Milwaukee Bucks 2017 Season Preview

Milwaukee has Giannis Antetokounmpo. Jabari Parker compliments him well, but has trouble staying healthy.

The Milwaukee Bucks traded for Michael Carter-Williams who won the 2014 Rookie of the Year with the Philadelphia 76ers got traded to the Milwaukee Bucks last season. Former NBA point guard Jason Kidd molded Michael Carter-Williams even more as Michael Carter-Williams averaged 14.6 points per game.

Shooting guard Khris Middleton averaged 13.4 points per game. Giannis Antekonmpo plays small forward and averages 12.7 points per game.

There is no question that Jabari Parker and Greg Monroe are the stars of this roster. What confuses me is that Parker is playing power forward even though small forward is his best position. Monroe is better suited for power forward as well. Parker averaged 12.3 points per game as a rookie and Monroe posted 15.9 as a power forward.

There is no question that the Milwaukee Bucks have a quality starting five and that will get them at least an 8 seed. I still think the Bucks get swept by a team like the Cavaliers because Parker should be playing the 3 and Monroe should be playing the 4 at power forward.

Besides promising rookie Jabari Parker, the only other player on the Bucks is point guard Brandon Knight who scored 17.9 points per game in 2013-2014. With outstanding coaching from Jason Kidd in 2014-2015, we could be looking at a guy that can get anywhere between 20 and 24 points per game.
