2016 Eastern Conference Finals Game 7 Recap

Pittsburgh won game 7 of the 2016 Eastern Conference Finals 2-1 thanks to Bryan Burst scoring both goals for the Penguins. Rust has been one of the hottest players for the Pittsburgh Penguins as four of his five goals came in the 2016 Eastern Conference inals. You can make a case for Kris Letang or Bryan Rust being worthy of Conn Smyte Award if the Penguins win it all.


Jonathan Drouin tied it at 1 before Rust scored again. Bryan Rust, Kris Letang, and goaltender Matt Murray were the key players that stepped up for the Pittsburgh Penguins in tehir critical game 7 win.


San Jose will travel to Pittsburgh on Monday. Game 1 of the 2016 Stanley Cup Finals will take place Monday Night on NBC not NBCSN. Game 1 was supposed to start on Wednesday, but the league wisely realized a lay off that long would hurt the league.
