2026 NFL Mock Draft: Final Mock 7 Rounds

Round 1 Picks 1-16

The 2026 NFL Draft is headlined by Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza. Find out who got Fernando Mendoza and how the rest of the first round played out.

Chris Ransom follow @DraftUtopia Last Updated: April 23, 2026.

  1. Las Vegas Raiders: Fernando Mendoza, QB, Indiana

Las Vegas gets their quarterback in my first mock draft update on the website since August. Only one player in this draft scored a max grade of 99/99 for potential and ceiling after assessing this draft class. That player was Mendoza and largely because Indiana went 16-0 with Mendoza winning the Heisman. I do not believe Mendoza is in the same class of qbs that warrant a max grade coming out of college like John Elway, Peyton Manning, Andrew Luck, Trevor Lawrence, or Caleb Williams. However, if the Las Vegas Raiders believe Fernando Mendoza can become that in 2-5 years, they have no reason to pass on him with the first overall pick. The asking price for this pick from the New York Jets was four first rounders and Garrett Wilson. Even with the signing of Kirk Cousins in Free Agency, Cousins is a bridge quarterback until Mendoza is ready to start. There is always the possibility Mendoza beats out Cousins in camp too.

The 6-4 236 lb Fernando Mendoza had 3,535 passing yards, 276 rushing yards, 3,811 total yards, 41 passing touchdowns, 7 rushing touchdowns, 48 total touchdowns, and 6 interceptions. Fernando Mendoza went 53/56 at Indiana's Pro Day with two of his three incompletions being drops by wide receivers. Fernando Mendoza had an amazing supporting cast on offense with Elijah Sarratt and Omar Cooper Jr. at wide receiver along with Carter Smith at left tackle and Pat Coogan at center. That supporting cast and Curt Cignetti's offense do mask some of his weaknesses. I don't think that will matter with Mendoza coming off a 16-0 season since he will be a stud if he reaches a max grade ceiling like Elway, Manning, and Luck did. There's also a chance Mendoza is a dud if the Raiders do not improve the offense around him.

The Los Vegas Raiders offensive line has Kolton Miller back at left tackle, Spencer Burford at left guard, Tyler Linderbaum at center, and Jackson Powers-Johnson at right guard. I like Charles Grant as a backup left tackle and Caleb Rodgers as a backup right guard. Upgrading over DJ Glaze at right tackle is a must. You have Ashton Jeanty at running back, Brock Bowers as your main tight end, and Michael Mayer as your secondary tight end. You do not have a number one or number two wide receiver for Mendoza. Burford could be good, but he could alos be a disaster, but he's better than DJ Glaze. Mendoza could succeed in 2027 if the Raiders ease him in th way the Rams eased Jared Goff or the Chiefs eased Patrick Mahomes in. If he's thrown into the fire this season, I expect a ton of growing pains to the point where it may affect his confidence. That is why I feel like Mendoza is the first boom or bust prospect since Cam Newton in 2011. If Mendoza becomes as good as Cam Newton, the Raiders should return to a Super Bowl at some point in the future. We can explore that possibility in the 2030's if Mendoza ges a second contract since I do not believe it will happen right now in the 2020's decade.

Fernando Mendoza is first on the Draft Utopia 2026 NFL Draft Simulator. Click that link to check out our six draft simulators at the Utopia Of Sports. We also have a MLS, WNBA, and MLB one as well.

Previous Pick: Anthony Hill Jr., MLB, Texas

    Other Las Vegas Raiders Selections

  2. New York Jets: Arvel Reese, MLB, Ohio State

New York is expected to draft Ohio State middle linebacker Arvel Reese here. Some have Reese as a pass rusher, but his natural position is middle linebacker and that's where I am listing him. Reese could work as a pass rusher in a 3-4 defense, but the Jets run a 4-3 defense. This is literally the worst place Arvel Reese could end up. Also, I got Arvel Reese at 18 on my draft simulator which is a compilation of my personal big board based on what I would do if I ran all 32 NFL teams.

The 6-4 241 lb Arvel Reese had 34 solo tackles, 35 assisted tackles, 69 total tackles, 10 tackles for a loss, 7 sacks, 5 quarterback hurries, and 2 deflectons from pass breakups in 2025. Only 15 players did well enough to earn a blue chip grade from me. Carnell Tate, Kenyon Sadiq, and Arvell Reese were my three best play

Arvel Reese does not have as high of a ceiling as Texas middle linebacker Anthony Hill Jr. whose still my top middle linebacker this year despite being an avid Ohio State fan. He did beat Anthony Hill Jr. with Ohio State's defense besting Texas 14-7 in the first week of the season. Arvel Reese made life hell for Arch Manning in the season opener. He also made life hell for Washington running back Jonah Coleman, my second best running back in this years draft. Reese has better size than Anthny Hill Jr. and he called plays for a former NFL defensive coordinator in Matt Patricia. These are the two biggest reasons he's being overhyped by NFL scouts in my opinion.

I feel like Arvel Reese only excels as a pass rusher. His only two deflections came against the Ohio Bobcats. All of his sacks came from the season opener to November first before he struggled to get ot the quarterback in Ohio State's final two games. Arvel Reese is not the best pass rusher, run stuffer, or linebacker in coverage while I believe Anthony Hill Jr. excels in all three of those areas. Regardless of how I feel about Arvel Reese as a prospect, he is the guy the New York Jets are reportedly locked in on at this point with the second pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.

    Other New York Jets Selections

Previous Pick: Drew Allar, QB, Penn State

  3. Arizona Cardinals: David Bailey, 3-4 LOLB

Arizona did not get 10 sacks from Josh Sweat at 3-4 right outside linebacker after poaching him from the Philadelphia Eagles. Arizona gets a sack artist to compliment Josh Sweat here. I believe David Bailey will be the pick here regardless of whether Arizona keeps the third pick or if Arizona trades down with the team like the Dallas Cowboys for multiple first round picks such as picks 12 and 20 which would allow Arizona to get a right tackle and a quarterback.

The 6-4 251 lb David Bailey had 32 solo tackles, 20 assisted tackles, 52 total tackles, 19.5 tackles for a loss, 14.5 sacks, 13 quarterback hurries, 3 deflections from pass breakups, and 3 forced fumbles in 2025. David Bailey can sack the quarterback, stop the run, and drop back into coverage. David Bailey also ran the fastest 40-yard dash among defensive ends at the 2026 NFL Combine. I have Rueben Bain Jr. graded above David Bailey, but Bailey is my third best overall pick as either one of those pass rushers would be a home run pick for the Arizona Cardinals at 3. David Bailey Jr. is probably a better scheme fit for the Arizona Cardinals 3-4 defense, but I got a 98/99 for potential on Rueben Bain jr. and a 97/99 on David Bailey as I see Rueben Bain Jr. as a better scheme fit for a 4-3 defense. Those two are my top two guys not named Fernando Mendoza and both could have better NFL careers than Mendoza on the right team. David Bailey's bull rush is hit or miss in terms of consistency despite checking off a lot of boxes.

Arizona's defense would have Darius Robinson at 3-4 right end, Roy Lopez as well as Andrew Billings at 3-4 nose tackle, Walter Nolen III at 3-4 left end. Dante Stills is the backup 3-4 right end and L.J. Collier is the backup3-4 left end. Josh Sweat would start at 3-4 right outside linebacker with David Bailey complimenting him at 3-4 left outside linebacker. Mack Wilson Sr. and Cody Simon would start at 3-4 middle linebacker. B.J. Ojulari, Zaven Collins, and Baron Browning are your backup pass rushers. Owen Pappoe and Jack Gibbins are your depth pieces at 3-4 middle linebacker. Will Johnson is your field cornerback with Denzel Burke as your boundary cornerback with Garrett Williams at nickel cornerbck with all three of those cornerbacks on rookie deals. Budda Baker is th e strong safety. Dadrion Taylor-Demerson at free safety is probably the only player that you need up to upgrade among your starters on a pretty deep defense whean healthy outside of Zaven Collins.

Previous Pick: Carnell Tate, WR, Ohio State

    Other Arizona Cardinals Selections

  4. Tennessee Titans: Jeremiyah Love, RB, Notre Dame

Tennessee seems to be moving from a 3-4 to a 4-3 defense. I only see Tennessee taking two players either Jeremiyah Love or Rueben Bain Jr. I think Rueben Bain Jr. has the higher ceiling, but Jeremiyah Love is the younger player. I got a 98/99 on Rueben Bain Jr. and a 97/99 on Jeremiyah Love. I don't think the Titans can get a player better than either of these two in 2027. Jeremiyah Love is younger and has no injury history. Rueben Bain Jr. had a season ending injury in 2024, he has a short arm length, and is older than Love. That could ultimately factor into the Tennessee Titans decision to draft Jeremiyah Love fourth overall.

The 6-0 212 lb Jeremyiah Love had 153 carries, 1,125 rushing yards, 17 rushing touchdowns, 28 receptions, 237 receiving yards, 2 receiving touchdowns, 181 touches, 1,362 total yards, and 19 total touchdowns in 2024. Jeremiyah Love had 190 carries, 1,372 rushing yards, 18 rushing touchdowns, 27 receptions, 280 receiving yards, 3 receiving touchdowns, 217 touches, 1,652 total yards, and 21 total touchdowns as a junior in 2025.

Jeremiyah Love has the speed, pass catching, ball carrier vision, and pass blocking you want in an NFL running back. His predecessors Kyren Williams and Audric Estime checked off these boxes as well and Love looks like he should be better than Estime and has a shot to be just as good as Kyren Williams with potentialy more game speed. Drafting Jeremiyah Love gives the Tennessee Titans three running backs that can take pressure off of Cam Ward in Jeremiyah Love, Tony Pollard as a change of pace back, and Tyjae Spears whose good enough to be a backup as a third string running back on the final year of his rookie deal. Having htat much depth at running back allows Brian Dabboll to use Cam Ward in the same capacity he used Dasniel Jones when he was the Giants head coach which will allow Ward to see a moderate, but not sustainable level of success.

Here is film of Jeremiyah Love against Texas A&M. You can watch that video below.

Previous Pick: T.J. Parker, 3-4 ROLB, Clemson

Other Tennessee Titans Selections

  • New York Giants: Caleb Downs, FS, Ohio State

Sonny Styles is the betting favorite to go fifth overall. Caleb Downs will go fifth though since the Giants have a need a free safety, a true center fielder. Both John Harbaugh and Caleb Downs showed positive body language and had their feet pointed towards each other at Ohio State's Pro Day. There are photos of it on X. John Harbaugh has way more pull than Joe Schoen at this point.

The 6-0 205 lb Caleb Downs had 70 solo tackles, 37 assisted tackles, 107 total tackles, 4 deflections from pass breakups, 3.5 tackles for a loss, 2 interceptions, 4 returns for 87 yards on punt returns, and 1 special teams touchdown as a true freshman after being a five star recruit in High School in 2023. Caleb Downs had 49 solo tackles, 33 assisted tackles, 82 total tackles, 7.5 tackles for a loss, 6 deflections from pass breakups, 2 interceptions, 1 quarterback hurry, 0.5 sack, 6 returns for 98 yards, and 1 touchdown on special teams leading Ohio State to a National Championship as the top true sophomore in the nation in 2024. CalebDowns had 45 solo tackles, 23 assisted tackles, 68 total tackles, 5 tackles for a loss, 2 deflections from pass breakups, 2 interceptions, 2 force fumbles, 1 sack, and 1 quarterback hurry in 2025.

Caleb Downs got an A+ in man coverage, zone coverage, and press coverage. Caleb Downs can play in a cover 0, cover 1, cover 2, cover 3, or cover 4 defense. Eric Berry and Kyle Hamilton were the only two safeties to begin and end their draft years with an A+ in all three coverage categories. Caleb Downs ran a 4.43 40-yard dash this Spring and is closer to Eric Berry than Kyle Hamilton in terms of game speed, but without the versatility to play all three defensive back roles at nickel cornerback, strong safety, and free safety that you want a defensive back that plays safety in the NFL to play. Caleb Downs is a pure free safety, but he fills a need and is arguably the best overall player in the entire 2026 NFL Draft.

Here is film of Caleb Downs against Texas. You can watch that video below.

  • Cleveland Browns: Caleb Downs, FS, Ohio State

Cleveland could go a number of different options at 4. Quarterback is an option, but I do not think there's a quarterback with a higher ceiling than Shedeur Sanders in the 2026 NFL Draft. Left tackle and a 4-3 left end next to Myles Garrett are also options. Tight end, cornerback, and free safety are also options. The number one player on my big board for the 2026 NFL Draft is Ohio State free safety Caleb Downs. He would compliment field cornerback Denzel Ward and strong safety Grant Delpit quite well on this defense.

  • New Orleans Saints: Cade Klubnik, QB, Clemson

I love the New Orleans Saints offensive line, but if New Orleans is picking this high it means their quarterback trio failed as well even with a reliable number one wide receiver when healthy in Chris Olave. Tyler Shough, Spencer Rattler, and Jake Haener were all drafted outside of the first round and none of these three look dominant enough to run away with the starting quarterback job with Kellen Moore playing one quarterback on each down in some New Orleans Saints training camp sessions.

The 6-2 210 lb Cade Klubnik had 3,639 passing yards, 463 rushing yards, 4,102 total yards, 36 passing touchdowns, 7 rushing touchdowns, 43 total touchdowns, 6 interceptions, and a 63.4% completion percentage as a junior in 2024. Cade Klubnik opens up the season with Clemson against LSU quarterback Garrett Nussmeier in a game that may end up deciding the first quarterback drafted in the 2026 NFL Draft.

Cade Klubnik can play in a balanced run first offense, a vertical offense, and a shotgun spread offense. He can run more schemes than Garrett Nussmeier and he's the best quarterback at throwing on the run. His accuracy was inconsistent in last years ACC Championship on tape and that part of Klubnik's game will need to get cleaned up if he's going to succeed in the NFL.

  • Minnesota Vikings: Jermod McCoy, CB, Tennessee

Minnesota will need another cornerback to pair with Mekhi Becton if Byron Murphy Jr. leaves in Free Agency. Tennessee cornerback Jermod McCoy is one of five players on my big board with a 94/99 for potential. He's also the top cornerback in the 2025 NFL Draft.

The 6-0 193 lb Jermod McCoy had 26 solo tackles, 18 assisted tackles, 44 total tackles, 9 deflections from pass breakups, 4 interceptions, and 0.5 tackles for a loss in 2024. Jermod McCoy was not targeted once in Ohio State's blowout win over Tennessee in the 2024-2025 College Football Playoff which shows you how much Will Howard respected Jermod McCoy's presence on Tennessee's defense.

I gave Jermod McCoy an A+ in man coverage, an A- in zone coverage, and an A in press coverage because even though McCoy is deadly in press coverage, he does keep his hands on receivers too long when playing press coverage and that does lead to penalties which is the biggest reason why I gave McCoy an A instead of an A+ in press coverage. Jermod McCoy can play in a cover 0, cover 1, cover 2, cover 3, or cover 4 defense. Jermod McCoy tore his ACL back in January and may not play at all in 2025. Jermod McCoy had a 99.9 game athleticism score on Pro Football Focus and is the first defensive back on Tennessee to score that highly since Eric Berry who went fifth overall in the 2010 NFL Draft.

  • Los Angeles Rams: Lanorris Sellers, QB, South Carolina

Lanorris Sellers only makes 1/6 progressions. He makes up for his lack of progressions by having the strong arm strength and velocity among any quarterback in the 2026 NFL Draft. I got a 91/99 potential on Lanorris Sellers, but his floor is probably at a 61 right now with Sellers having a similar floor and ceiling to Cleveland Browns third round pick Dillon Gabriel. He's also a duel threat quarterback whose cousins of WNBA draft pick Shyanne Sellers. Sellers is raw, but he could thrive learning under Matthew Stafford for a year in Sean McVay's offense.

The 6-3 240 lb Lanorris Sellers had 2,534 passing yards, 674 rushing yards, 3,208 total yards, 18 passing touchdowns, 7 rushing touchdowns, 25 total touchdowns, and 7 interceptions in his first year as a starting quarterback after taking over for Spencer Rattler in 2024. Lanorris Sellers struggled against LSU early in the season and came within two point of beating Jalen Milroe in Tuscaloosa. He looked much better down the stretch in South Carolina's final three regular season games against Missouri, Wofford, and Clemson where Lanoris Sellers bested Cade Klubnik by helping South Carolina defeat Clemson.

Lanorris Sellers would be set up for failure on most NFL teams unless he took a massive leap in 2025. On the Los Angeles Rams he gets the best coach for a rookie quarterback as well as hands on mentorship from a Super Bowl winning quarterback in Matthew Stafford. That is what gives Lanorris Sellers a fighting chance to reach his potential and be the steal of the 2026 NFL Draft.

  • Seattle Seahawks: Kyle Louis, 3-4 ROLB, Pittsburgh

Seattle gets a pass rusher for their 3-4 defense. One of the best pass rushers in the 2026 NFL Draft that isn't getting enough attention is Pittsburgh linebacker Kyle Louis who can be utilized as an edge rusher, run stuffer, and a coverage linebacker. He is extremely versatile as well.

Kyle Louis can play 4-3 right end, 4-3 left end, 4-3 right outside linebacker, 4-3 middle linebacker, 4-3 left outside linebacker, 3-4 right outside linebacker, 3-4 middle linebacker, and 3-4 left outside linebacker. This guy is like a swiss army knife in the front 7 that Pitt head coach Pat Narduzzi operates.

The 6-0 225 Kyle Louis had 45 solo tackles, 56 assisted tackles, 101 total tackles, 15.5 tackles for a loss, 9 quarterback hurries, 7 sacks, 4 interceptions, 3 deflections from pass breakups, 1 forced fumble, 1 blocked kick/punt, and 1 defensive touchdown on a pick 6 in 2024. Kyle Louis also got an A+ grade in both man coverage and zone coverage which is pretty rare for a linebacker. I have a 93/99 potential on Kyle Louis as Louis is my tenth best player in my early 2026 NFL Draft big board making him an ideal fit for the Seattle Seahawks with the ninth pick in this 2026 NFL Mock Draft.

  • Denver Broncos: Jordyn Tyson, WR, Arizona State

Denver gets a number two wide receiver to pair with Courtland Sutton on the outside. This also allows Marvin Mims Jr. to move to slot receiver. Evan Engram is now the starting tight end. Drafting Jordyn Tyson the top wide receiver in the 2026 NFL Draft as a number two wide receiver next to Courtland Sutton gives Bo Nix another weapon in the Denver Broncos offense.

The 6-1 195 lb Jordyn Tyson had 75 receptions, 1,101 receiving yards, and 10 receiving touchdowns as a sophomore in 2024. I got a 94/99 for potential on Jordyn Tyson. He is the only wide receiver currently in the top 10 of my big board for the 2026 NFL Draft.

Jordyn Tyson ran 14/30 routes on the route tree. That is slightly below average, but if he can build on his spectacular sophomore season and improve his route tree, he could go even higher than where he is currently projected. On the flip side, if he regresses he could fall in the draft.

  • Miami Dolphins: Kendrick Faulk, 3-4 LOLB, Auburn

Kendrick Faulk lined up at 4-3 right end, 4-3 left end, 3-4 right outside linebacker, and 3-4 left outside linebacker at Auburn this past season. Most have Kendrick Faulk as the second best pass rusher behind T.J. Parker, but Kyle Louis impressed me more on film which is why Faulk fell out of the top 10. Miami can draft Faulk as a replacement to Jaelan Phillips with either Bradley Chubb or Chop Robinson as the main 3-4 right outside linebacker complimenting him.

The 6-5 288 lb Kendrick Faulk had 29 solo tackles, 16 assisted tackles, 45 total tackles, 11 tackles for a loss, 7 sacks, 7 quarterback hurries, 1 forced fumble, and 1 deflection from a pass breakup in 2024. Kendrick Faulk may have the size of a 5-technique, but he only has the experience of lining up as an edge rusher versus playing on the interior as a 3-4 defensive end.

  • Dallas Cowboys: Jeremiyah Love, RB, Notre Dame

Dallas drafts a running back here. Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love is fourth on my big board with a 95/99 potential and is the best player on my big board by quite a margin at this point in the draft.

The 6-0 214 lb Jeremyiah Love had 153 carries, 1,125 rushing yards, 17 rushing touchdowns, 28 receptions, 237 receiving yards, 2 receiving touchdowns, 181 touches, 1,362 total yards, and 19 total touchdowns in 2024.

Giving the Dallas Cowboys offensive line and quarterback Dak Prescott a bell cow like this for the first time since Ezekiel Elliott was on his rookie deal would do wonders for the Dallas Cowboys offense.

  • Chicago Bears: Nicholas Singleton, RB, Penn State

Chicago gets a running back to compliment D'Andre Swift in the short-term and replace Swift in the long-term. Detroit drafted Jahmyr Gibbs in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft to compliment David Montgomery before making him the bell cow when Ben Johnson was Detroit's offensive coordinator. There were a lot of rumors about Ashton Jeanty to Chicago last year even though that never transpired. I believe Johnson will try to bring the two running back system he had in Detroit to Chicago should Caleb Williams fail to get Chicago to the playoffs in year two. I think Caleb Williams can get Chicago to the playoffs by his third season, but Chicago's schedule is just hell this season.

Not only would Caleb Williams have a run heavy offense like Detroit. Caleb Williams would have weapons like D.J. Moore, Rome Oduzne, and Luther Burden III at wide receiver. Caleb Williams would also have a two tight end set with Cole Kmet and Coslton Loveland with the addition of Nicholas Singleton in this backfield. There would be zero excuses for Caleb Williams entering his third season in 2026.

The 6-0 224 lb Nicholas Singleton had 156 carries, 1,061 rushing yards, 12 rushing touchdowns, 11 receptions, 85 receiving yards, 1 receiving touchdown, 167 touches, 1,146 total yards, and 13 total touchdowns as a true freshman in 2022. Nicholas Singleton had 171 carries, 752 rushing yards, 8 rushing touchdowns, 26 receptions, 308 receiving yards, 2 receiving touchdowns, 197 touches, 1,060 total yards, and 10 total touchdowns as a sophomore in 2023. Nicholas Singleton had 172 carries, 1,099 rushing yards, 12 rushing touchdowns, 41 receptions, 375 receiving yards, 5 receiving touchdowns, 213 touches, 1,376 total yards, and 17 total touchdowns as a junior in 2024.

Nicholas Singleton could have declared for the 2025 NFL Draft, but he opted to return to Penn State for his senior season. Nicholas Singleton has the speed, pass catching, ball carrier vision, and pass blocking. He checks every box you want in an NFL running back like Jeremiyah Love, but doesn't have the top end game speed Love has which is why he is the second best running back in this draft behind Love.

  • Carolina Panthers: Spencer Fano, RT, Utah

Carolina is going to have to extend Ikem Ekwonu their 2022 first round pick soon and Taylor Moton enters the final year of his contract after being Carolina's 2017 second round pick. Carolina is probably letting Moton walk and reloading at offensive tackle if Ikem Ekwonu gets extended. Utah offensive tackle Spencer Fano has experience on both sides of the offensive line and makes a lot of sense for Carolina. The last offensive tackle Carolina drafted out of Utah was Jordan Gross and that worked out well for the Carolina Panthers before injuries caught up to Gross.

The 6-6 302 lb Spencer Fano has the pass blocking, pass blocking strength, pass blocking footwork, run blocking, run blocking strength, run blocking footwork, zone blocking, pancake blocking, pull blocking, and cut blocking you want in an offensive tackle. Having the versatility to play both offensive tackle roles starting at left tackle as a true freshman before moving to right tackle as a true sophomore shows he is versatile enough to plug into either offensive tackle role. I have a 94/99 on two offensive tackles in the 2026 NFL Draft with one of those being Utah right tackle Spencer Fano and Alabama left tackle Kadyn Proctor. Fano had way better tape than Proctor from what I saw.

If Bryce Young turns the corner this year, you will have to worry about paying him. If that happens, Carolina will most likely only have enough money for either Ikem Ekwonu or Tayor Moton which is why Spencer Fano comes into play here. I have Carolina leading the NFC South down the stretch before losing a week 18 road contest to the eventual NFC South Champion. Carolina would likely have Ikem Ekwonu at left tackle, Damien Lewis at left guard, Robert Hunt at right guard, and Spencer Fano at right tackle if Carolina cannot keep Taylor Moton around.

  • Green Bay Packers: Kadyn Proctor, LT, Alabama

Green Bay extended right tackle Zach Tom. Left tackle Rasheed Walker will probably get replaced. Alabama left tackle Kadyn Proctor makes sense here.

The 6-7 360 lb Kadyn Proctor has the pass blocking, pass blocking strength, pass blocking footwork, run blocking, run blocking strength, and pancake blocking you want. His run blocking footwork is abysmal as Proctor is a liability as a run blocker when he doesn't get his hands on a defender. He is not a great zone blocker and does not seem like someone who excels as a pull blocker or a cut blocker despite his massive size.

Kadyn Proctor could be the top left tackle in the 2026 NFL Draft. He transferred to Iowa twice for more NIl money before going back to Alabama. He also has character issues despite his immense potential. Taking him at 5 feels a fireable offense, but a team like the Green Bay Packers may be able to get the most out of him giving Jordan Love a premium blindside if they can fix the weaknessess Proctor has as well as his attitude. Green Bay would have Kadyn Proctor at left tackle, Aaron Banks at left guard, Elgton Jenkins at center, Jordan Morgan at right guard, and Zach Tom at right tackle with that offensive line doing wonders for quarterback Jordan Love and running back Josh Jacobs.

  • Indianapolis Colts: Avieon Terrell, CB, Clemson

Indianapolis gets a shutdown cornerback to compliment Charvarius Ward. If Indianapolis somehow lives up to my 8-9 projection, which they probably will not, then Anthony Richardson gets a fourth year. In this scenario, getting a cornerback to pair with Charvarius Ward becomes an option. Justin Walley might end up supplanting both JuJu Brents and Jaylon Jones as a starting cornerback after being the Colts 2025 third round pick and if Walley does, he could replace Kenny Moore II as the nickel cornerback. Clemson cornerback Avieon Terrell is the younger brother of Atlanta Falcons cornerback A.J. Terrell as Avieon Terrell makes a lot of sense for the Indianapolis Colts here.

The 5-11 180 lb Avieon Terrell had 45 solo tackles, 13 assisted tackles, 58 total tackles, 12 deflections from pass breakups, 4.5 tackles for a loss, 3 forced fumbles, 2 interceptions, and 1 sack in 2024. Avieon Terrell should be even better in 2025.

I gave Avieon Terrell an A+ in man coverage, a C+ in zone coverage, and a A+ in press coverage. Avieon Terrell can play in a cover 0, cover 1, or cover 2 defense. Avieon Terrell will struggle in cover 3 if he is playing zone coverage and will absolutely struggle in cover 4 since zone coverage is his weakness. Terrell can emerge as a challenger to Jermod McCoy for the top cornerback in the 2026 NFL Draft if he fixes his zone coverage since McCoy may miss all of this season recovering from a torn ACL back in a January practice after Tennessee lost their playoff game to Ohio State.
