New England Revolution 2016 Season Preview

The New England Revolution have Charlie Davies who got 10 goals and Lee Nguyen who had 10 assists as a secondary striker. Kelyn Rowe plays left wing at midfield.
Xavier Kouassi got injured at midfielder. Still the Revolution managed to trade for Gershon Koffie at midfielder. Koffie was the attacking midfielder for the Vancouver Whitecaps for five years. Now he'll take that veteran leadership to New England.
New England's defense is much stronger this season. Sambinha will be playing at center back to fill a glaring void at center back that New England had last season. Andrew Farrell has a full season of experience at center back under his belt. Jordan McCrary can play the right back role that Farrell once played and everything will be back to normal on defense in New England with the Revolution boasting their best defense since making the 2014 MLS Cup.
Prediction: New England could get back to the Eastern Conference Finals. Heck the Revolution may even win the Eastern Conference. If New England does not win a playoff game with the additions they made it will make you wonder if Sambinha was a bad fit or if McCrary is not MLS ready because Jay Heaps is the right coach for the job. New England has the coach and the skill players up front to win and with a stronger defense I expect them to make run in the Eastern Conference even though this team still lacks a piece or two to win the 2016 MLS Cup.
