1 starters with their first pick. Those six players are Will Johnson at cornerback in the first round, Derrick Harmon in the second round at defensive tackle, Quinshon Judkins in the third round at running back, Savion Williams at wide receiver in the fourth round, Sebastian Castro at free safety next to strong safety Jeremy Chinn in the fifth round, and now Joshua Gray would start over Jordan Meredith who went undrafted in the 2022 NFL Draft at left guard in the sixth round. Las Vegas still has three more picks left.

    Other Las Vegas Raiders Selections

  5. Los Angeles Chargers: Cam Jackson, NT, Florida

The Los Angeles Chargers draft a nose tackle. Cam Jackson might be able to beat out Teair Tart and Naquon Jones for the 3-4 nose tackle job.

    Other Los Angeles Chargers Selections

  6. Jacksonville Jaguars: Kurtis Rourke, QB, Indiana

Jacksonville drafts a quarterback to compete with Nick Mullens for the backup job. The younger brother of former Jaguar Tanner Rourke should beat out John Wolford for the third string quarterback job in Jacksonville.

    Other Jacksonville Jaguars Selections

  7. Baltimore Ravens: Dante Trader Jr., FS, Maryland

Baltimore drafts a free safety for depth. Dante Trader Jr. would be a backup free safety to Kyle Hamilton in this scenario.

    Other Baltimore Ravens Selections

  8. New Orleans Saints: Cody Simon, ROLB, Ohio State

The New Orleans Saints get a linebacker for depth. Cody Simon can play right outside linebacker or middle linebacker in a 4-3 defense as well as 4-2-5 nickel defense.

    Other New Orleans Saints Selections

  9. Pittsburgh Steelers: Damien Martinez, RB, Miami FL

Pittsburgh's three running backs Jaylen Warren, Kenneth Gainwell, and Cordarrelle Patterson are all UFA's in 2026. Damien Martinez could be the starting running back in Pittsburgh by 2026.

    Other Pittsburgh Steelers Selections

  10. New York Jets: Riley Leonard, QB, Notre Dame

The New York Jets will start Justin Fields. They draft Riley Leonard to compete with Tyrod Taylor and Jordan Travis for the backup and third string gigs.

    Other New York Jets Selections

  11. Minnesota Vikings: Howard Cross III, NT, Notre Dame

Minnesota drafts a nose tackle for depth behind Harrison Phillips. Minnesota can buyout Harrison Phillips and save $7.5 million in cap space when 2026 rolls around. At the very worst, Howard Cross III is the backup nose tackle for two years and starts by 2027 if Minnesota does not buyout Harrison Phillips in 2026.

    Other Minnesota Vikings Selections

  12. Tennessee Titans: Nick Martin, 3-4 MLB, Oklahoma State

Tennessee needs another 3-4 middle linebacker next to Cody Barton. Nick Martin might be a day 1 starter for the Tennessee Titans in the sixth round.

    Other Tennessee Titans Selections

  13. Indianapolis Colts: Jason Marshall Jr., CB, Florida

Indianapolis is stacked at cornerback with Charvarius Ward, JuJu Brents, and Kenny Moore II as the starting cornerbacks. You also got Jaylon Jones as your number four cornerback and Corey Ballentine the number six cornerback in Green Bay last year as your number five cornerback. Jason Marshall Jr. can start out as the number six cornerback and try to work his way up the Indianapois Colts depth chart. If Jason Marshall Jr. does well enough to earn playing time as a rookie and does well which are two big ifs, then the Indianapolis Cotls can buyout Kenny Moore II while saving $10 million in cap space in 2026.

    Other Indianapolis Colts Selections

  14. Los Angeles Rams: Jalin Conyers, TE, Texas Tech

Los Angeles drafts a tight end for depth. Jalin Conyers can be a backup tight end to Tyler Higbee. Tyler Higbee enters a contract year as the Los Angeles Rams starting tight end.

    Other Los Angeles Rams Selections

  15. Denver Broncos: Isaac Teslaa, WR, Arkansas

Denver drafts a wide receiver for depth. Isaac Teslaa can give Denver a little bit more depth at wide receiver.

    Other Denver Broncos Selections

  16. Cleveland Browns: Eugene Asante, MLB, Auburn

Cleveland gets a middle linebacker to stash for a year with both Jordan Hicks and Jerome Baker in contract years. Eugene Asante was the middle linebacker at Auburn and ran a 4.48 40 yard dash. Cleveland can roll the dice on Asante hoping he becomes a starter by 2026 at this point this late in the 2025 NFL Draft.

    Other Cleveland Browns Selections

  17. Cincinnati Bengals: Hunter Woehler, SS, Wisconsin

Cincinnati drafts a safety for depth behind Jordan Battle at strong safety and Geno Stone at free safety. Chris mocked Hunter Woehler to Cincinnati in the third round and believes he could supplant Battle as Cincinnati's starting strong safety down the road. Safety isn't a huge need for Cincinnati, but rolling the dice on someone whose rough around the edges, but also has huge upside like Hunter Woehler would be a great way for the Cincinnati Bengals to end the 2025 NFL Draft.

    Other Cincinnati Bengals Selections

  18. Jacksonville Jaguars: Jay Higgins, MLB, Iowa

Jacksonville gets one more middle linebacker for depth. Jay Higgins could end up beating out Ventrell Miller for the backup middle linebacker job in training camp. He will not start until 2026 at the earliest and that's only if Jacksonville buys out Foyesade Oluokun which would save $3,416,000 in 2026. Jacksonville can also keep Foyesade Oluokun until 2027 and buy him out in 2027 which would save $9 million in cap space before he becomes a UFA. Jay Higgins does have potential as a starting middle linebacker. He could start as early as 2026, but as late as 2028 if Oluokun plays out the entirety of his contract. I'll say Jay Higgins ends up starting by 2027 after learning under Foyesade Oluokun for two years.

    Other Jacksonville Jaguars Selections

  19. Los Angeles Rams: Jackson Slater, LG, Sacramento State

Los Angeles gets a left guard for depth. Jackson Slater can play all five positions on the offensive line at left tackle, left guard, center, right guard, and right tackle. He's the only other player outside of Grey Zabel that can play all five spots on the offensive line.

    Other Los Angeles Rams Selections

  20. Detroit Lions: Akili Arnold, FS, USC

Detroit has Brian Branch and Kerby Joseph starting at safety. Akili Arnold will be a depth player, and would only start if Detroit is foolish enough to let Kerby Joseph walk.

    Other Detroit Lions Selections

  21. Denver Broncos: Tyler Barron, 3-4 LOLB, Miami FL

Denver gets a pass rusher for depth. Tyler Barron is a good depth option for the Denver Broncos this late in the sixth round.

    Other Denver Broncos Selections

  22. Green Bay Packers: Roc Taylor, WR, Memphis

Green Bay drafts another wide receiver. Neither Christian Watson or Romeo Doubs has done enough to warrant an extension. Roc Taylor can begin his rookie season as a backup, but he could end up being Jordan Love's number one target by 2026 if both Watson and Doubs leave Green Bay.

    Other Green Bay Packers Selections

  23. Los Angeles Chargers: Teddye Buchanan, 3-4 MLB, California

The Los Angeles Chargers get a 3-4 middle linebacker for depth. The Los Angeles Chargers have quality starters at middle linebacker, but depth inside could be improved at middle linebacker.

    Other Los Angeles Chargers Selections

  24. Cleveland Browns: Chimire Dike, WR, Florida

Cleveland gets a wide receiver for the slot receiver job. Right now Michael Woods II, Jamari Thrash, DeAndre Carter, and David Bell are competing for the slot receiver job to replace Elijah Moore. Jerry Jeudy and Cedric Tillman are on the outside. Chimire Dike could end up beating all of those guys out for a slot receiver job in Cleveland even though he would be a long shot to win that competition as a rookie.

    Other Cleveland Browns Selections

  25. Los Angeles Rams: Nazir Stackhouse, NT, Georgia

Los Angeles gets a nose tackle. Nazir Stackhouse is a good replacement to Bobby Brown IV and can potentially be a day 1 starter this late in the 2025 NFL Draft.

    Other Los Angeles Rams Selections

  26. Los Angeles Rams: RJ Harvey, RB, Central Florida

Los Angeles drafts a running back for depth to learn under Kyren Williams and Blake Corum. Kyren Williams enters the final year of his rookie deal, but I have a feeling Williams will get extended this summer. Los Angeles can always franchise tag Kyren Williams in 2026 if they don't want to extend him too.

    Other Los Angeles Rams Selections

  27. Baltimore Ravens: Clay Webb, LG, Jacksonville State

Baltimore brings in competition for Andrew Vorhees at left guard. Jacksonville State left guard Clay Webb could win the left guard job.

    Other Baltimore Ravens Selections

  28. Dallas Cowboys: Justin Walley, CB, Minnesota

The Dallas Cowboys draft a cornerback. Justin Walley is one of the day 3 steals in this draft and I think he could beat out Isreal Mukuamu and Caelen Carson for the nickel cornerback job.

    Other Dallas Cowboys Selections

  29. Washington Commanders: Jaylin Smith, CB, USC

Washington drafts a cornerback for depth. Jaylin Smith is my top cornerback left on the board.

    Other Washington Commanders Selections

  30. Buffalo Bills: Luke Kandra, RG, Cincinnati

Buffalo gets Luke Kandra as a backup right guard to O'Cyrus Torrence. This is an excellent value pick by Buffalo in the sixth round. Especially if the Bills do not want to extend O'Cyrus Torrence after his rookie deal since Kandra would have two years left on his rookie deal when O'Cyrus Torrence rookie contract expires.

    Other Buffalo Bills Selections

  31. New York Jets: Vernon Broughton, DT, Texas

New York drafts a defensive tackle for depth. Vernon Broughton can be a good backup defensive tackle.

    Other New York Jets Selections

  32. Denver Broncos: O'Donnell Fortune, CB, South Carolina

Denver drafts a cornerback for depth. Even if Denver adds one more cornerback, that cornerback will be a backup in a depth role.

    Other Denver Broncos Selections

  33. Los Angeles Chargers: Marquis Sigle, FS, Kansas State

The Los Angeles Chargers get a replacement to Alohi Gilman with this sixth round comp pick. Marquis Sigle is one player that the Los Angeles Chargers could get here.

    Other Los Angeles Chargers Selections

  34. Baltimore Ravens: Kobe King, 3-4 MLB, Penn State

The Baltimore Ravens get a second 3-4 middle linebacker with this sixth round comp pick. With Malik Harrison gone, there is no depth behind Roquan Smith and Trenton Simpson at 3-4 middle linebacker if injuries occur. I already mocked Olafawemi Oladejo as one backup 3-4 middle linebacker and I am mocking another 3-4 middle linebacker for depth in Kobe King.

    Other Baltimore Ravens Selections

  35. Dallas Cowboys: Rylie Mills, DT, Notre Dame

The Dallas Cowboys gets a fourth defensive tackle for depth with this sixth round comp pick. Osa Odighizuwa and Mazi Smith are the starting defnensive tackles. Solomon Thomas is the number three defenisve tackle for depth. Dallas does need a fourth defensive tackle for depth. Rylie Mills does have upside to be a starter down the road, but needs to start out as a backup and work his way up the depth chart. Dallas can buyout Osa Odighizuwa in 2027 or 2028 which is when the fifth year tender on Mazi Smith's rookie deal would take effect as the Dallas Cowboys 2023 first round pick. Dallas would save $12.5 million if they cut Osa Odighizuwa in 2027. Even if Rylie Mills starts out in a depth role, his presence will push both Osa Odighizuwa and Mazi Smith to be better.

    Other Dallas Cowboys Selections

  36. Baltimore Ravens: Raheim Sanders, RB, South Carolina

The Baltimore Ravens get a running back for depth with this sixth round compensation pick. Raheim Sanders will most likely spend his rookie season on Baltimore's practice squad with Derrick Henry, Justice Hill, Keaton Mitchell, and Rasheen Ali all under contract for 2025. Henry and Hill do enter contract years which is why it does make sense to reload at running back with a late round pick in such a deep running back class.

    Other Baltimore Ravens Selections

  37. Las Vegas Raiders: Kaimon Rucker, LE, North Carolina

The Las Vegas Raiders get this sixth round comp pick to get that fourth pass rusher at defensive end. Malcolm Koonce and Maxx Crosby are back. Tyree Wilson is the situational pass rusher. Kaimon Rucker would begin as the number four defensive end on this roster as the second and final second team defensive end on the Las Vegas Raiders depth chart.

    Other Las Vegas Raiders Selections

  38. Los Angeles Chargers: Thomas Perry, C, Middlebury

The Los Angeles Chargers grab a center for depth behind Bradley Bozeman. Thomas Perry played left guard at Middlebury for three years, but projects as an NFL center and got experience playing center at the 2025 East West Shrine Bowl. Thomas Perry eats 12 eggs for breakfast and drinks 3 glasses of milk before class and practice. He had a 3.79 GPA. He entered Middlebury at 250 and gained 60 lbs of muscle in 4 years at Middlebury. Thomas Perry's work ethic really speaks for itself.

    Other Los Angeles Chargers Selections

  39. Las Vegas Raiders: Collin Oliver, ROLB, Oklahoma State

The Las Vegas Raiders get a outside linebacker for depth with this sixth round comp pick. Collin Oliver is a great value pick here.

    Other Las Vegas Raiders Selections

  40. Cleveland Browns: Zeek Biggers, DT, Georgia Tech

The Cleveland Browns use a sixth round comp pick on a defensive tackle. Zeek Biggers is someone who may end up having to start at defensive tackle as a rookie, but as long as Maliek Collins and Shelby Harris are healthy he will be eased in. Michael Hall Jr. is the number three defensive tackle meaning Zeek Biggers would be the number four defensive tackle at best.

    Other Cleveland Browns Selections
