Chris Babb Will Have To Carry The Maine Red Claws In 2014-2015

The Maine Red Claws will be one of the worst NBA D League teams in 2014-2015. The player that has to be Chris Babb. Babe scored 12 points per game in 2013-2014 with the Red Claws. Maine did not have a first round pick in the NBA D League Draft in 2014. Without any supporting players, the 6-5 225 lb Babb has to carry this team on his shoulders the entire season.

Like Patrick Christopher of the Iowa Energy, Babb is a guy that could go from the NBA D League to the NBA. I could easily see the Boston Celtics calling Babb up to play next to Marcus Smart in 2015 if he improves in 2014-2015 with a weaker supporting cast. He should also do his best to guide the Red Claws to the playoffs because the more you can do with a weak supporting cast, the stronger your case will be to make the NBA.
