2025 NFL Mock Draft: Final Mock 7 Rounds

Round 1 Picks 17-32

Chris Ransom follow @DraftUtopia Last Updated: April 24, 2025.

  1. Cincinnati Bengals: Xavier Watts, SS, Notre Dame

Cincinnati gets a strong safety that is an upgrade over Jordan Battle. Xavier Watts would do wonders for the Cincinnati Bengals secondary.

The 5-11 204 lb Xavier Watts is versatile enough to play strong safety or free safety as I consider him more versatile than Malaki Starks. Xavier Watts had 30 solo tackles, 22 assisted tackles, 52 total tackles, 11 deflections from pass breakups, 7 interceptions, 3 tackles for a loss, and a 0.5 sack in 2023. Xavier Watts had 52 solo tackles, 30 assisted tackles, 82 total tackles, 10 deflections from pass breakups, 6 interceptions, 4 quarrterback hurries, 3.5 tackles for a loss, 1 forced fumble, and 1 defensive touchdown on a pick 6 in 2024. Xavier Watts wowed me on tape to the point where I locked him into the first round moving him ahead of Malaki Starks, who began the year as the top safety in the 2025 NFL Draft.

I gave Notre Dame safety Xavier Watts an A+ grade in man coverage, an A+ grade in zone coverage, an A grade in press coverage, and a A- in run stuffing. Xavier Watts would be a day 1 starter at strong safety in Cincinnati.

Cincinnati has Joe Burrow locked up at quarterback. Cincinnati's offensive line of Orlando Brown Jr. at left tackle, Cordell Volson at left guard, Ted Karras at center, Cody Ford right guard, and Amarius Mims Cincinnati's 2024 first round pick at right tackle will be back next year. Mike Gesicki is also locked up at tight end. Joe Burrow and his weapons are locked up in Cincinnati. Chase Brown could break out at running back in 2026. The addition of Tyler Booker should cause their fourth down conversion rate to improve from 42 percent to possibly double with an 84 percent fourth down conversion rate. That's the type of impact Tyler Booker can make on the Cincinnati Bengals offensive line.

Trey Hendrickson will be back at 4-3 right end and with Joseph Ossai at 4-3 left end and 2023 first round pick Myles Murphy as a situational pass rusher as the backup defensive end. B.J. Hill will be complimenting those two defensive ends at 4-3 defensive tackle with Kris Jenkins Jr. a 2024 second round pick taking over for Sheldon Rankins. T.J. Slayton a former Green Bay Packer is a backup 4-3 defensive tackle with McKinley Jackson a 2024 fourth round pick as the other backup defensive tackle. Germaine Pratt will be back at 4-3 right outside linebacker with Logan Wilson complimenting him at 4-3 middle linebacker. Cam Taylor-Britt will play field cornerback and D.J. Turner II will play boundary cornerback with Daxton Hill at nickel cornerback. Josh Newton had a promising rookie year at cornerback. Cincinnati has Xavier Watts at strong safety and Geno Stone at free safety with Jordan Battle as a backup safety for depth. Cincinnati has a good defensive roster for 2026. I also believe Evan McPherson is locked up at kicker.

Previous Pick: Tory Horton, WR, Colorado State

    Other Cincinnati Bengals Selections

  2. Seattle Seahawks: Tyler Booker, LG, Alabama

Seattle gets an offensive linemen at 18. The two best players on my board are Walter Nolen and Tyler Booker, but the Alabama left guard fills a bigger need for the Seattle Seahawks as he is versatile enough to play both left guard and right guard on the offensive line.

The 6-5 321 lb Tyler Booker has the pass blocking, pass blocking strength, pass blocking footwork, run blocking, run blocking strength, run blocking footwork, zone blocking, pancake blocking, pull blocking, and cut blocking you want from a guard. He's got the versatility to play both left guard and right guard.

Seattle would have Charles Cross at left tackle, Tyler Booker at left guard, Olu Olawatimi at center, Anthony Bradford Jr. at right guard, and Abraham Lucas at right tackle. That offensive line would do wonders for quarterback Sam Darnold and running back Kenneth Walker III. Cooper Kupp is the flanker wide receiver with Jaxon Smith-Njigba as the secondary wide receiver. Noah Fant is the starting tight end.

Previous Pick: Mykel Williams, 3-4 ROLB, Georgia

    Other Seattle Seahawks Selections

  3. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Nick Emmanwori, SS, South Carolina

Tampa Bay gets a safety to pair with Antoine Winfield Jr. South Carolina safety Nick Emmanwori can line up at both strong safety and free safety with his versatility.

Tampa Bay would have Baker Mayfield at quarterback. The offensive line for Tampa Bay would feature the same five starters as last year with Tristan Wirfs at left tackle, Ben Bredeson at left guard, Graham Barton at center, Cody Mauch at right guard, and Luke Goedeke at right tackle. Mike Evans is the flanker wide receiver, Chris Godwin is the secondary wide receiver, Jalen McMillan is the slot receiver, Sterling Shepard is the number four wide receiver, and Trey Palmer is the number five wide receiver. Cade Otton is the starting tight end. Payne Durham is the number two tight end. Ko Kieft is the third string tight end. Devin Culp is the fourth strign tight end. Tampa Bay has Bucky Irving as their starting running back. Rachaad White is the backup running back. Sean Tucker is the third string running back as Tampa Bay is extremely deep offensively.

Tampa Bay has Calijah Kancey switching from 3-4 left end to 3-4 right end. Vita Vea remains the 3-4 nose tackle. Logan Hall moves from 3-4 right end to 3-4 left end. Yaya Diaby remains the starting 3-4 right outside linebacker. Lavonte David and SirVocea Dennis will be the starting 3-4 middle linebackers. Haason Reddick is the 3-4 left outside linebacker. Zyon McCollum is the field cornerback. Jamel Dean is the boundary cornerback, Tykee Smith is the nickel cornerback. Nick Emmanwori would play strong safety as a day 1 starter if Tampa Bay drafted him at 19. Antoine Winfield Jr. would play free safety. That gives Tampa Bay a good defense in the short-term.

The 6-3 220 lb Nick Emmanwori had 57 solo tackles, 31 assisted tackles, 88 total tackles, 2 deflections from pass breakups, 4 interceptions, 3 tackles for a loss, and 2 defensive touchdowns on a pick 6 in 2024. Nick Emmanwori ran a 4.38 40-yard dash at the 2025 NFL Combine.

I gave South Carolina safety Nick Emmanwori an A+ grade in man coverage, an A+ grade in zone coverage, an B grade in press coverage, a B- in run stuffing, and a C in tackling. He's more versatile than Malaki Starks, but he's not as dominant on film as Xavier Watts in the little areas that matter like press coverage, run stuffing, hard hitting, and tackling. He's still good enough to get drafted in the first round though.

Previous Pick: Xavier Watts, SS, Notre Dame

    Other Tampa Bay Buccaneers Selections

  4. Denver Broncos: Walter Nolen, 3-4 RE, Ole Miss

Denver has Bo Nix at quarterback, Garrett Bolles at left tackle, Ben Powers at left guard, Luke Wattenberg at center, Quinn Meinerz at right guard, and Mike McGlnchey at right tackle. Denver has Courtland Sutton at flanker wide receiver, Marvin Mims Jr. as their secondary wide receiver, and Devaugn Vele as the slot receiver. Denver has Evan Engram as their starting tight end and Adam Trautman as their number two tight end. Jaleel McLaughlin is the starting running back with Audric Estime as their number two running back.

Denver has John Franklin-Myers at 3-4 right end, DJ Jones at 3-4 nose tackle, and Zach Allen at 3-4 left end on the defensive line. Denver has Jonathon Cooper at 3-4 right outside linebacker, Alex Singleton at 3-4 middle linebacker, Dre Greenlaw at 3-4 middle linebcker, and Jonathon Cooper at 3-4 left outside linebacker. Denver has Patrick Surtain II at field cornerback, Riley Moss at boundary cornerback, Talona Hufanga at strong safety, and Brandon Jones at free safety. Denver has one of the best defenses in the league, but with both John Franklin-Myers and Zach Allen entering contract years, Denver reloads at 5-technique drafting another 3-4 defensive end.

The 6-3 293 lb Walter Nolen had 20 solo tackles, 17 assisted tackles, 37 total tackles, 8.5 tackles for a loss, 4 sacks, and 1 deflection from a pass breakup in 2023. Walter Nolen had 25 solo tackles, 23assisted tackles, 48 total tackles, 14 tackles fora loss, 5.5 sacks, 4 quarterback hurries, and 3 deflections from pass breakups in 2024. Walter Nolen has the pass rushing and run stuffing you want from a defensive tackle that specializes in block shedding.

Denver can develop Walter Nolen for a year. He will start at 3-4 right end or 3-4 left end in 2026. I believe he could be a replacement to John Franklin-Meyers.

Previous Pick: Malaki Starks, FS, Georgia

    Other Denver Broncos Selections

  5. Pittsburgh Steelers: Matthew Golden, WR, Texas

Pittsburgh could draft a quarterback here, but I'm gonna mock a wide receiver here and give the Steelers their quarterback of the future in the third round because if that quarterback fails to beat out Mason Rudolph for playing time as a rookie, you can always draft another quarterback when Pittsburgh hosts the 2026 NFL Draft.

The best player on my board is Texas wide receiver Matthew Golden. Pittsburgh will have Mason Rudolph at quarterback short-term and another guy in the third round or the 2026 NFL Draft at quarteback for the long-term. Pittsburgh has Broderick Jones at left tackle, Isaac Seumalo at left guard, Zach Frazier at center, Mason McMormick at right guard, and Troy Fautanu at right tackle. Pittsburgh would also have D.K. Metcalf as a flanker wide receiver, George Pickens as a secondary wide receiver, and Matthew Golden as a slot receiver as a rookie bfore he takes over as the number two wide receiver next to to D.K.Metcalf in 2026. Calvin Austin III would be the number four wide receiver, Roman Wilson last years third round pick out of Michigan would be the number five wide receiver. This would leave Scotty Miller an Ben Skowronek to compete for the final wide receiver spot on this roster. Pittsburgh would also have Pat Freiermuth as their number one tight end, Darnell Washington as their number two tight end, and Connor Heyward as their number three tight end. Jaylen Warren is the starting running back while former Philadelphia Eagles backup Kenneth Gainwell becomes the new change of pace back with Cordarrelle Patterson as the third string back. Mason Rudolph will have plenty to work with as a stop gap, and you can roll the dice on a quarterback if one you like falls to you in the third round.

Pittsburgh has Cameron Heyward at 3-4 right end, Keeanu Benton at 3-4 nose tackle, Alex Highsmith at 3-4 right outside linebacker, Patrick Queen at 3-4 middle linebacker, Payton Wilson at 3-4 middle linebacker, T.J. Watt at 3-4 left outside linebacker, Joey Porter Jr. at field cornerback, Darius Slay at boundary cornerback, Beanie Bishop Jr. at nickel cornerback, Brandin Echols at dime cornerback, and Cory Trice Jr. at quarter cornerback. Pittsburgh also has DeShon Elliott at strong safety and Minkah Fitzpatrick at free safety. Miles Killebrew is the backup strong safety and Juan Thornhill is the backup free safety. Even if Pittsburgh uses a nickel defense, they would probably go with a 2-4-5 nickel defense only using Isaiahh Loudermilk or Dean Lowry as a 3-4 left end on first and second downs with their defensive personnel.

The 5-11 191 lb Matthew Golden can run 28/30 routes on the route tree. Matthew Golden had 58 receptions, 987 receiving yards, and 9 receiving touchdowns in 2024.

Previous Pick: Emeka Egbuka, WR, Ohio State

    Other Pittsburgh Steelers Selections

  6. Los Angeles Chargers: Tyler Warren, TE, Penn State

The Los Angeles Chargers get a day 1 starter at tight end. The 2024 John Mackey Award winner Tyler Warren drops to the Los Angeles Chargers at 22.

The Los Angeles Chargers have stability at quarterback with Justin Herbert, they have stability at both offensive tackle and guard spots with Rashawn Slater at left tackle, Zion Johnson at left guard, Bradley Bozeman at center, Mekhi Becton at right guard, and Joe Alt at right tackle. Justin Herbert has Ladd McConkey as his flanker wide receiver, Quentin Johnston as his secondary wide receiver, and Mike Williams as a slot receiver. Derius Davis is the nmber four wide receiver and Brenden Rice is expected to be the number five wide receiver after sitting out as a rookie. Tyler Warren would be the starting tight end with Tyler Conklin a Free Agent addition being the number two tight end. Will Dissly last years number two tight end would be the third string tight end. Najee Harris is the starting running back. Hassan Haskins is the backup running back. Kimani Vidal is the third string running back. Scott Matlock is the starting fullback.

The 6-5 256 lb Tyler Warren had 104 receptions, 1,233 receiving yards, and 8 receiving touchdowns. Tyler Warren also showed the ability to run all 30 routes on the route tree making him a consensus first round pick. He also has the ability to block at a high level. Tyler Warren has the best floor of any tight end in the 2025 NFL Draft making him a day 1 starter, but I honestly believe Michigan tight end Colston Loveland has the highest ceiling. The Los Angeles Chargers end up landing Tyler Warren in the first round.

Previous Pick: Quincy Riley, CB, Louisville

    Other Los Angeles Chargers Selections

  7. Green Bay Packers: Jahdae Barron, CB, Texas

Green Bay drafts a nickel cornerback here. This gives Green Bay a cornerback trio of Jaire Alexander, Nate Hobbs, and Jahdae Barron. Green Bay could move on from KeiSean Nixon or keep him as a backup cornerback.

The 5-11 194 lb Jahdae Barron had 46 solo tackles, 21 assisted tackles, 67 total tackles, 11 deflections from pass breakups, 5 interceptions, 2.5 tackles for a loss, 2 quarterback hurries, and 1 sack in 2024. Jahdae Barron also ran a 4.40 40-yard dash at the 2025 NFL Combine.

I gave Jahdae Barron a B- in man coverage, an A+ in zone coverage, and an A grade in press coverage. Barron can play in a cover 3 or cover 4 scheme. Going to Green Bay as a nickel cornerback will mask some of Jahdae Barron's weaknesses in man coverage.

Previous Pick: Shavon Revel Jr., CB, East Carolina

    Other Green Bay Packers Selections

  8. Minnesota Vikings: Deone Walker, NT, Kentucky

The Minnesota Vikings have J.J. McCarthy as their starting quarterback. Christian Darrisaw is back from a season ending injury at left tackle, Blake Brandel is the left guard, Ryan Kelly is the starting center, Will Fries takes over at right guard, Brian O'Neill is the starting right tackle. Justin Jefferson is the flanker wide receiver while Jordan Addison is the secondary wide receiver. Jalen Nailor plays slot receiver. Rondale Moore comes into Minnesota as a number four wide receiver hoping to rebound after struggling in Arizona and getting injured in Atlanta last year. T.J. Hockenson is the starting tight end and Josh Oliver is the backup tight end. Aaron Jones Sr. is the starting running back with Jordan Mason as his backup with Ty Chandler as the third string running back in the final year of his rookie deal. C.J. Ham is the starting fullback. Minnesota has a pretty complete offense.

The Minnesota Vikings have Javon Hargrave at 3-4 right end, Harrison Phillips at 3-4 nose tackle, Javon Hargrave at 3-4 left end, Jonathan Greenard at 3-4 right outside linebacker, Ivan Pace Jr. at 3-4 middle linebacker, Blake Cashman at 3-4 middle linebacker, Andrew Van Ginkel as the 3-4 left outside linebacker, Dallas Turner as a situational pass rusher, and Brian Asamoah II as an extra 3-4 middle linebacker for depth. Byron Murphy II is the field cornerback. Mekhi Becton returns from his season ending injury to compliment him at boundary cornerback. Joshua Metellus is the starting strong safety and Harrison Smith is the starting free safety. Isaiah Rodgers and Jeffrey Okudah would compete for the nickel cor

The Minnesota Vikings draft a nose tackle for their defensive line to compliment Harrison Phillips and eventually replace Phillips. Deone Walker entered the preseason as my top ranked defensive tackle in the 2025 NFL Draft. Now, he falls to the Minnesota Vikings in the late first round.

Minnesota needs a 3-4 nose tackle. Deone Walker would be an upgrade over Tart since Walker can rush the passer, stop the run, and swat passes by knocking them on the ground as it was Walker who ended Carson Beck's completion streak at 11 when Georgia traveled to Lexington to take on Kentucky.

The 6-7 340 lb Deone Walker is a defensive force in the middle. Deone Walker had 28 solo tackles, 27 assisted tackles, 12.5 sacks, 7.5 sacks, 8 quarterback hurries, and 2 deflections from pass breakups in 2023. Deone Walker had 13 solo tackles, 24 assisted tackles, 37 total tackles, 5 tackles for a loss, 2 deflections from pass breakups, and 1.5 sacks in 2024. Deone Walker constantly got quarterback hurries on film even with a high pad level while constantly being triple teamed on Kentucky in 2024. He's probably the most complete nose tackle in the NFL Draft since Washington nose tackle Vita Vea in the 2018 NFL Draft. I have Deone Walker ranked tenth on my big board at the beginning of the year, but since then he's moved down to 21 on my final big board.

Previous Pick: Will Johnson, CB, Michigan

    Other Minnesota Vikings Selections

  9. Houston Texans: Kenneth Grant, DT, Michigan

Houston has quality starters at most spots. Upgrading at 4-3 defesive tackle over Tim Settle feels like the lone need with Houston being able to develop their day 2 picks as well as their day 3 picks for the 2026 NFL Season and beyond. Michigan defensive tackle Kenneth Grant would make a lot of sense here.

The 6-3 331 lb Kenneth Grant had 16 solo tackles, 13 assisted tackles, 29 total tackles, 6 quarterback hurries, 5 tackles for a loss, 5 deflections from pass breakups, 3.5 sacks, and 1 interception in 2023. Kenneth Grant had 18 solo tackles, 14 assisted tackles, 32 total tackles, 6.5 tackles for a loss, 5 defelctions from pass breakups, 3 sacks, and 3 quarterback hurries in 2024. Kenneth Grant has the pass rushing, run stuffing, and block shedding you want from a 4-3 defensive tackle. He's versatile enough to play 4-3 defensive tackle or 3-4 nose tackle.

Houston has C.J. Stroud at quarterback. Houston has Cam Robinson at left tackle, Tytus Howard at left guard, Jarrett Patterson at center, Juice Scruggs at right guard, and Blake Fisher at right tackle. Laken Tomlinson is the backup left guard while Ed Ingram is the backup right tackle. Houston has Nico Collins as their flanker wide receiver, Christian Kirk as their secondary wide receiver for 2025 until Tank Dell returns from an injury, Justin Watson, Braxton Berrios, and John Metchie III competing for the slot receiver job until Tank Dell returns from his injury late in the 2025 NFL Regular Season. Houston has Dalton Schultz as the starting tight end, Brevin Jordan as the backup tight end, and Cade Stover as the third string tight end. Joe Mixon is the starting running back and Dameon Pierce is the backup running back. Dare Ogunbowale is the third string running back.

Houston has Danielle Hunter at 4-3 right end, Kenneth Grant at 4-3 defensive tackle, Sheldon Rankins at 4-3 defnesive tackle, Willl Anderson Jr. as their starting 4-3 left end, Derek Barnett as a situational pass rusher, Tim Settle as the number three 4-3 defensive tackle for depth, and Mario Edwards Jr. as the number four 4-3 defnesive tackle. Houston also has Henry To'oTo'o at 4-3 right outside linebacker, Azeez Al-Shaair at 4-3 middle linebacker, E.J. Speed as their 4-3 left outside linebacker as well as the backup outside linebacker in a 4-2-5 nickel defense with Christian Harris as the backup middle linebacker in a 4-2-5 nickel deense. Houston has Derek Stingley Jr. at field cornerback, Kamari Lassiter at boundary cornerback, Jalen Pitre at nickel cornerback, Ronald Darby at dime cornerback, C.J. Gardner-Johnson at strong safety, Calen Bullock at free safety, Jimmie Ward as the backup strong safety, and M.J. Stewart as the backup free safety.

Previous Pick: Denzel Burke, CB, Ohio State

    Other Houston Texans Selections

  10. Los Angeles Rams: Malaki Starks, FS, Georgia

The Los Angeles Rams get an upgrade at safety. Georgia free safety Malaki Starks would be quite the addition to this defense.

The Los Angeles Rams have Matthew Stafford at quarterback, Alaric Jackson at left tackle, Steve Avila at left guard, Beaux Limmer at center, Kevin Dotson at right guard, and Rob Havenstein at right tackle. Los Angeles has two guys capable of being flanker wide receivers even with Cooper Kupp gone with Davante Adams replacing Cooper Kupp as well as Puka Nacua on a rookie deal. Tutu Atwell is the slot receiver. Tyler Higbee is the starting tight end while Colby Parkinsonis the backup tight end. Kyren Williams is the starting running back and Blake Corum is the backup running back.

The Los Angeles Rams have Braden Fiske at 3-4 right end, Poona Ford at 3-4 nose tackle, Kobie Turner at 3-4 left end, Desjuan Johnson as the backup 3-4 right end, Tyler Davis as the backup 3-4 nose tackle, and Larrell Murchison as the backup 3-4 left end. Los Angeles has Jared Verse at 3-4 right outside linebacker, Byron Young at 3-4 left outside linebacker, Omar Speights at 3-4 middle linebacker, Nate Landman as the other 3-4 middle linebacker, Nick Hampton as a situational pass rusher, and Tony Fields II as a second 3-4 middle linebacker for depth. Los Angeles has Darious Williams at field cornerback, Ahkello Witherspoon at boundary cornerback, Quentin Lake at nickel cornerback, Decobie Durant at dime cornerback, and Derion Kendrick at quarter cornerback. Kam Curl is the strong safety and Kamren Kinchens is the free safety. Drafting Malaki Starks at 26 would make him a day 1 starter at free safety.

The 6-1 197 lb Malaki Starks had 44 solo tackles, 24 assisted tackles, 68 total tackles, 1.5 tackles for a loss, 9 deflections from pass breakups, and 2 interceptions starting on Georgia's College Football Team that repeated as National Champions on an undefeated Georgia team as a true freshman in 2022. Malaki Starks had 31 solo tackles, 21 assisted tackles, 52 total tackles, 10 deflections from pass breakups, and 3 interceptions as a true sophomore in 2023. Malaki Starks had 52 solo tackles, 25 assisted tackles, 4 tackles for a loss, 3 deflections from pass breakups, and 1 interception in 2024.

I gave Malaki Starks an A- grade in man coverage, an A- in zone coverage, an A- in press coverage, and an A- in run stuffing. Malaki Starks gives the Los Angeles Rams a day 1 starter at free safety.

Malaki Starks can play in a cover 0, cover 1, cover 2, cover 3, or a cover 4 defense. Malaki Starks entered the year as a blue chip prospect, but a bad 40-yard dash time with a 4.50 flat causes Starks to fall to the Los Angeles Rams at 26.

Previous Pick: Sebastian Castro, FS, Iowa

    Other Los Angeles Rams Selections

  11. Baltimore Ravens: Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan

The Baltimore Ravens have Lamar Jackson at quarterback, Ronnie Stanley at left tackle, Andrew Vorhees at left guard, Tyler Linderbaum at center, Daniel Faalele at right guard, Roger Rosengarten at right tackle, Zay Flowers as a flanker wide receiver, Rashod Bateman as a secondary wide receiver, andn DeAndre Hopkins a slot receiver. Baltimore also has Mark Andrews, Isaiah Likely, and Charlie Kolar back at tight end. Derrick Henry, Justice Hill, Keaton Mitchell, and Rasheen Ali are back at running back.

Baltimore has Justin Madubuike at 3-4 right end, Travis Jones at 3-4 nose tackle, Broderick Washington at 3-4 lef tend, Odafe Oweh at 3-4 right outside linebacker, Roquan Smitha t 3-4 middle linebacker, Trenton Simpson at 3-4 middle linebacker, and Kyle Van Noy at 3-4 left outside linebacker. Baltimore has ate Wiggins at field cornerback, Marlon Humprhey at boundary cornerback, and Chidobe Awuzie at nickel cornerback replacing Brandon Stephens. Ar'Darius Washington last years starting strong safety returns at strong safety and Kyle Hamilton compliments him at free safety. T.J. Tampa and Jalyn Armour-Davis will compete for the dime and quarter cornerback jobs while Tavius Robinson continues to develop as a situational pass rusher.

All three of Baltimore's tight ends are UFA's in 2026 with Mark Andrews, Isaiah Likely, and Charlie Kolar having expiring contracts. My best player on the board at 27 is Michigan tight end Colson Loveland, so reloading and drafting another tight end makes a lot of sense for the Baltimore Ravens.

The 6-6 248 lb Colston Loveland had 45 receptions, 649 receiving yards, and 4 receiving touchdowns in 2023. Colston Loveland had 56 receptions, 582 receiving yards, and 5 receiving touchdowns in 2024. Colston Loveland also showed the ability to run all 30 routes on the route tree making him a consensus first round pick.

Previous Pick: Ollie Gordon IV, RB, Oklahoma State

    Other Baltimore Ravens Selections

  12. Detroit Lions: Tate Ratlidge, RG, Georgia

Detroit gets an offensive line upgrade in the first round. Tate Ratlidge is the best player on my board at 28.

The 6-6 311 lb Tate Ratlidge has the has the pass blocking, pass blocking strength, pass blocking footwork, run blocking, run blocking strength, run blocking footwork, zone blocking, pancake blocking, pull blocking, and cut blocking you want. The last three right guards that checked every box like this coming out of college were David DeCastro, Zack Martin, and Chris Lindstrom. Tate Ratlidge entered the preseason with a chance to be the highest drafted right guard since Lindstrom whose thrived in Atlanta after the Atlanta Falcons drafted the Boston College right guard in the 2019 NFL Draft. Missing games with injuries causes Tate Ratlidge to drop to the back end of the first round.

The Detroit Lions have Jared Goff at quarterback, Taylor Decker at left tackle, Graham Glasgow at left guard, Frank Ragnow at center, Tate Ratlidge at right guard, and Penei Sewell at right tackle. Dan Skipper is the swing tackle and Christian Mahogany is the swing guard with Mahogany getting one more year of development before taking over for Graham Glasgow at left guard in 2026. Detorit has Amon-Ra St. Brown at flanekr wide receiver, Jameson Williams as their secondary wide receiver, Tim Patrick as their slot receiver, Kalif Raymmond is their nubmer four wide receiver, Sam LaPorta is the startign tight end, Brock Wright is the secondary tight end. Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery will continue to split carries in the backfield.

The Detroit Lions have Aidan Hutchinson at 4-3 right end, Alim McNeil at 4-3 defensive tackle, D.J. Reader at 4-3 defensive tackle, Marcus Davenport at 4-3 left end, Josh Pascal as a situational pass rusher and third defensive end, Levi Onwuzurike at 4-3 defensive takle, Roy Lopez as the other backup 4-3 defensive tackle, Alex Anzalone at 4-3 right outside linebacker, Jack Campbell at 4-3 middle linebacker, Malcolm Rodriguez 4-3 left outside linebacker as well as the backup right outside, Derrick Barnes as the backup middle linebacker, Terrion Arnold is the field cornerback, D.J. Reed is the boundary cornerback, Amik Robertson is the nickel cornerback, Ennis Rakestraw Jr. is the dime cornerback, and Avonte Maddox is the quarter cornerback. Brian Branch plays strong safety and Kerby Joseph plays free safety. Detroit has a pretty complete defense in addition to their offense despite losing some coaches to head coaching gigs.

    Other Detroit Lions Selections

  13. Washington Commanders: Shemar Stewart, RE, Texas A&M

Washington has Jayden Daniels at quarterback, Laremy Tunsil at left tackle, Nick Allegretti at left guard, Tyler Biadasz at center, Sam Cosmi at right guard, and Andrew Wylie at right tackle. Brandon Coleman last years left tackle could end up either being a swing tackle or moving inside to guard. Terry McLaurin si the flanker wide receiver, Deebo Samuel is the secondary wide receiver, and Luke McCaffrey is the slot receiver Zach Ertz is the starting tight end with John Bates bac and Ben Sinnott as the third string tight end. Brian Robinson Jr. is the starting running back while Austin Ekeler is the change of pace running back.

Washington would have Shemar Stewart at 4-3 right end rotating snaps with Clellin Ferrell at 4-3 right end. Daron Payne and Javon Kinlaw would be rotating snaps at 4-3 defensie tackle. Jer'Zhan Newton and Eddie Goldman would be rotating snaps at the other 4-3 defensive tackle spot with Dorance Armstrong Jr. and Deatrich Wise Jr. rotating snaps at 4-3 left end. Frankie Luvu is the right outside linebacker with Bobby Wagner at middle linebacker. Marshon Lattimore is the field cornerback, but Mike Sainristl sounds like he played well enough as a rookie to get promoted from nickel to boundary cornerback meaning Sainristl will go from covering slot receivers to number two wide receivers in his second NFL season. Washington's defense would be better, but I'm not sure these additions position Washington to be a Super Bowl contender this upcoming season.

Washington has a stacked offense. They need to get a sack artist on defense. Texas A&M 4-3 right end Shemar Stewart is the guy for Washington to draft here at 29.

The 6-5 281 lb Shemar Stewart commanded more double teams at defensive end for Texas A&M than his teammate Nic Scourton. Scourton is more versatile and can play in either the 4-3 or 3-4 scheme while Stewart is limited toa 4-3 scheme. Stewart has the rip and swim moves as he can win one on ones with his speed after running a 4.59 40-yard dash at the 2025 NFL Combine. The drawback is he does have a tendency to miss tackles.

Shemar Stewart had 14 solo tackles, 17 assisted tackles, 31 total tackles, 7 quarterback hurries, 5.5 tackles for a loss, 2 deflections from pass breakups, 1.5 sacks, and 1 forced fumble in 2024. Shemar Stewart does have the floor to be a day 1 starter, but I'm not sure he has the ceiling to develop into a Pro Bowl player despite being the pass rusher on Texas A&M that commanded a bulk of the double teams.

Previous Pick: Kelvin Banks Jr., LT, Texas

  14. Buffalo Bills: Derrick Harmon, DT, Oregon

The Buffalo Bills have Josh Allen at quarterback. All five starters on last years offensive line are back with Dion Dawkins at left tackle, David Edwars at left guard, Connor McGovern at center, O'Cyruse Torrence at right guard, and Spencer Brown at right tackle. Buffalo has Khalil Shakir as their flanker wide receiver, Josh Palmer as their secondary wide receiver, and Keon Coleman as their slot receiver with Curtis Samuel as a number four wide receiver. Buffalo also has two capable starters at tight end with Dawson Knox and Dalton Kincaid. James Cook eters a contract year at running back with Ray Davis as the number two running back, Ty Johnson as the third string running back, and Reggie Gilliam at fullback. Buffalo is stacked offensively as long as their starters remain healthy.

Buffalo has Joey Bosa at 4-3 right end with A.J. Epenesa splitting snaps with him. Buffalo has Ed Oliver at 4-3 defensive tackle with DaQuan Jones next to him. Gregory Rosseau is the starting 4-3 left end with Michael Hoecht as the backup 4-3 left end. DeWayne Carter and Larry Ogunjobi are the backups at 4-3 defensive tackle. Matt Milano is the 4-3 right outside linebacker, Terrel Bernard is the 4-3 middle linebacker, Dorian Williams is the backup right outside linebacker as well as the 4-3 left outside linebacker while Baylon Spector is the backup 4-3 middle linebacker. Christian Benford is the field cornerback, Tre'Davious White is the boundary cornerback, Taron Johnson is the nickel cornerback, Dane Jackson is the dime cornerback, Taylor Rapp plays strong safety and Damar Hamlin plays free safety.

Buffalo has a pretty complete roster for the most part. Oregon defensive tackle Derrick Harmon would be an upgrade over DaQuan Jones at that 4-3 defensive tackle spot next to Ed Oliver.

The 6-5 310 lb Derrick Harmon had 27 solo tackles, 18 assisted tackles, 45 total tackles, 10.5 tackles for a loss, 10 quarterback hurries, 5 sacks, 4 deflections from pass breakups, 2 forced fumbles, and 1 fumble recovery in 2024. Derrick Harmon has the speed to win one-on-ones against interior offensive linemen, but you'd like to see him develop his rip and swim moves more. Derrick Harmon was also the only defensive tackle in College Football to win a double team against Josh Simmons and Donovan Jackson in Oregon's regular season game versus Ohio State.

Previous Pick: Jahdae Barron, CB, Texas

  15. Kansas City Chiefs: Josh Connerly Jr., LT, Oregon

Kansas City gets Patrick Mahomes a blindside after the embrassing Super Bowl 59 loss to Philadelphia. Josh Connerly Jr. makes a lot of sense here.

The 6-4 313 lb Josh Connerly Jr. has the pass blocking, pass blocking strength, pass blocking footwork, run blocking, run blocking strength, run blocking footwork, zone blocking, pancake blocking, pull blocking, and cut blocking you want from a blindside. He was maintaining blocks against Abdul Carter for 5-7 seconds on passing plays in the 2024 Big 10 Championship.

The Kansas City Chiefs offense would have Patrick Mahomes at quarterback. Josh Connerly Jr. would be the new blindside at left tackle, Jaylon Moore would start at left guard, Creed Humphrey would remain at center, Trey Smith would be the starting right guard, and Jawaan Taylor would be the starting right tackle. Xavier Worhty would be the flanker wide receiver, Rashee Rice who got injured in the regular season this past season would be back at full health as the secondary wide receiver as long as he doesn't have to go to trial. Marques Brown will be the slot receiver. Kansas City has Travis Kelce as the main tight end, Noah Gray as the secondary tight end, and Jared Wiley as their third string tight end. Isiah Pacheco is the main running back, Kareem Hunt is the backup running back, Elijah Mitchell is the third string running back, and Carson Steele is the fourth string running back. Kansas City's offense would be stacked if the Kansas City Chiefs drafted Josh Connerly Jr. to be the blindside for Patrick Mahomes at left tackle.

Previous Pick: Tyleik Williams, DT, Ohio State

  16. Philadelphia Eagles: Nic Scourton, 3-4 LOLB, Texas A&M

The Philadelphia Eagles will remain a force on offense with Jalen Hurts at quarterback, Jordan Mailata at left tackle, Landon Dickerson at left guard, Cam Jurgens at center, Tyler Steen at right guard, Lane Johnson at right tackle on this offensive line. A.J. Brown is the flanker wide receiver, DeVonta Smith is the secondary wide receiver, and Jahan Dotson is the slot receiver. Ainias Smith and Johnny Wilson enter year two as backup wide receivers for depth. Saquon Barkley is back at running back.

Philadelphia would have Jalen Carter at 3-4 right end, Jordan Davis at 3-4 nose tackle, Moro Ojomo at 3-4 left end, Nolan Smith at 3-4 right outside linebacker, Nakobe Dean at 3-4 middle linebacker, Zack Baun at 3-4 middle linebacker, Philadelphia will have to start Jalyx Hunt at 3-4 left outside linebacker unless they draft a pass rusher to play on the edge next to Nolan Smith Jr. at 32. Quinyon Mitchell will be the field cornerback and Coper DeJean will be the boundary cornerback. Kelee Ringo will move into a nickle cornerback role. Syndey Brown will start at strong safety while Reed Blankenship starts at free safety.

Philadelphia gets their pass rusher here. Texas A&M pass rusher Nic Scourton can play 4-3 right end, 4-3 left end, 3-4 right outside linebacker, or 3-4 left otuside linebacker with his versatility.

Philadelphia gets a pass rusher here to pair with Josh Sweat. North Carolina pass rusher Kaimon Rucker can play 4-3 right end, 4-3 left end, 3-4 right outside linebacker, and 3-4 left outside linebacker. Philadelphia is moving from a 4-3 to a 3-4 defense this season, but will still use nickel concepts on third downs.

The 6-3 257 lb Nic Scourton had 33 solo tackles, 17 assisted tackles, 50 total tackles, 15 tackles for a loss, 10 sacks, 3 quarterback hurries, and 3 deflections from pass breakups at Purdue in 2023. Nic Scourton had 27 solo tackles, 10 assisted tackles, 37 total tackles, 14 tackles for a loss, 5 sacks, 4 quarterback hurries, 2 deflections from pass breakups, and 1 forced fumble at Texas A&M in 2024.

Nic Scourton is an elite pass rusher and run stuffer. Nic Scourton compliments Nolan Smith quite well in Philadelphia.

I posted a Nic Scourton film cut. Nic Scourton showed he could play in a 4-3 or 3-4 scheme.
