This series was tied 3-3 heading into game 7 of the 2019 Stanley Cup Finals. Whoever won this game would be the 2019 Stanley Cup Champion. The latst two road teams the 2011 Boston Bruins and the 2009 Pittsburgh Penguins both won game 7 to win the Stanley Cup on the road. The 2006 Carolina Hurricanes were the last team to win a game 7 on home ice to win the Stanley Cup Finals.

Boston outshot St. Louis 12-4 in the first period. Despite that, St. Louis scored twice in the first period. Ryan O'Reilly got the first goal of the game. Defenseman and team captain Alex Pietrangelo got the second goal to give the St. Louis Blues a 2-0 lead after one period of play.

Boston outshot the St. Louis Blues 11-6 in the second period. Boston outshot the Blues 23-10 after two periods of play. St. Louis still led 2-0 after two periods of play.

Both teams had 10 shots on goal in the third period. Bryaden Schenn gave the Blues a 3-0 lead. St. Louis took a 4-0 lead. Boston scored late, but it didn't matter. The St. Louis Blues won 4-1.

St. Louis won this game. They won their first Stanley Cup Finals in team history after getting swept in their previous three appearances. The St. Louis Blues are your 2019 Stanley Cup Champions.
