Ducks News NHL: The Anaheim Ducks defeat Nashville Predators 5-3.



Anaheim Ducks Even Series In 2017 Western Conference Finals

Nashville took a 2-0 lead on the Anaheim Ducks early in the first period. Ryan Getzlaf had his first of three assists in the first period. Nashville led 2-1 after one period.


The Ducks tied it at 2 in the second period. Filip Forsberg scored to put Nashville ahead again with a 3-2 lead.


Anaheim scored in the third period when Nick Ritchie put the Ducks ahead. It was Ritchie's first goal of the 2017 NHL Playoffs and it came at a critical time.


Anaheim tied the game at 3. Ryan Getzlaf got his second assist when he fired the puck to Nick Ritchie. That gave the Ducks their first lead of the game as well as a 4-3 lead.


Nashville won game 1 3-2 in overtime. Anaheim got a fifth goal in the third period to take a 5-3 lead. Anaheim won 5-3 to even this series at 1-1 heading back to Nashville.
