J.P. Crawford May Be Philadelphia Phillies Starting Shortstop In 2017

The Philadelphia Phillies drafted J.P. Crawford sixteenth overall in the 2013 MLB Draft. Crawford had 30 RBI's on the Lehigh Valley IronPigs before suffering a season ending injury.
Philadelphia needs an upgrade at shortstop. Rushing Crawford is not smart whne you consider his .243 batting average in AAA is lower than his .265 batting average in AA.
Five of the Phillies top 30 prospects are currently in AAA. Crawford is their top ranked prospect, and he may be ready for the MLB in 2017.
