Future MVPs of the NHL
Posted By Curtis A. Galbraith
There has been much discussion on the emergence of new superstars in the NHL and who will take over as the face of the league. In this article, I will point out several candidates who may be in the discussion of MVP in the upcoming years.
Gabriel Landeskog at only 22 years old has plenty of time to develop into a league MVP candidate. A former first round pick armed with a skilled left handed shot. He will be a force on the ice.
Jamie Benn at the age of 25 is another young star in the making. With a stout bull rush technique Benn could push his way into the MVP conversation in the next couple of years.
Jack Eichel at age 18 is the white whale of American born hockey players. Impressive with the puck in his hands, he could be a lethal threat in the future. Look out for Eichel.
The NHL is in search of its new young talent and these three young guns will be just a few of names in the hat to take over the face of the NHL. Comment who you think is a better candidate and Draft Utopia will discuss the suggestions in upcoming articles.
