Indiana Pacers 2017 Season Preview
Indiana has a good team to build around Paul George. They got swept by the Cleveland Cavaliers and one has to wonder if a rebuild is in order.

Indiana looked like they were about to enter a brutal rebuilding phase after trading Lance Stephenson and Roy Hibbert. Adding Monta Ellis at shooting guard in Free Agency and drafting Myles Turner out of Texas eleventh overall in the 2015 NBA Draft is what allows the Pacers to remain a premier team with an outstanding starting five.
In Indiana two Hill's are better than one. Point guard George Hill and power forward Jordan Hill are teammates. Jordan Hill signed with the Lakers in Free Agency to give the Pacers an upgrade at power forward.
Paul George is ready for a redemption year at small forward now that he's back at full health. I like this Pacers starting five better than the one that got the one seed when the Pacers met the Heat twice in the Eastern Conference Finals. Still, I don't expect this Pacers team to dominate like that one did in the Eastern Conference the last two years.
