Phoenix Suns shooting guard Devin Booker led the Suns with 34 points while also providing 8 assists and 7 rebounds. Phoenix Suns center DeAndre Ayton had 21 points and 16 rebounds as the first pick in the 2018 NBA Draft recorded a double double. Point guard Chris Paul had a team low 7 points. Still, the Phoenix Suns as a team deserve a ton of credit for playing strong defense as they held both LeBron James and Anthony Davis to under 20 points in this contest.

Game 2 of this series resumes on Tuesday. This is a must win game for the Lakers. Phoenix has a chance to make a statement against last years NBA Champions if their team can play at a high level once again.
