Rob Whalen May Make Atlanta Braves Starting Rotation In 2017

The Atlanta Braves have a future pitcher in Rob Whalen. Whalen went 0-1 with 1.93 ERA in 3 starts with the Gwinnett Braves.


Most experts believe Whalen will be a #4 starter with the Braves. I could see Whalen as a #4 starter, #5 starter, long reliever, middle reliever, or a set-up pitcher. I think Whalen would do better in the bullpen. Whalen is probably going to start for the Atlanta Braves though at some point in 2017 as a #4 or #5 starter.
