Denver Nuggets 2017 Season Preview

Denver seems like a doormat team once again. Ty Lawson may be gone, but I like Emmanuel Mudiay much better. Denver got a huge steal with Mudiay at 7. I think Kenneth Fairied is a solid power forward and Wilson Chandler who led the Nuggets with 13.9 points per game at small forward is a solid piece as well.
Denver has some legit starting forwards. At the end of the day this teams success will rest on Emmanuel Mudiay. If Mudiay does well, but the team fails to make the playoffs then Denver will have to use their pick or the Knicks pick to get a guy like Kentucky center Skai Labissiere.
Denver still needs a starter at shooting guard and center before they contend. If the Nuggets end up with Labissiere in a year from now then this team will improve enough to compete. For now the Nuggets will rely on Mudiay to help them out right away.
