Minnesota Wild Destroy Chicago Blackhawks In 2016 Stadium Series

Matthew Dumba scored very early in the first period. Dumba put the Wild up 1-0. Thomas Vanek received a pass from Jason Pominville that went in for a goal. Minnesota led Chicago 2-0 after one period.
The second period at TFC Bank Stadium resumed after a lengthy intermission thanks to Cheap Trick performing during the first intermission. Nino Niederreiter scored to make it a 3-0 Wild game. Jason Pominville made it 4-0 Minnesota.
Michael Rosival got ejected for a hit on Jason Zucker in the second period. Minnesota led 4-0 after two periods. Ryan Carter made it a 5-0 Wild game after passing the assist to Matthew Dumba in the first period to put Minnesota up 1-0.
Patrick Kane did score his 35th goal of the year. Sure Kane leads the NHL in goals scored this season, but Chicago still lost 6-1 after the Wild got an empty net goal on the Chicago Blackhawks late in the third period.
