2021 NFL Mock Draft: Final Mock 7 Rounds

Round 7

Chris Ransom follow @DraftUtopia Last Updated: April 29, 2021.

  1. New Orleans Saints: Josh Imatorbhebhe, WR, Illinois

New Orleans lost their number two target Emmanuel Sanders to the Buffalo Bills. Josh Imatorbhebhe is a receiver that I project as a backup. At the same time this big body receiver is projected to go earlier than where I have him in most mock drafts and New Orleans is one place where he'll get an opportunity to contribute early rather than never.

  2. San Francisco 49ers: Lorenzo Neal, DT, Purdue

San Francisco gets depth at 4-3 defensive tackle behind Arik Armstead and Javon Kinlaw. Lorenzo Neal is a good value pick at this point in the seventh round.

  3. Miami Dolphins: Tory Carter, FB, LSU

Miami doesn't have a fullback on their roster. They draft Tory Carter in the seventh round as a fullback.

  4. Tennessee Titans: Zach Davidson, TE, Central Missouri

Tennessee grabs a tight end here. They lost Jonnu Smith to New England and still haven't drafted a tight end yet. It's also worth mentioning that former Tennessee Titans tight end Delanie Walker also went to Central Missouri.

  5. Houston Texans: Robert Hainsey, RG, Notre Dame

Robert Hainsey struggled in pass protection when lining up at left guard, center, and right guard at the 2021 Reese's Senior Bowl after playing right tackle at Notre Dame. He can come in as a backup right guard and learn under Marcus Cannon. Maybe being mentored by Marcus Cannon will help him fix his woeful pass protection.

  6. Philadelphia Eagles: Carl Tucker, FB, Alabama

Carl Tucker played fullback at Alabama. Philadelphia grabs the best fullback on the board.

  7. Cincinnati Bengals: Paddy Fisher, MLB, Northwestern

Paddy Fisher gives Cincinnati good depth as well as leadership at middle linebacker. I'm not as high on him as Jason Bantle, but he's simply too good to pass on in the seventh round if he's still there.

  8. Buffalo Bills: Spencer Brown, RB, UAB

Buffalo gets a running back for depth in the seventh round. Spencer Brown out of UAB is my best ranked running back on the board at this point in the seventh round.

  9. Denver Broncos: Ta'Quon Graham, 3-4 LE, Texas

Denver grabs a 3-4 defensive end for depth in the seventh round. Ta'Quon Graham can play 3-4 right end or 3-4 left end with his versatility.

  10. Dallas Cowboys: Jamie Newman, QB, Wake Forest

Dallas gets a backup to Dak Prescott here. They get Jamie Newman here. The 6-4 230 lb Jamie Newman transferred from Wake Forest to Georgia. There is a lot to like with Newman, but just by watching his Wake Forest tape he's a third round prospect getting overhyped by the media. He needs to do what Joe Burrow did in order to sneak into the first round where most draft sites are pegging him at this point.

Jamie Newman never played a down at Georgia opting out due to Covid-19. You can find out why in our interview of Jamie Newman from the 2021 Reese's Senior Bowl. You can click the link below to listen to that recorded press conference of Wake Forest quarterback Jamie Newman.

  11. Denver Broncos: Damonte Coxie, WR, Memphis

DaeShon Hamilton may get traded for a late round pick. If he does a backup receiver for depth behind Courtland Sutton, Jerry Jeudy, and K.J. Hamler will be needed.

  12. Philadelphia Eagles: Charles Snowden, LOLB, Virginia

Philadelphia grabs a second linebacker for depth in this draft. Charles Snowden is a nice value pick in the seventh round.

  13. Los Angeles Chargers: Tommy Kraemer, RG, Notre Dame

Los Angeles gets a right guard to replace Trai Turner. Tommy Kraemer is a good value pick in the seventh round.

  14. New England Patriots: Elijah Mitchell, RB, Louisiana

New England drafts a second running back. This is such a deep running back class. You got running backs with upside to be starters in rounds 1-7 which is why New England drafts Mitchell who happens to be the final running back on my running back rankings.

  15. Arizona Cardinals: Trevon Grimes, WR, Florida

Arizona gets another receiver for depth. Trevon Grimes is a great value pick for Arizona in the seventh round.

  16. Miami Dolphins: Max Duffy, P, Kentucky

Miami grabs a punter. Max Duffy is the top punter left in this years draft.

  17. Pittsburgh Steelers: Amen Ogbongbemiga, 3-4 MLB, Oklahoma State

Pittsburgh has Devin Bush, Vince Williams, and Robert Spillane back as 3-4 middle linebackers. One more 3-4 middle linebacker is needed for depth purposes as a reserve linebacker. That's where Amen Ogbongbemiga comes into play.

  18. Washington Football Team: Chauncey Golston, LE, Iowa

Washington gets another 4-3 defensive end for depth. Chauncey Golston gives Washington a second quality backup at 4-3 defensive end.

  19. Arizona Cardinals: Tommy Doyle, LT, Miami Ohio

I'm giving Arizona an offensive tackle for depth at left tackle behind D.J. Humphries. Tommy Doyle is the last offensive tackle on my offensive tackle rankings.

  20. Indianapolis Colts: Anthony Schwartz, WR, Auburn

I'm giving Indianapolis a wide receiver for depth. Anthony Schwartz is a great value pick in the seventh round.

  21. Jacksonville Jaguars: Isaiah McDuffie, LOLB, Boston College

Jacksonville grabs a 4-3 left outside linebacker for depth to push Leon Jacobs. Isaiah McDuffie is a good value pick for that role this late in the seventh round.

  22. Seattle Seahawks: Bryan Mills, CB, North Carolina Central

Bryan Mills is one of the best cornerbacks in this draft. Seattle gets another cornerback for depth here.

  23. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Sadarius Hutcherson, LG, South Carolina

Tampa Bay drafts a guard for depth behind Ali Marpet at left guard and Alex Cappa at right guard. Luckily for Tampa Bay, Sadarius Hutcherson has experience at both left guard and right guard plus he's versatile enough to plug into either guard spot.

  24. Los Angeles Rams: Harry Crider, C, Indiana

Los Angeles grabs a center for depth here. Harry Crider is a great value pick in the seventh round.

  25. Denver Broncos: Tariq Thompson, FS, San Diego State

Tariq Thompson can play nickel cornerback, strong safety, or free safety with his versatility. Denver gets him as a safety for depth behind Eddie Jackson and Justin Simmons on their depth chart.

  26. Pittsburgh Steelers: Tamorrion Terry, WR, Florida State

Tamorrion Terry is a great deep threat wide receiver. The rest of his game needs to improve. Pittsburgh can develop the rest of his game in 2021. Then in 2022, when JuJu Smith-Schuster and James Washington become Free Agents, the Steelers can give Tamorrion Terry a bigger role.

  27. New Orleans Saints: Marlon Williams, WR, Central Florida

New Orleans drafts a second receiver in the seventh round. This gives New Orleans even more competition for the number two receiver spot next to Michael Thomas.

  28. Green Bay Packers: Richard McBryde, 3-4 MLB, SMU

Green Bay drafts a second 3-4 middle linebacker late in the seventh round. Richard McBryde transferred from Auburn to SMU.

  29. Cleveland Browns: Blake Gallagaher, LOLB, Northwestern

Cleveland grabs an outside linebacker for depth. Blake Gallagher is the best outside linebacker left on my board.

  30. Washington Football Team: Ryan McCollum, C, Texas A&M

Washington drafts a backup center to Chase Roullier. Ryan McCollum is the final center to crack my top ten center rankings.

  31. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Jeremiah Moon, 3-4 LOLB, Florida

Jeremiah Moon is my Mr. Irrelvant this year. Last year in 2020 my Mr. Irrelevant was James Robinson out of Illinois State who had a pretty good rookie year as a UDFA with the Jacksonville Jaguars. NFL teams may want to take note if they made it this far through my mock draft.

Also I'd like to thank anyone and everyone who had the patience to get through all the picks 1-259. That takes dedication and reading through all these picks makes you a die hard in my eyes.
