Posted By: Chris Ransom Last Updated: June 24, 2016.

  1. Toronto Maple Leafs: Griffen Outhouse, G, Victoria Royals (WHL)

Toronto grabs one more goalie to develop. Griffen Outhouse had a 1.82 GAA and a .937 save percentage in 27 regular season games. He started 3 WHL Playoff games with a 2.51 GAA and a .901 save percentage.

  2. Edmonton Oilers: Benjamin Gleason, D, Hamilton Bulldogs (OHL)

Edmonton grabs the best player available. Benjamin Gleason finally stepped up with Hamilton after struggling on the London Knights.

  3. Vancouver Canucks: Kasper Bjorkqvist, RW, Espoo Blues (SM Liiga)

Vancouver picks here. They go with Kasper Bjorqvist of Espoo Blues as a late round pick.

  4. Columbus Blue Jackets: Tim Wahlgren, C, Modo Hockey (Elitserien)

Columbus adds another center for depth. Tim Wahlgren is the top center left.

  5. Calgary Flames: Ondrej Vala, D, Kamloops Blazers (WHL)

Calgary adds another big on their blue line. The 6-4 216 lb Ondrej Vala is a great value pick in the sixth round.

  6. Winnipeg Jets: Ty Amonte, RW, Youngstown Phantoms (USHL)

Winnipeg took Kyle Conner in the first round a year ago. The Jets are familiar with the area. Ty Amonte, the son of legendary Blackhawks legend Tony Amonte could be a late round pick.

  7. Arizona Coyotes: Linus Nassen, D, Lulea H.F. (Elisterien)

The Coyotes grab another defenseman. Linus Nassen is the top defenseman left.

  8. Buffalo Sabres: Max Gerlach, C, Medicine Hat Tigers (WHL)

Buffalo gets a project center to develop. Gerlach is undersized at 5-9 150 lbs. He plays with a lot of heart and tenacity.

  9. Montreal Canadiens: Otto Koivula, LW, Ilves (SM Liiga)

Montreal adds a winger for depth Otto Koivula is the top winger for depth available at this point. The 6-4 220 lb winger can play left wing or right wing on either side.

  10. Colorado Avalanche: Domenic Commisso, RW, Oshawa Generals (OHL)

The Colorado Avalanche continue to add depth at the wing. Domenic Commisso had 18 goals, 24 assists, and 42 points in 66 games with the Oshawa Generals in 2015-2016.

  11. New Jersey Devils: Yegor Rykov, RW, SKA Saint Petersburg (KHL)

Yegor Rykov had to step up for SKA Saint Petersburg after the team won the 2015 KHL Season. Rykov could be a late round pick because of this.

  12. Ottawa Senators: Veini Vehvilainen, G, JYP (SM Liiga)

Ottawa grabs a goalie for depth. Veini Vehvilainen is one of the top goalies from Finland.

  13. Carolina Hurricanes: Mitch Eliot, D, Muskegon Lumberjacks (USHL)

Carolina gets a defenseman to develop. Mitch Eliot had 13 points for the Lumberjacks in 2015-2016 while struggling on their blue line. Eliot will play for Michigan State this Fall.

  14. Boston Bruins: Cameron Lizotte, D, Peterborough Petes (OHL)

Boston adds another defenseman to their system of prospects. Lizotte has incredible size at 6-2 201 lbs.

  15. Ottawa Senators: Kyle Yewchuk, D, Edmonton Oil Kings (WHL)

Kyle Yewchuk is 6-5 209 lbs. Yewchuk did well against Kale Clague on tape when Edmonton faced the Brandon Wheat Kings. Not only did he out defend Clague at times, he also kept Nolan Patrick the top 2017 prospect to 0 points in one game and Patrick finished the year with 103 points.

  16. Detroit Red Wings: Dallas Hines, D, Kootenay Ice (WHL)

Detroit adds more defense. Dallas Hines is a project, but could develop into a solid third line AHL defenseman.

  17. Nashville Predators: Tyler Steenberg, C, Swift Current Broncos (WHL)

Nashville gets another center in the sixth round. Tyler Steenberg struggles with face offs and defense. He can be an effective line 3 center and top 9 forward when on the ice when it comes to his offensive game.

  18. Philadelphia Flyers: Michael Boyle, D, Sioux City Musketeers (USHL)

Philadelphia drafts the best available player in the sixth round. Michael Boyle was a second round prospect back in the preseason. His stock took a huge hit and I have the Flyers getting him in the sixth round.

  19. New York Islanders: Henry Crone, LW, Fargo Force (USHL)

Henry Crone will be a great asset for the Bridgeport Sound Tigers in the AHL. The Islanders may call up a left winger or two from Bridgeport. Adding Crone allows the Islanders to draft a future replacement for their AHL squad.

  20. New York Rangers: Alexander Andersson, D, Vaxjo Lakers (Elitserien)

The New York Rangers add a defenseman for depth. Alexander Anderson is a good value pick at this point.

  21. Philadelphia Flyers: David Quenville, D, Medicine Hat Tigers (WHL)

David Quenville could go anywhere betweens rounds 2 and 6. He's a steal at this point though so Philadelphia drafts him solely based on value at this point though.

  22. Chicago Blackhawks: Nolan Volcan, LW, Seattle Thunderbirds (WHL)

Nolan Volcan is a steal at this point. Volcan is a project. With the right development, he could develop into Brandon Saad's eventual replacement.

  23. New York Rangers: Joey Anderson, RW, United States National Team Developmental Program (USHL)

New York adds a right winger for depth. Joey Anderson is a third round prospect that fell to the sixth round in this mock draft.

  24. Florida Panthers: Yegor Korshkov, RW, Lokomotiv Yaroslavl (KHL)

Florida adds another right winger. Korshkov had 12 points in 2015-2016 and was ranked the seventh best European Skater according to NHL Central Scouting.

  25. Dallas Stars: Matt Luff, RW, Hamilton Bulldogs (OHL)

Dallas has decent size and great speed. He just needs to produce more points and increase his weight to add to his frame. The 6-2 183 lb skater has AHL potential that could develop into back line NHL potential on the third or fourth line if Dalals can remain patient enough.

  26. Washington Capitals: Felix Boivin, D, Acadie-Bathurst Titan (QMJHL)

Washington drafts a defenseman that can be eventually groomed to play for the Hershey Bears. Felix Boivin is a great fit here.

  27. Tampa Bay Lightning: Ilya Putinsev, RW, Halifax Mooseheads (QMJHL)

The Russian right winger registered 22 points with the Halifax Mooseheads in 2015-2016. Putinsev makes a lot of sense for Tampa Bay here.

  28. Toronto Maple Leafs: Jeremie Beaudin, D, Rimouski Oceanic (QMJHL)

The 5-11 192 lb Jeremie Beaudin had 9 assists with the Rimouski Oceanic after being traded to them following a poor stint with the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles.

  29. San Jose Sharks: Arttu Routsalainen, C, Assat (SM Liiga)

The Sharks have three centers in their thirties. San Jose will need to add depth to their unit by bringing in possible centers to groom for the future with late round picks in this years draft.

  30. Pittsburgh Penguins: Tyler Nother, D, Winsdor Spitfires (OHL)

Pittsburgh wraps up the sixth round with Tyler Nother. Nother anchors the Spitfires second line. His play gets overlooked due to being teammates with first round picks Mikhail Sergachyov and Logan Stanley.
