St. Louis Blues Forwards Review: St. Louis seems to have one good line of forwards. Terasenko is going to have to carry the Blues on offense like he did last year otherwise this team will have a very brief playoff stint this time around.

In 2016-2017, the St. Louis Blues ranked 12th in goals scored and 8th on the power play. With a lot of the players they lost, I expect those numbers to take a huge fall in 2017-2018.

St. Louis Blues Defensemen Review: St. Louis appeared to be really thin at defense last year. The Blues biggest strength is their defense on the blue line. They have guys who know their roles and Alex Pieterangelo is going to lead the way up front.

St. Louis was 12th in goals allowed and 3rd in penalty killing in 2016-2017. If the defense plays this well, then the Blues will return to the 2018 Stanley Cup Playoffs.

St. Louis Blues Goaltender Review: St. Louis has Jake Allen. Allen can be a reliable goalie.

St. Louis Blues Prospect Pool: St. Louis has a thin prospect pool right now. That's the one weakness of this team.

St. Louis Blues 2017-2018 Prediction

Everyone expects the Blues to return to the playoffs because they flat out dominated. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that the Blues find a way to disappoint everyone. I'm torn on them and the Los Angeles Kings for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference. I'm leaning towards the Kings to get that final spot, but it's really close. I just doubt what the Blues have on offense.
