Matt Chapman May Make Oakland Athletics Batting Lineup In 2017

Matt Chapman was Oakland's 2014 first round pick who played third baseman at Cal State Fullerton. Chapman got promoted to AA very quickly and helped the Midland Rockhounds win a AA title in 2015.
Third base is one of the positions Oakland can upgrade. Hopefully they don't rush Chapman since he posted a miserable .197 batting average on the Nashville Sounds in AAA.
I see Chapman as a guy that can be a 4-tool player. The only thing Chapman needs to improve is his batting average, but the potential to be a great infielder is there.
Chapman should be a midseason call up. Bringing Chapman up to Oakland right away for the start of the 2017 season would not be very smart.
