Dynamic Duo Of Kevin Durant And Steph Curry Steps Up In 2017 NBA Finals

Golden State's dynamic duo of Steph Curry and Kevin Durant stepped up. Durant led Golden State with 33 points. Curry managed to record his first career triple double with 32 points, 11 assists, and 10 rebounds. LeBron James had a triple double as well in a losing effort with 29 points, 14 assists, and 11 rebounds.

Klay Thompson and Draymond Green were sloppy in game 1. Thompson did much better with 22 points and Green had 12 points in game 2 with both players looking much better. You'd like to see Green avoid foul trouble, but that's not an issue with how lethal Curry and Durant have been.

This game was also the return of Head Coach Steve Kerr. Mike Brown LeBron's former coach on the Cavaliers filled in for Kerr in game 1 of the 2017 NBA Finals which Golden State won. Kerr returned tonight though and you saw more of the same dominance that you saw from Golden State in game 1 of the 2017 NBA Finals.

LeBron did everything in his power to help Cleveland win. This Golden State team is just that good right now during the 2017 NBA Finals and is 2 wins away from going 16-0 in the 2017 NBA Playoffs currently 14-0 through 14 games. No team in NBA History has ever displayed such dominance during the NBA Playoffs after defeating Cleveland 113-91 in game 1 and 132-113 in game 2 at Oracle Arena.

Game 3 is Wednesday Night in Cleveland. Golden State leads this series 2-0 and Cleveland needs to hand Golden State their first playoff loss on Wednesday if they plan on having any shot of repeating as NBA Finals
