- The Los Angeles Kings draft a goalie for depth that could become a backup to Carter George down the road. Kam Hendrickson is my top goalie on the board in the seventh round. Kam Hendrickson was the team captain at Chanhassen High School in Minnesota before committing to the Omaha Lancers full time in 2023-2024.
- The 6-2 185 lb Kam Hendrickson had a 2.62 goals against average, .900 save percentage, 2 shutouts, and a 13-12-3 record in 28 starts playing in 29 games with both the Omaha Lancers and Waterloo Blackhawks in 2024-2025. Kam Hendrickson is going to Connecticut this Fall.
- Kam Hendrickson checks off 5/10 boxes. He's got to improve his post integration, glove, reading the puck by tracking, post save recovery, and puck handling. He's quicker than most goalies in this draft, but his glove is also the biggest project of the goalies in this draft class.
Toronto Maple Leafs: Andrei Trofimov, G, Metallurg Magnitogorsk (KHL)
- Anthony Stolarz enters a contract year. Joseph Woll has two years left on his contract. Toronto has to draft a goalie with their final pick if they focus on other positions earlier in this draft.
- The 6-2 170 lb Andrei Trofimiov had a 2.10 goals against average, .929 save percentage, 3 shutouts, and a 13-7-2 record in 22 starts while playing 26 MHL games in 2024-2025. There's not a lot of tape on him, but I've seen him projected as early as the third round.
- I'm not sure how many boxes Andrei Trofimov checks off. Toronto does need a goalie which is the biggest reason Andrei Trofimov got picked in my mock draft.

Columbus Blue Jackets: Chase Jette, C, Waterloo Blackhawks (USHL)
- The Columbus Blue Jackets get a center to stash and develop with the Vegas Golden Knights seventh round pick. Chase Jette is a nice addition here.
