2026 NBA Mock Draft: Final Mock 2 Rounds

Round 2

Chris Ransom follow @DraftUtopia Last Updated: June 23, 2026.

  1. New York Knicks: Meleek Thomas, SG, Arkansas

The New York Knicks gets a shooting guard for depth. Meleek Thomas would be a good backup to Josh Hart.

You can also check out our 2026 NBA Draft Simulator and draft your favorite prospects from the 2026 NBA Draft using our simulator. I just started adding second round prospects to the draft simulator.

The 6-3 189 lb Meleek Thomas averaged 15.6 points per game, 3.8 rebounds per game, 2.5 assists per game, 1.5 steals per game, a 43.5% field goal percentage, a 41.6% three point percentage, and a 84.3% free throw percentage as a freshman in 2025-2026. Meleek Thomas is the one consensus first round prospect that fell to the second round in my yearly NBA Mock Draft.

Meleek Thomas has the short range, medium range, and long range shots you want. He can pass to teammates. He's not a great defender though.

  2. Memphis Grizzlies: Jaden Bradley, PG, Arizona

Memphis drafts a point guard for depth behind Ja Morant. Luigi Suigo is a player I had a preseason first round grade on that fell to the second round.

The 6-2 201 lb Jaden Bradley had 12.1 points per game, 3.4 rebounds per game, 3.7 assists per game, a 46.7% field goal percentage, a 32.1% three point percentage, and a 82.7% free throw percentage as a junior in 2024-2025. Jaden Bradley had 13.3 points per game, 3.4 rebounds per game, 4.4 assists per game, a 46.3 field goal percentage, a 39.4% three point percentage, and a 80.9% free throw percentage as a senior helping Arizona get to the 2026 Final 4 in 2025-2026.

Jaden Bradley can shoot shots from short range, medium range, and long range. His other biggest strength is his playmaking. Jaden Bradley is a great passer who can get the ball to his teammates. He needs to improve his defense, but learning under Ja Morant may help him.

  3. Minnesota Timberwolves: Zuby Ejiofor, PF, St. John's

Minnesota has Ayo Dosunmu at point guard, Anthony Edwards at shooting guard, Jaden McDaniels at small forward, and Rudy Gobert at center. Minnesota drafts a power forward that can be a day 1 starter to round out this starting five after trading Julius Randle's entire salary and pick 28 to the Brooklyn Nets for this pick in a three team trade with the Chicago Bulls that sent Nic Claxton to Chicago.

The 6-7 245 lb Zuby Ejiofor had 14.7 points per game, 8.1 rebounds per game, 1.8 assists, 1.4 bocks per game, a 57.7% field goal percentage, a 22.2% three point percentage, a 70.8% free throw percentage, and helped St. John's win their first regular season title in the Big East as well as 2025 Big East Tournament Title under head coach Rick Pitino as a junior in 2024-2025. Zuby Ejiofor had 16.3 points per game, 7.3 rebounds per game, 3.8 assists per game, 2.1 blocks per game, 1.2 steals per game, a 53.6% field goal percentage, a 30.5% three point percentage, a 71.8% free throw percentage, and helped St. John's repeat as regular season champions in the Big East as well as win the 2026 Big East Tournament under head coach Rick Pitino as a senior in 2025-2026.

Zuby Ejiofor can shoot from short range, medium range, or long range. Zuby Ejiofor is great at passing the basketball to teammates. Zuby Ejiofor can defend the 1 at point guard, the 2 at shooting guard, the 3 at small forward, the 4 at power forward, and the 5 at center.

  4. Sacramento Kings: Ryan Conwell, SG, Louisville

Sacramento drafts a shooting guard that they can develop behind Zach LaVine for a few years until his contract expires. Louisville shooting guard Ryan Conwell makes a lot of sense here.

The 6-2 214 lb Ryan Conwell had 18.8 points per game, 4.8 rebounds per game, 2.7 assists per game, 1.1 steals per game, a 40.8% field goal percentage, a 34.5% three point percentage, and a 83.2% free throw percentage as a senior in 2025-2026. Ryan Conwell played for four different schools in four years, but really broke out at Louisville.

Ryan Conwell has the short range, medium range, and long range. Ryan Conwell can defend the 1 at point guard and the 2 at shooting guard.

  5. San Antonio Spurs: Tarris Reed Jr., C, Connecticut

San Antonio gets a backup center for depth behind Victor Wembanyama. Tarris Reed Jr. had over 10 points per game at Connecticut this past season, but outside of defending and making short-range shots, he doesn't bring much else to the table.

The 6-9 264 lb Tarris Reed Jr. had 14.7 points per game, 9 rebounds per game, 2.3 assists per game, 2 blocks per gmae, a 60.7% field goal percentage, a 0% three point percentage, and a 61.7% free throw percentage in 2025-2026.

Tarris Reed Jr. can shoot from short range. Tarris Reed Jr. can defend the 1 at point guard, the 2 at shooting guard, the 3 at small forward, the 4 at power forward, and the 5 at center.

  6. Los Angeles Clippers: Joshua Jefferson, PF, Iowa State

Kawhi Leonard, Derrick Jones Jr., and Brook Lopez are all UFA's in 2027. Drafting the best player available and reloading at either small forward, power forward, or center makes a lot of sense. Joshua Jefferson the combo forward that played both the 3 at small forward and the 4 at power forward makes the most sense for the Los Angeles Clippers if he falls this far in the second round.

The 6-7 246 lb Joshua Jefferson had 16.4 points per game, 7.4 rebounds per game, 4.8 assists per game, 1.6 steals per game, a 47.1% field goal percentage, a 34.5% three point percentage, and a 70% free throw percentage as a senior at Iowa State in 2025-2026. Joshua Jefferson began his career at Saint Peters before transferring to Iowa State.

Joshua Jefferson has the short range, medium range, and long range you want. Joshua Jefferson can pass the ball to teammates like a playmaker at point guard. Joshua Jefferson can defend the 1 at point guard, the 2 at shooting guard, the 3 at small forward, the 4 at power forward, and the 5 at center.

  7. Oklahoma City Thunder: Richie Saunders, SG, BYU

The Oklahoma City Thunder draft a shooting guard for depth. Richie Saunders is a great fit here.

The 6-5 204 lb Richie Saunders had 18 points per game, 5.8 rebounds per game, 2.1 assists per game, 1.7 steals per game, a 48.9% field goal percentage, a 37.6% three point percentage, and a 81.7% free throw percentage as a senior in 2025-2026. Richie Saunders is one of the oldest players in the 2026 NBA Draft currently 24-years-old.

Richie Saunders has the short range, medium range, and long range you want in a shooter. Richie Saunders is a great passer as well.

  8. Chicago Bulls: Ugonna Onyenso, C, Virginia

The Chicago Bulls draft a center for depth. Ugonna Onyenso is the top center available.

The 6-11 237 lb Ugonna Onyenso had 6.5 points per game and 4.9 rebounds per game in 2025-2026. Ugonna Onyenso can hit shots from short range, defend the 1 at point guard, defend the 2 at shooting guard, defend the 3 at small forward, defend the 4 at power forward, and defend the 5 at center. He doesn't bring much else to the table though.

  9. Houston Rockets: Trevon Brazile, PF, Arkansas

The Houston Rockets have Fred VanVleet at point guard, Amen Thompson, Houston's 2023 first round pick at shooting guard, Kevin Durant at small forward, Jabari Smith Jr., Houston's 2022 first round pick at power forward, and Alperen Sengun, Houston's 2021 first round pick at center. Reed Sheppard is your sixth man as a third guard as Reed Sheppard, a 2024 first round pick, started when Fred VanVleet got injured, but Sheppard has the versatility to play both point guard and shooting guard. Tari Eason, Houston's second 2022 first round pick is the backup power forward, but his contract is up in 2028. Arkansas power forward Trevon Brazile would be a good replacement for Tari Eason down the road.

The 6-9 225 lb Trevon Brazile had 13 points per game, 7.3 rebounds per game, 1.6 assists per game, 1.6 blocks per game, 1.5 steals per game, a 52.5% field goal percentage, a 34.1% three point percentage, and a 71.7% free throw percentage as a senior in 2025-2026. Trevon Brazile is the third Arkansas player that could get drafted in the top 40 and he's the most experienced player among their 2026 NBA Draft Prospects.

Trevon Brazile has the short range, medium range, and long range. Trevon Brazile passes like a playmaker playing point guard. Trevon Brazile can defend the 1 at point guard, the 2 at shooting guard, the 3 at small forward, and the 4 at power forward.

  10. Boston Celtics: Baba Miller, SF, Cincinnati

The Boston Celtics get a small forward for depth. Cincinnati small forward Baba Miller is a top 40 player.

The 6-10 208 lb Baba Miler had 13 points per game, 10.3 rebounds per game, 3.7 assists per game, 1.2 blocks per game, a 52.9 field goal percentage, a 19.2% three point percentage, and a 65.8% free throw percentage as a senior at Cincinnati in 2025-2026. Baba Miller played at Florida State and Florida Atlantic before transferring to Cincinnati.

Baba Miller the short range, medium range, and long range you want from a shooter. He does a good job stealing the basketball on defense as well as rebounding on both ends with offensive rebounds as well as defensive rebounds.

  11. Miami Heat: Braden Smith, PG, Purdue

The Miami Heat have Andrew Wiggins at small forward, Giannis Antetokounmpo at power forward, and Bam Adebayo, their 2017 first round pick at center.

The Miami Heat have Davion Mitchell and lsast years first round pick Kasparas Jakuciois at point guard. Neither averaged 10 points per game, so drafting a point guard for depth to push those two makes a lot of sense here. Braden Smith is a four year starter at point guard who spent all four seasons at Purdue.

The 5-10 166 lb Braden Smith had 12 points per game, 5.8 rebounds per game, 7.5 assists per game, 1.6 steals per game, a 44.1% field goal percentage, a 43.1% three point percentage, and a 79.5% free throw percentage as a sophomore when Purdue made the 2024 Men's Basketball Championship game where they lost to a Connecticut team that repeated in 2023-2024. Braden Smith had 15.8 points per game, 4.5 rebounds per game, 8.7 assists per game, 2.2 steals per game, a 42.8% field goal percentage, a 38.1% three point percentage, anda 83.3% free throw percentage as a junior in 2024-2025. Braden Smith had 14.3 points per game, 3.5 rebounds per game, 8.8 assists per game, a 44% field goal percentage, a 36.2% three point percentage, and a 82.% free throw percentage as a senior in 2025-2026.

Braden Smith has the shooting to make short range, medium range, and long range. Braden Smith is a floor general in terms of generating assists as a playmaker too despite some scouts saying he's undersized. His defense needs to improve, but he could be a good depth player that pushes both Davion Mitchell and Kasparas Jakuciois.

  12. San Antonio Spurs: Keyshawn Hall, SF, Auburn

The San Antonio Spurs draft a small forward for depth that can push Carter Bryant. If he fails to make the NBA roster as the number eleven or number twelve player as one of the last two third string players, he can start out in the NBA G League.

The 6-10 227 lb Keyshawn Hall had 19.3 points per game, 7.1 rebounds per game, 2.6 assists per game, a 45.1% field goal percentage, a 37.9% three point percentage, and an 85.7% free throw percentage as a senior in 2025-2026. Keyshawn Hall attended four different colleges in four years.

Keyshawn Hall has the short range, medium range, and long range shots you want. He can pass to teammates and create scoring chances for teammates as a playmaker. His defense needs to improve which is why he's starting out as a bench player or a starter on a G League team.

  13. Brooklyn Nets: Otega Oweh, SG, Kentucky

Brooklyn drafts a true shooting guard for depth here. Kentucky shooting guard Otega Oweh could be an option in the second round as some consider him a late riser leading up to the 2026 NBA Draft.

The 6-4 212 lb Otega Oweh had 16.2 points per game, 4.7 rebounds per game, 2.6 assists per game, a 49.2% field goal percentage, a 35.5% three point percentage, and a 77.6% free throw percentage as a junior in 2024-2025. Otega Oweh had 18.6 points per game, 4.8 rebounds per game, 2.7 assists per game, a a 46.5% field goal percentage, a 33.3% three point percentage, and a 73.1% free throw percentage as a senior at Kentucky in 2025-2026.

Otega Oweh can shoot from short range, medium range, and long range. He can get the ball to teammates as a passer and is a good playmaker. Otega Oweh can defend 1 at point guard and the 2 at shooting guard.

  14. San Antonio Spurs: Emanuel Sharp, SG, Houston

The San Antonio Spurs get a shooting guard that they can develop in the G-League for a year before he replaces Keldon Johnson whose a UFA in 2027.

The 6-2 208 lb Emanuel Sharp had 15.5 points per game, 3 rebounds per game, 1.7 assists per game, 1.2 steals per game, a 41.3% field goal percentage, a 37.2% three point percentage, and a 89.1% free throw percentage as a senior in 2025-2026. Emanuel Sharp can hit shots from short range, medium range, and long range.

  15. Sacramento Kings: Darrion Williams, SF, North Carolina State

The Sacramento Kings get a backup small forward that can learn under DeMar DeRozan. Darrion Williams was a player that was in the first round of my very first NBA Mock Draft back in October prior to the start of this years NBA Season because his Texas Tech tape impressed me before he transferred to North Carolina State.

The 6-4 236 lb Darrion Williams had 15.1 points per game, 5.5 rebounds per game, 3.6 assists per game, a 43.9% field goal percentage, a 34% three point percentage, and a 83.6% free throw percentage on Texas Tech as a junior in 2024-2025. Darrion Willams had 14 points per game, 4.6 rebounds per game, 2.8 assists per game, 1.1 steals per game, a 41.4% field goal percentage, a 40.4% three point percentage, and a 77.3% free throw percentage as a senior at North Carolina State in 2025-2026.

Darrion Williams can shoot shots from short range, medium range, and long range. He is decent at rebounding and blocking shots. His passing and one-on-one defense need improvement and that's the biggest reason Williams was a fringe first round pick. Now he's a fringe second round pick since he didn't correct his weakness at Texas Tech at North Carolina State.

  16. Orlando Magic: Felix Okpara, C, Tennessee

The Orlando Magic have Jalen Suggs their first 2021 first round pick at point guard, Desmond Bane at shooting guard, Franz Wagner their second 2021 first round pick at small forward, Paolo Banchero their first overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft at power forward, and Wendell Carter Jr. at center. Orlando has everyone in this starting five locked up until 2030. Their sixth man Anthony Black a 2023 first round pick that can play both point guard as well as shooting guard is going to get extended as well.

The 6-10 237 lb Felix Okpara only averaged 8 points per game as a senior in 2025-2026. Felix Okpara elite short range, medium range, and long range. Felix Okpara can defend all five positions whether it is the 1 at point guard, the 2 at shooting guard, the 3 at small forward, the 4 at power forward, or the 5 at center.

  17. Phoenix Suns: Tyler Nickel, SF, Vanderbilt

The Phoenix Suns have Devin Booker their 2015 first round pick at point guard, Jalen Green at shooting guard, Dillon Brooks at power forward, and Mark Williams at center. Getting a small forward to round out this starting five makes total sense.

The 6-6 237 lb Tyler Nickel had 10.4 points per game, 2.4 rebounds per game, 0.9 assists per game, a 42% field goal percentage, a 40.5% three point percentage, and a 84.3% free throw percentage as a junior at Vanderbilt in 2024-2025. Tyler Nickel had 13.5 points per game, 3.3 rebounds per game, 1.2 assists per game, a 44.5% field goal percentage, a 40% three point percentage, and a 84.7% free throw percentage as a senior at Vanderbilt in 2025-2026.

Tyler Nickel can shoot from short range, medium range, and long range. Tyler Nickel can play the 2 at shooting guard and the 3 at small forward, but he's a more natural fit at the 3 at small forward.

  18. Dallas Mavericks: Peter Suder, SG, Miami Ohio

Klay Thomspon is in the final year of his contract. Peter Suder is a good addition for a team that could use the backup shooting guard.

The Memphis Grizzlies have a good starting five. They can use this pick on the best player available to bolster their bench. Baylor shooting guard Cameron Carr makes a ton of sense here.

The 6-3 213 lb Peter Suder had 14.8 points per game, 4.6 rebounds per game, 4 assists per game, 1.3 steals per game, a 54.6% field goal percentage, a 42.1% three point percentage, and a 73.4% free throw percentage as a senior on a Miami Ohio team that went undefeated in the regular season before losing in the MAC Tournament as well as the round in the round of 64 in 2025-2026. Peter Suder started out at Bellarmine before transferring to Miami Ohio as a junior.

Peter Suder has the short range, medium range, and long range you want in a shooting guard. Peter Suder is one of the better shooters in this draft.

  19. Denver Nuggets: Izaiayh Nelson, PF, South Florida

The Denver Nuggets draft a big for depth. South Florida power forward Izaiayh Nelson has the versatility to play both the 4 at power forward and the 5 at center.

Denver can draft Izaiayh Nelson. He can be utilized as a backup to both Aaron Gordon at power forward and Nikola Jokic at center.

The 6-8 219 lb Izaiayh Nelson had 15.8 points per game, 9.6 rebounds per game, 1.2 assists per game, 1.6 steals per game, 1.4 blocks per game, a 56.1% field goal percentage, a 14.3% three point percentage, and a 72.5% free throw percentage as a senior in 2025-2026. Izaiayh Nelson can make shots from short range and medium range. Izaiayh Nelson can defend against the 1 at point guard, the 2 at shooting guard, the 3 at small forward, the 4 at power forward, and the 5 at center.

  20. Toronto Raptors: Ja'Kobi Gillespie, PG, Tennessee

Toronto gets a backup to Immanuel Quickley at point guard. Ja'Kobie Gillespie, the Tennessee Voluteers point guard could be an option here.

The 5-11 181 lb Ja'Kobie Gillespie had 18.4 points per game, 2.8 rebounds per game, 5.4 assists per game, 2.1 steals per game, a 41% field goal percentage, a 35.8% three point percentage, and a 81.4% free throw percentage as a senior at Tennessee in 2025-2026. Ja'Kobie Gillespie got the short range, medium range, and long range you want in a shooter. This is the one trait Ja'Kobie Gillespie possesses that will make him successful in the NBA.

  21. Washington Wizards: Milos Uzan, PG, Houston

The Washington Wizards draft a point guard for depth behind Trae Young. Milos Uzan is a great value pick here.

The 6-3 185 lb Milos Uzan had 11.4 points per game, 3.1 rebounds per game, 4.3 assists per game, a 45.3% field goal percentage, a 42.8% three point percentage, and a 78.3% free throw percentage as a junior on Houston in 2024-2025. Milos Uzan had 11.1 points per game, 2.7 rebounds per game, 4 assists per game, a 38% field goal percentage, a 34.3% three point perentage, and a 74.1% free throw percentage as a senior in 2025-2026.

Milos Uzan can shoot shots from short range, medium range, and long range. His other biggest strength is his playmaking. Milos Uzan is great at passing the ball to teammates to set them up for scoring chances.

  22. Los Angeles Clippers: Rafael Castro, C, George Washington

Los Angeles drafts a center for the future. They will need one when Brook Lopez retires.

The 6-9 224 lb Rafael Castro had 14 points per game, 8.9 rebounds per game, 1.7 assists per game, 1.2 steals per game, 1.4 blocks pergame, a 66% field goal percentage, a 0% three point percentage, and a 63.8% free throw percentage as a junior at George Washington in 2024-2025. Rafael Castro can score from short range. Rafael Castro can defend the 1 at point guard, the 2 at shooting guard, the 3 at small forward, the 4 at power forward, and the 5 at center. He can defend, rebound, or block against anyone and is an ace defensively despite being raw offensively.

  23. Houston Rockets: Cade Tyson, SF, Minnesota

Houston gets a bench player here. Minnesota small forard Cade Tyson has the versatility to play the 2 at shooting guard and the 3 at small forward.

The 6-7 195 lb Cade Tyson had 19.6 points per game, 5.4 rebounds per game,2.1 assists per game, a 50% field goal percentage, a 41.1% field goal percentage, and a 82.2% free throw percentage in 2025-2026. Cade Tyson can shoot from short range, medium range and long range.

  25. New York Knicks: Tobi Lawal, PF, Virginia Tech

The New York Knicks get a power forward for depth here. Virginia Tech power foward Tobi Lawal makes a lot of sense here.

The 6-7 214 lb Tobi Lawal had 12.4 points per game, 7 rebounds per game, 0.9 assists per game, a 55.95 field goal percentage, a 37.1% three point percentage, and a 64.1% free throw percentage as a junior at Virginia Tech in 2024-2025. Tobi Lawal makes shots from short rannge. He can hit layups, dunk the basketball, attack the glass by getting offensive rebounds, and blocks shots effectively in the low post.

  26. Chicago Bulls: Tyler Bilodeau, PF, UCLA

The Chicago Bulls get their future replacement for Patrick Williams as their backup power forward. UCLA power forward Tyler Bilodeau could start out the in the NBA G-League and get promoted as a backup to Matas Buzelis.

The 6-7 228 lb Tyler Bilodeau had 13.5 points per game, 4.6 rebounds per game, 1.5 assists per game, a 49.6% field goal percentage, a 40% three point percentage, and a 71.7% free throw percentage as a junior 2024-2025. Tyler Bilodeau had 17.6 points per game, 5.6 rebounds per game, 1.1 assists per game, a 51.8% field goal percentage, a 46.4% three point percentage, and a 87.3% free throw percentage as a senior at UCLA in 2025-2026.

Tyler Bilodeau can shoot from short range, medium range, and long range. Shooting is his biggest strength. He needs to improve his defense and passing to become a consistent starter in the NBA, but he can come in and score off the bench while he develops his passing and defense more in the NBA G League.
