Christian Binford May Make Kansas City Royals Starting Rotation In 2017

Christian Binford is not a pitcher I would be comfortable with bringing up. Unfortunately, for the Royals, their farm system is so thin that Binford may be the next man up.
To make matters worse, Edison Volquez, the Royals ace pitcher will be a Free Agent in 2017. Someone may get promoted and the only starting pitcher on the Omaha Storm Chasers that may garner a promotion is Christian Binford.
Binford went 3-12 with a 5.18 ERA. This is not the type of pitcher I'd want on my MLB roster, but the Royals are sort of stuck unless Volquez returns to the Royals in 2017.
