San Jose scored first once again. The team that scored first won every game in this series. Joe Pavelski made it a 1-0 game in the first period. Joel Ward made it 2-0 in the second period and 3-0 in the third period.
Joel Ward tied the game at 2. That made it a tie game until Robbi Fabbri gave the Blues a 3-2 lead on a power play goal.
Logan Couture had 2 assists in the third period. One was on Ward's second goal. Couture's other assist occured later in the third period as the Sharks scored in the third period.
Vladimir Tarasenko finally got his head out of his rear end in the third period. He scored the Blues only two goals in game six. It was too little too late for the Blues.
San Jose advances to the 2016 Stanley Cup Finals. The Sharks will either face the Tampa Bay Lightning or Pittsburgh Penguins next Wednesday. We will know the Sharks opponent in the 2016 Stanley Cup Finals once game 7 ends.
