Tennessee drafts a 3-4 left end to compliment Jeffrey Simmons at 3-4 right end and T'Vondre Sweat at 3-4 nose tackle. Jordan Burch can play left end in either a 4-3 or a 3-4 scheme. He can also play right end on either side much like last years prospect Brandon Dorlus.
The 6-4 291 lb Jordan Burch had 13 solo tackles, 18 assisted tackles, 31 total tackles, 11 tackles for a loss, 8.5 sacks, 6 deflections from pass breakups, and 4 quarterback hurries in 2024. Jordan Burch showed promise in 2023 as I was higher on him than Brandon Dorlus even though Dorlus got drafted. Burch showed he could be the man at Oregon without Dorlus.
The Cleveland Browns draft a middle linebacker for the future. This is sort of a luxury pick in the fourth round if Cleveland gets Hunter, a left tackle at 33, a quarterback at 67, and a running back at 94. The best player on my board in day 3 with a third round grade is Iowa middle linebacker Jay Higgins, who can develop for a year before taking over as the starting middle linebacker in 2026 since both of the Cleveland Browns current middle linebackers in Jordan Hicks and Jerome Baker are UFA's in 2026.
The 6-0 224 lb Jay Higgins had 79 solo tackles, 92 assisted tackles, 5 tackles for a loss, 4 deflections from pass brekaups, 4 quarterback hurries, 2 sacks, 1 forced fumble, and 1 interception in 2023. Jay Higgins had 53 solo tackles, 71 assisted tackles, 124 total tackles, 6 quarterback hurries, 5 deflections from pass breakups, 4 interceptions, 2 forced fumbles, 1 sack, and 1 fumble recovery in 2024.
Jay Higgins is very consistent in terms of being a tackling machine. Jay Higgins entered the year as a day 3 pick for me, but he did enough to move into day 2. He may fall to the fourth round due to a 4.82 40 yard dash and continuing to miss tackles on film. Higgins looks a lot better in coverage versus last year and he has imprvoed as a tackler on film in terms of technique despite not matching his total tackles from 2023. Jay Higgins looks far more lethal as a run stuffer when watching him against Ohio State this year.
Jay Higgins favorite linebackers to watch on film are Ray Lewis, Brian Urlacher, Luke Kuechly, Bobby Wagner, and Patrick Willis are the top 5 linebackers he watches the most film on during his free time.
New York drafts a running back that can be the future starting running back. One running back that I am much higher on than the consensus is Liberty running back Quinton Cooley.
The 5-7 225 lb Quinton Cooley had 221 carries,1,401 rushing yards, 16 rushing touchdowns, 6 receptions, 43 receiving yards, 0 receiving touchdowns, 227 touches, 1,444 total yards, and 16 total touchdowns in 2023. Quinton Cooley had 205 carries, 1,254 rushing yards, 13 rushing touchdowns, 1 reception, 9 receiving yards, 0 receiving touchdowns, 206 touches, 1,263 total yards, and 13 total touchdowns in 2024.
Quinton Cooley had a preseason third round grade for me. His tape showed he could run the football, catch out of the backdfield, and demonstrate good ball carrier vision. I have Cooley at 103 on my big board as the top fourth round prospect, but there are some teams that have removed Cooley on their boards. Cooley only ran for 37 rushing yards against a winless Kennesaw State team that defeated a then undefeated Liberty team. Cooley also reportedly ran a 4.71 40-yard dash at Liberty's Pro Day. The height with him being 5-7 also hinders his chances of getting drafted. I think Cooley has the upside to be the New York Giants starting running back, at the same token, I will not be surprised if he ends up going undrafted and being the James Robinson of the 2025 NFL Draft. Quinton Cooley is the best running back at executing spin moves outside of RJ Harvey.
New England gets a right tackle to develop behind Morgan Moses for a year. Boston College offensive tackle Ozzy Trapilo has the versatility to play both left tackle and right tackle. He's also my final third round prospect still on the board.
The 6-7 321 lb Ozzy Trapilo has the pass blocking, pass blocking strength, pass blocking footwork, run blocking, run blocking strength, run blocking footwork, zone blocking, pancake blocking, pull blocking, and cut blocking you want from a left tackle or a right tackle. He's more refined as a run blocker money on running plays. His techinique as a pass blocker is inconsistent as both his pass blocking footwork and pass blocking strength is more inconsistent than you'd like.
Ozzy Trapilo could be a great bookend to Will Campbell at right tackle. Especially if he gets the opportunity to refine his pass protection by learning under a veteran like Morgan Moses for a year.
Jacksonville drafts the top player on my board in the fourth round. Trey Amos is a steal at this point. Super high floor, but has the ceiling of an above average starter or a high end starter. I don't see a Pro Bowl cornerback like some people do.
The 5-11 194 lb Trey Amos had 39 solo tackles, 11 assisted tackles, 50 total tackles, 13 deflections from pass breakups, 3.5 tackles fora loss, 3 interceptions, and 1 forced fumble in 2024. I gave Trey Amos an A grade in man coverage, a B grade in zone coverage, and a C grade in press coverage. Trey Amos can play in a cover 0, cover 1, or cover 2 defense. That feels what he's limited to. Trey Amos will thrive in a defense where he's only playing man coverage, but I don't think he's the first round prospect some have hyped him up to be similar to Emmanuel Forbes coming out of Mississippi State, but Trey Amos has gained a ton of traction leading up to the 2025 NFL Draft.
Las Vegas gets a quarterback. Dillon Gabriel is the only quarterback with potential to become a starting quarterback left on my board.
The 5-10 202 lb Dillon Gabriel had 3,660 passing yards, 30 passing touchdowns, 373 rushing yards, 12 rushing touchdowns, 4,033 total yards, 42 total touchdowns, 6 interceptions, and a 69.3% completion percentage at Oklahoma in 2023. Dillon Gabriel had 3,857 passing yards, 30 passing touchdowns, 149 rushing yards, 7 rushing touchdowns, 4,006 total yards, 37 total touchdowns, and 7 interceptions at Oregon in 2024. Dillon Gabriel led Oregon to an undefeated regular season at quarterback before getting humiliated against the eventual national champion, Ohio State in the quarterfinals of the first 12 team College Football Playoff.
I posted a film cut of Oklahoma quarterback Dillon Gabriel versus Texas. Dillon Gabriel transferred to Oregon for the 2024 College Football Season.
There's one wide receiver left on my big board with a floor grade of 60/99 and a ceiling grade for potential of 90/99. That wide receiver is Ole Miss wide receiver Antwane Wells Jr. He looked like a Pro Bowl wide receiver at James Madison in 2021, but he hasn't played at that level in 3 years. Buffalo can roll the dice on Antwane Wells Jr. in the fourth round.
The 6-1 201 lb Antwane Wells Jr. had 28 receptions, 553 receiving yards, and 6 receiving touchdowns in 2024. He only ran three routes out of thirty with a post route, a streak route, and a curl route as the only routes he ran against Kentucky. He also had 2 drops in that game. Antwane Wells Jr. also ran a 4.58 40-yard dash.
Buffalo gets a wide receiver for depth to compliment Khalil Shakir, Josh Palmer, and Keon Coleman. Antwane Wells Jr. probably will not reach his ceiling, but the Buffalo Bills have the luxury to gamble on him in the fourth round since Antwane Wells Jr. has the highest potential of any wide receiver left on my board. He would start out as a number five wide receiver behind Shakir, Palmer, Coleman, and Curtis Samuel on this depth chart. He could work hsi way up Buffalo's depth chart.
The 6-6 275 lb Xavier Carlton played 3-4 right outside linebacker at California. He didn't get a combine invite, but has a potential grade of 85/99 making him my top player on California in the 2025 NFL Draft with Jayden Ott going back to college only to transfer to Oklahoma.
Xavier Carlton had 21 solo tackles, 26 assisted tackles, 47 total tackles, 11 takcles for a loss, 9 sacks, 8 quarterback hurries, and 1 deflection from a pass breakup in 2024. Xavier Carlton is versatile enough to play 4-3 right outside linebacker, 3-4 right outside linebacker, and 4-3 right end. Both the Jacksonville Jaguars and New York Jets met with him after California's Pro Day.
Carolina has Josey Jewell and Trevin Wallace at 3-4 middle linebacker. Josey Jewell is only back for one more year while Trevin Wallace is on a rookie deal despite being a guy I wasn't very high on. Jack Kiser has more upside than both of those 3-4 middle linebackers and warrants a flyer at this point in the fourth round.
The 6-1 227 lb Jack Kiser had 55 solo tackles, 35 assisted tackles, 90 total tackles, 5 tackles fora loss, 3 quarterback hurries, 2 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, and 1 deflection from a pass breakup in 2024. Jack Kiser is one of the best run stuffers in this draft. His pass rushing and coverage is good as well.
New Orleans drafts a defensive tackle to stash and develop for depth. Texas A&M defensive tackle Shemar Turner is the top defensive tackle on the board.
The 6-3 290 lb Shemar Turner had 20 solo tackles, 16 assisted tackles, 36 total tackles, 5.5 tackles for a loss, 2 sacks, 1 quarterback hurry, 1 deflection from a pass breakup, and 1 forced fumble. Shemar Turner has a day 2 even a day 1 grade in some mock drafts, but his tape against LSU is reflective of a day 3 pick in the fourth round.
San Francisco needs multiple starters at 4-3 defensive tackle. I gave San Francisco Tyleik Williams in the second round, but am pairing him with Georgia defensive tackle Nazir Stackhouse two rounds later. This gives San Francisco a defensive line with Nick Bosa at 4-3 right end, Tyliek Williams at 4-3 defensive tackle, Nazir Stackhouse at 4-3 defensive tackle, and James Pearce Jr.at 4-3 left end. You would also have Nick Jackson competing with Dee Winters for playing time at 4-3 right outside linebacker and Fred Warner at 4-3 middle linebacker. These additions revamp San Francisco's front 7.
The 6-4 327 lb Nazir Stackhouse had 10 solo tackles, 17 assisted tackles, 27 total tackles, 1 tackle for a loss, and 1 deflection from a pass breakup. Nazir Stackhouse has the pass rushing, run stuffing, block shedding, and rip moves that you want in a defensive tackle. Nazir Stackhouse showed the versatility to play 4-3 defensive tackle, 3-4 right end, 3-4 nose tackle, and 3-4 left end. He's someone you can plug and play on your interior defensive line regardless of what scheme you run.
Carolina drafts a wide receiver to push Jalen Coker for the slot receiver. Stanford wide receiver Elic Ayomanor has great value at this point in the fourth round.
The 6-2 206 lb Elic Ayomanor had 62 receptions, 1,013 receiving yards, and 6 receiving touchdowns as a freshman redshirt in 2023. Elic Ayomanor had 63 receptions, 831 receiving yards, and 6 receiving touchdowns in 2024.
Elic Ayomanor can run all 30 routes on the route tree making the Ayomanor the fifth wide receiver in this draft to do that. He had 21 drops in 2024 in the 19 minutes of film I watched showing every targeted pass thrown his way in 2024. That's a big reason why Elic Ayomanor fell all the way to the fourth round of my mock draft.
Arizona gets a 3-4 middle linebacker for depth. Smael Mondon Jr. is my best player on the board.
The 6-1 229 lb Smael Mondon Jr. had 49 solo tackles, 27 assisted tackles, 76 total tackles, 8 tackles for a loss, 5 quarterback hurries, 1 deflection from a pass breakup, and 1 sack in 2022. Smael Mondon Jr. had 42 solo tackles, 26 assisted tackles, 68 total tackles, 5 tackles for a loss, 3 sacks, 2 quarterback hurries, and 1 deflection from a pass breakup in 2023. Smael Mondon Jr. had 29 solo tackles, 28 assisted tackles, 3.5 tackles for a loss, 3 sacks, and 3 deflections from pass breakups in 2024.
Smael Mondon Jr. has the pass rushing, run stuffing, and coverage you want from a 3-4 middle linebacker. He has a lot of traits that stand out on film as his zone coverage made things more difficult for Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe in Alabama's win over Georgia.
Miami drafts a slot receiver that can compliment Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle. Texas wide receiver Isaiah Bond is the best wide receiver on the board.
The 5-11 180 lb Isaiah Bond had 34 receptions, 540 receiving yards, and 5 receiving touchdowns. Isaiah Bond ran 15/30 routes on the route tree.
Indianapolis cannot allow Drew Ogletree to see the field under any circumstances. This is the biggest reason I mocked a second tight end to the Indianapolis Colts in the fourth round.
The 6-4 245 lb Terrance Ferguson had 43 receptions, 591 receiving yards, and 3 receiving touchdowns in 2024. Terrance Ferguson ran 21/30 routes on film. Terrance Ferguson is also the one tight end that both pass blocks and run blocks effectively.
Atlanta drafts a slot receiver to compliment Drake London and Darnell Mooney. Iowa State wide receiver Jayden Higgins is my best player on the board.
The 6-3 217 lb Jayden Higgins had 87 receptions, 1,183 receiving yards, and 9 receiving touchdowns in 2024. Jayden Higgins is the sixth different wide receiver in the 2025 NFL Draft to run all 30 routes on the route tree.
Jayden Higgins ran a 4.47 40-yard dash at the 2025 NFL Combine. Jayden Higgins checks off a lot of boxes at wide receiver and I will not be shocked if he goes a lot eariler than where I am projecting him to go.
Cincinnati grabs a center for depth. Cincinnati could draft a guy to be their future starting center. Georgia center Jared Wilson my second best center in the 2025 NFL Draft.
The 6-3 310 lb Jared Wilson has the pass blocking, pass blocking strength, pass blocking footwork, run blocking, run blocking strength, run blocking footwork, and zone blocking you want from a center. Jared Wilson could be Cincinnati's starting center hiking the football to Joe Burrow by 2026, maybe sooner if Jared Wilson can beat out Ted Karras for the starting center job as a rookie.
Tennessee drafts a wide receiver that can push for the slot receiver job. One wide receiver that I am much higher on than the consensus is Memphis wide receiver Roc Taylor. Out of all the wide receivers that I have mocked to teams so far, the only wide receiver that caught a touchdown in double coverage was Roc Taylor. I saw Roc Taylor catch four passes in traffic when watching his game film from the 2024 College Football Season.
The 6-2 213 lb Roc Taylor had 66 receptions, 950 receiving yards, and 2 receiving touchdowns. Roc Taylor was the seventh wide receiver that ran all 30 routes on the route tree. Roc Taylor ran a 4.49 40-yard dash at the 2025 NFL Combine.
Tampa Bay gets a left guard here. That is the one position that could use an upgrade on the offensive line.
The 6-5 299 lb Joshua Gray has the pass blocking, run blocking, and zone blocking you want in an NFL left guard. His pass blocking strength, pass blocking footwork, run blocking strength, and run blocking footwork could use some refinement at the next level. Still, he's the top left guard on the board at this point in the fourth round.
Denver drafts a weapon hoping to find a number two wide receiver next to Courtland Sutton long-term. I like Marvin Mims Jr. as a slot receiver, but not a number two target. Devaughn Vele is the slot receiver and Troy Franklin is the number four target. If Denver drafts another wide receiver in the fourth round, that will be the number five target at worst and could be the number two target at best.
The 5-10 182 lb Kyle Williams had 70 receptions, 1,198 receiving yards, and 14 receiving touchdowns in 2024. Kyle Williams ran all 30 routes on the route tree making him the eighth different wide receiver in the 2025 NFL Draft to accomplish that.
Pittsburgh drafts a second wide receiver. The best player on my big board is a wide receiver, so Pittsburgh drafts another wide receiver to stash for depth.
The 5-8 175 lb Brennan Presley had 90 receptions, 767 receiving yards, and 7 receiving touchdowns in 2024. Brennan Presley ran 19/30 routes on the route tree. Brennan Pressley was the only other wide receiver outside of Roc Taylor to catch a pass in double coverage.
Green Bay drafts a wide receiver. I doubt either Christian Watson or Romeo Doubs gets extended. Jayden Reed and Dontayvion Wicks have played well through the first two years of their rookie deals, but I"m not sure either of them has broken out enough to earn an extension. Jalen Royals can start out as a backup, but he could end up as the number one wide receiver to Jordan Love by the end of the 2025 NFL Season since I believe his upside is higher than both Jayden Reed and Dontayvion Wicks. Watson and Doubs will both be UFA's in 2026.
The 5-11 210 lb Jalen Royals had 55 receptions, 834 receiving yards, and 6 receiving touchdowns in 2024. Jalen Royals is the ninth different wide receiver that can run all 30 routes on the route tree.
The Los Angeles Chargers get a backup left tackle allowing Trey Pipkins III to be the backup right tackle to Joe Alt. Charles Grant of William & Mary is a player to keep an eye on.
The 6-5 311 lb Charles Grant pass blocking, pass blocking strength, pass blocking footwork, run blocking, run blocking strength, run blocking footwork, zone blocking, pancake blocking, pull blocking, and cut blocking you want from a left tackle. Spencer Brown had 11 pancake blocks in one game for Northern Iowa before the 2021 NFL Draft. Charles Grant broke that record with 12 pancake blocks in one game.
Jacksonville drafts a defensive tackle for depth behind Da'Von Hamilton and Arik Armstead. Utah defensive tackle Junior Tafuna is a great fit here.
The 6-2 303 lb Junior Tafuna had 9 solo tackles, 22 assisted tackles, 31 total tackles, 4 deflections from a pass breakup, 3 tackles for a loss, 2 quarterback hurries, 1 interception, and a 0.5 sack in 2024. Junior Tafuna has the pass rushing, run stuffing, and coverage you want from a defensive tackle.
Los Angeles drafts a tight end for depth behind Tyler Higbee. Texas tight end Gunnar Helm is my best player on the board at this point in the fourth round.
The 6-5 241 lb Gunnar Helm had 60 receptions, 786 receiving yards, and 7 receiving touchowns in 2024. He's the fifth tight end I've watched that ran all 30 routes on the route tree.
Washington drafts a center to stash and develop behind Tyler Biadasz. Seth McLaughlin has the ability to be a future starting center.
The 6-4 304 lb Seth McLaughlin pass blocking, pass blocking strength, pass blocking footwork, run blocking, run blocking strength, run blocking footwork, and zone blocking you want from a center. Seth McLaughlin may have been able to make a case for being the first center drafted if he avoided a season ending injury.
Baltimore drafts a second tight end. Mark Andrews, Isaiah Likley, and Charlie Kolar are all UFA's in 2026. I mocked Colston Loveland in the first round, but the second tight end I mock to Baltimore would replace Likely or Kolar with the other guy getting extended on a team friendly deal.
The 6-5 238 lb Bryson Nesbit had 24 receptions, 264 receiving yards, and 2 receiving touchdowns in 2024. Bryson Nesbit ran 14/30 routes on the route tree.
The Detroit Lions get a cornerback to compliment Terrion Arnold and D.J. Reed. Jason Marshall Jr. is good enough to develop into a replacement to Amik Robertson at nickel cornerback down the road.
The 6-0 194 lb Jason Marshall Jr. had 13 solo tackles, 7 assisted tackles, 20 total tackles, 4 deflections from pass breakups, 3 quarterback hurries, 1.5 tackles for a loss, and 1 forced fumble in 2024. I gave Jason Marshall Jr. an A+ grade in man coverage, a D+ grade in zone coverage, and a D+ grade in press coverage. Jason Marshall Jr. is going to a team where he will thrive as a man coverage nickel cornerback, but he also needs to improve his zone and press coverage. Maybe learning under someone like Amik Robertson is what Jason Marshall Jr. needs before he becomes a regular starter in the NFL.
New Orleans gets a defensive end for depth behind Carl Granderson and Cameron Jordan. Wake Forest defensive end Jasheen Davis is my top defensive end available.
The 6-3 270 lb Jasheen Davis had 17 solo tackles, 15 assisted tackles, 13 tackles for a loss, 6 sacks, 5 quarterback hurries, 1 forced fumble, and 1 fumble recovery in 2022. Jasheen Davis had 26 solo tackles, 23 asssited tackles, 49 total tackles, 17 tackles for a loss, 10 quarterback hurries, 7.5 sacks, 2 deflectiosn from pass breakups, and 1 forced fumble in 2023. Jasheen Davis had 17 solo tackles, 16 assisted tackles, 33 total tackles, 11.5 tackles for a loss, 6 quarterback hurries, and 5.5 sacks in 2024.
Jasheen Davis can line up at 4-3 right end or 4-3 left end with his versatility. He did manage to sack Cam Ward earlier this year.
Buffalo Bills: Antwaun Powell-Ryland, LE, Virginia Tech
Buffalo has A.J. Epenesa locked up at 4-3 right end and Gregory Rosseau locked up at 4-3 left end. Joey Bosa will split reps at 4-3 right end. A backup 4-3 left end behind Gregory Rosseau is needed and that's where Antwaun Powell-Ryland comes into play.
The 6-2 258 lb Antwaun Powell-Ryland had 29 solo tackles, 14 assisted tackles, 43 total tackles, 19 tackles for a loss, 16 sacks, 9 quarterback hurries, 3 forced fumbles, and 1 kick/punt blocked in 2024. Antwaun Powell-Ryland isn't just a pass rushing sack artist, he can also be used on special teams to block field goals or punts.
Kansas City drafts a defensive end for depth behind Mike Danna, George Karlaftis, and Felix Anudike-Uzomah. Elijah Roberts is the best player on my board at this point in the fourth round.
The 6-4 285 lb Elijah Roberts had 17 solo tackles, 18 assisted tackles, 35 total tackles, 11 tackles for a loss, 11 quarterback hurries, 7.5 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, and 1 deflection from a pass breakup in 2024. Elijah Roberts is versatile enough to play 4-3 right end, 4-3 left end, 3-4 right end, 3-4 left end, 3-4 right outside linebacker, and 3-4 left outside linebacker. Elijah Roberts has a great rip and swim move too.
Philadelphia gets a fourth 3-4 middle linebacker for depth. Nakobe Dean and Zack Baun are back. Jeremiah Trotter Jr. should go from being the fourth 3-4 middle linebacker on this depth chart to the third in year two. Getting a fourth 3-4 middle linebacker is something the Philadelphia Eagles might entertain in the fourth round.
The 6-2 235 lb Francisco Mauigoa had 51 solo tackles, 45 assisted tackles, 96 total tackles, 11 tackles for a loss, 5 deflections from pass breakups, 5 quarterback hurries, 2 sacks, 1 interception, and 1 forced fumble in 2024. Francisco Mauigoa can play 4-3 middle linebacker or 3-4 middle linebacker with his versatility.
Francisco Mauigoa can rush the quarterback, stop the run, or drop back into coverage. He's got potential to be a future starter and I'm a lot higher on him than the consensus.
The Miami Dolphins get this fourth round compensation pick at 135 for losing defensive tackle Christian Wilkins. Christian Wilkins signed with the Las Vegas Raiders during the 2024 NFL Free Agency Period.
The 5-11 237 lb Power Echols had 43 solo tackles, 33 assisted tackles, 76 total tackles, 6 deflections from pass breakups, 3 quarteback hurries, 1.5 tackles for a loss, 1 interception, 1 defensive touchdown on a pick 6, and a 0.5 sack in 2024. Power Echols can rush the quarterback, stop the run, or drop back into coverage. He's probably the only linebacker I've seen on film that plays both man coverage and zone coverage at a high level.
The Baltimore Ravens get this fourth round compensation pick at 136 for losing 3-4 MLB Patrick Queen. Patrick Queen signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers during the 2024 NFL Free Agency Period.
The 6-0 183 lb Graham Nicholson went 8/10 on field goals and 53/53 on extra points in 2024 making a career long 51 yard field goal at Alabama. There are rumors that Baltimore will draft Justin Tucker's replacement if their top ranked kicker falls to them. My top ranked kicker is Alabama kicker Graham Nicholson. Not only do I have a fourth round grade on Graham Nicholson, he was also the best overall available player on my board at this point in the late fourth round.
The Seattle Seahawks get this fourth round compensation pick at 137 for losing left guard Damien Lewis. Damien Lewis signed with the Carolina Panthers during the 2024 NFL Free Agency Period.
The 6-2 242 lb Carson Schwesinger is a player I'm not very high on as I have a backup grade on Schwesinger. Most have him going in rounds 1-3 of their mock drafts, but Seattle would be drafting Carson Schwesinger for depth though.
Carson Schwesinger had 90 solo tackles, 48 assisted tackles, 136 total tackles, 8.5 tackles for a loss, 4 sacks, 3 deflections from pass breakups, 3 quarterback hurries, 2 interceptions, and 1 forced fumble in 2024. I'm not even sure Carson is the best linebacker on his own team as I like Oluafemi Oladeji better even though I view both UCLA 3-4 middle linebackers as backups at the next level.
The San Francisco 49ers get this fourth round compensation pick at 138 for losing defensive end Chase Young. Chase Young signed with the New Orleans Saints in the 2024 NFL Free Agency Period. San Francisco traded a draft pick to Washington to get Chase Young at the 2023 NFL Trade Deadline.
San Francisco drafts a cornerback to play next to Renardo Green on the outside. Utah cornerback Zemaiah Vaughn is the best player on my board at this point in the fourth round.
The 6-3 187 lb Zemaiah Vaughn had 35 solo tackles, 5 assisted tackles, 40 total tackles, 5 deflections from pass breakups, 5 tackles for a loss, 2 sacks, 1 forced fumble, 1 interception, and 1 defensive touchdown on the interception which resulted in a pick 6 in 2024. I gave Zemaiah Vaughn an A+ in man coverage, a B- in zone coverage, and an A in press coverage. Zemaiah Vaughn can play in a cover 0, cover 1, or cover 2 defense.
